@@Wheatonplate4683 It does play at one point in DL2, during the intro cinematic where Lawan is narrating. It plays at one point in-game too, I think while you're inside a GRE facility. Might be during the Veronica mission.

The first time I realized you could turn the UV lamps off at bandit camp was the smartest I've ever felt playing DL2. Just the fact you could actually do that is great.
I knew about this but didn't know where the switch was in the camps, I usually just use sound to lure them in

I remember doing it once and didn't what it did since it was day. I sure as hell found out when I did it at night 💀

Literally, the prologue has the most attention to detail than anything else in the game. That includes the environment. Prologue has best map and you can’t even get back to it in NG+. Missed opportunity at placing dope EE blueprint at the top of the tower too frfr.
DLC2 will probably have areas like the prologue and be as detailed. The prologue had a beautifully relaxing and immersive look to it.
@@ZombfectedGaming349 I figured that too, too much work put in to just leave the starting area alone, especially since it has so many references.
Maybe the area will become like a big player home.

the elevators being realtime could just be a very cleverly hidden loading screen. lots of older games did it to optimize frame time and load time, Metroid prime is a great example.
when you entered a room, the rooms directly connected to you would be loaded and the doors would not open until the room was finished loading.
I think the elevators are real time but are so slow so that it can render in time for you when you reach the top
If I'm being honest I took advantage of most of those cutscenes by laying down land mines beforehand also fun fact when you dangle from the power cable it doesn't take up stamina like it would with the grappling hook or the rope, also can we all agree when he Sparta kicked the zombie off the cliff at 6:00 to show us the Dead Island Easter egg logo was definitely the highlight of this entire video!😂

Fingers crossed for a Dying Light 3! I absolutely love these games, and the development team is fantastic. While Dying Light 2 might not have surpassed the first one for me, I still had a blast with it, especially the incredible parkour - some of the best I've experienced in a video game!
The first 50 hours of DL 2 I was enjoying but still preferring DL 1, but then with the grappling hook and the paraglider and the central loop map and it's tall buildings the parkour is just infinitely better than DL1, and they fixed the bugs and physics
DL1 is better for the story (obviously) and depressing atmosphere and is a classic masterpiece, but to me DL 2 now is even more fun to play (parkour and gameplay overall)
Dying light 3 is all but confirmed, they made a post asking what the main character should be like. Votes were cast and it's looking like a female gre operative.

Dying Lights atmosphere is just so unmatched, it’s so hard to top that I’ve come to accept that DL2 can’t live up to those expectations and is just a good game on its own without the comparison. I miss the first playthrough of Dying Light, it was something else, the prologue of DL2 gave me that same feeling though
The fact that they put a chicken cloud just confirms more the theory that the virus came from chikens from the space, that and the speaking alien chicken.

I played d2 for 120 hours and decided to start a new game+ on D1 and play it again and boy you could feel the disappointment comparing these 2 games.
Imaging firing 1 guy does so much damage...
@@user-yz2ei5fg8s i mean chris avellone, they fired him because of false accusations and had to remove all his works for d2, they changed the story the tone of the game and so much more because of firing him.

The game as it stands has a garbage story and feel to it it feels soulless
@@boffifis1 the story is pretty much meaningless, dying light2's focus was deciding to give water between 3 factions but they totally changed it. There was no waltz and mia they added that storyline later.
Even the side quests were boring af and it felt like it was not finished compared to d1
@@alirezass10There’s a PDF with every data mined story detail and the story was going to be about Aiden trying to find a cure so he could go home to village and parents and he gets caught up in the faction war.

Dead island 1 and dying light 1 will always be my 2 favorite zombie games
Have you tried the Dead Rising games? Specifically 1-3 (1 & 2 being the best imo)
If not, I'd recommend them. 2 & 3 are co-op. 1 is great, but the time system may annoy you.

@@iPlayiOS I've played 2 and 3 and they are both amazing games. Dead island and dying light were games that were recommended to me by someone special. It's the main reason they are my favorite.

nah. i played it and DLCs. Game is trash. DLCs were alright. Not even close to what Dead Rising represents tho. :)
I've spent too much time in both games to where I've done and have known about most of these. I did not know about the landmine trick, the parkour underwater and the dead island logo tree. That's awesome.

The amount of disappointment I have for Techland for skipping nearly 5 hours of the beginning of the game in New Game + is just unmeasurable.

Pretty sick how the antenna is still basically fully rendered, even at the top. Love when gaming companies will cater to there gamers, even if it's only a handful of people who will actually see it. It's the details that add up!
I think the “at least I didn’t have to climb this antenna” is a reference to Crane since he has to climb a couple when close to the end of the game
I only notice now, Aiden's weapon after running around for ages was a broken shovel wtf?
Maybe he had multiple weapons, but this was the recently found one, because the rest of them broke?
I like to think he traded most of his stuff or just used it up before getting into Villedor because he thought it would be his last stop due to his entire journey being due to his sister

I was really annoyed when I first played dying light 2 and you didn’t get to climb the antenna. Would have been a great way to start the game with having the view of the city in the background. Still a great game to play though. 😃
That Dead Island logo easter egg is cool as hell. But also kind of bold, considering they changed the logo for the Definitive Edition (likely due to the portrayal of suicide)
I did waste 200+ hours in this game so I knew most of them. But I never noticed health and stamina changed like that or you can somehow do parkour in Sunken City.
Though, I only visited Sunken City for airdrops once or twice so, it is as expected I guess.
Turning off the UV lights in the bandit camps is to risky now with all the volatiles around now.
I remember the trailers making this game looking so good. Prerendered of course

I wish the lift in the vnc tower was a loading screen it would be so much quicker
after playing the first game 100 hours i tried to like the second game a lot. i started two times but i just couldn't get myself into the world, gameplay and story. last week i bought the first game again to a different console. I'm gonna start that one. second game is a disappointing experience for me
