Have visitors from Mexico staying with me so I tried out this recipe. (They loved other dishes of yours I have made for them). Doubled up on the entire recipe, using two pounds of spaghetti (using the old trick of cooking the spaghetti extremely al dente then finishing the cooking in the sauce in order for the spaghetti to absorb some of the sauce). Everyone loved it. A great way to feed a large group for less than one dollar a person. (Froze the leftovers). Thank you Ray and Zanii.

always undercook the pasta by 1-2 mins if you are going to add to a sauce and finish cooking 5 mins or more. Then cover with a lid and the steam will make sure they noodles are perfected. Cooking the noodles all the way and then adding to sauce leaves them mooshy and when you reheat even more mooshy.
I'm so thankful you posted this particular recipe. I made the decision to make it tonight for supper - didn't have a full pound of ground meat so I added a little hot italian sausage... let's just say it turned out the spice a notch but it was still so delicious! The chips certainly made the meal - I confess I had to make my own with small tortillas and my air fryer but they were the perfect addition. Your recipes inspire me to be a little more creative as I follow your outline. I'm excited to be putting a couple prepared meals in the fridge to enjoy the next few days. Thank you again!!!😊

I'm making this, today, but don't have a few ingredients. Can I substitute Hunt's Tomato Sauce for Hunt's Pasta Sauce (meat flavored)? Beef broth for beef bouillon cubes? Mexican cheese for Velveeta? I was surprised I had everything else. I think my kids will really enjoy this meal. Your granddaughter is beautiful. She looks like a really sweet young lady.

She would cry if she couldn’t help me do something so sometimes I had to find anything for her to make. My baby girl is 24 and I gotta ask to cook 😂. I add chicken bouillon to my noodles and it takes it to the next level for real. I love my noodles to have flavor too. I made this twice and it was so good
