Took me about 30 minutes thanks to this video. When removing the retainer clip for the door "handle" it went flying, so be careful. When removing the four bolts that hold the entire mechanical assembly, note that one of them is a screw and different than the others. Also, when removing the gears inside the black actuator, in addition to removing the large gear, I removed the top of the small gear. That exposes a little pin/clutch mechanism inside the gear. I lubricated that as well. Thanks so much for the video!

I have a 13 touring with the same issue. I've had the same idea as you. I first tried sprayed lube into and on any parts I could reach with the door still in tact, but it made little difference. So I thought that one day, I would do the same thing you just did. I am happy you made a video because now I know what do do rather than winging it.
@@x-coastie I finally did this fix, it was easy to do (thanks to you) and it works. I tested it many times and no more pop or hesitation. I unlocks and slides open without judder or popping noise like it used to. I opened the black actuator and used some left over grease and put it back together. I then used lithium spray on all the linkages and it works well. Many Thanks!
