- Quick demo of the Gibson Pinball PC desktop controller playing pinball FX. Showing the force feedback, plunger and nudging. For playing on a regular screen but also VR Virtual reality pinball.
It has all the necessary buttons and a plunger. You can nudge by pushing the controller. What makes it really unique is that is has actual force feedback in pinball FX, not only on the flippers but also on bumpers and slingshots and that it works Plug & Play. No fiddling, no hassle!
I like digital pinball. And pinball FX especially because it is so easy to use. But not playing with a regular keyboard or controller. Or fiddling around with complicated apps and software. With this controller you can just fire up pinball FX on your PC and play right away. Pull the plunger and feel the flipper slamming. And nothing beats feeling the bumpers sharp thunking when the ball hits a nest of bumpers. This is what digital pinball is all about. You need to feel, shove, push, slam...
And just as a side note, it works with all the other digital pinball software as well (VPX, Zaccaria, TimeShock, Pinball Arcade etc.)

I would buy in a heartbeat. Very similar to the Cleveland Software box without the extra steps.
The response I received is very promising so a Kickstarter is very likely. Besides being plug and play I honestly think we have the best feeling force feedback in the business.

Looks cool. Do you have a way to get plunger support for a console version of Pinball FX? Need it to just be a left analog down.
Don't forget to put anti slip pads below the pinstation :) also on your website you say multiple great designs? What kind of? I would move a "mars" sci fi design as the pinball in fx2 pinball on the quest :)

Definitely. VR is the closest thing you can get to feeling like you’re standing at a real table and this controller would really complete the immersion. I’m not talented enough to build one so I’d love to just buy it good to go.

@@gibsonpinball Lots of VPX tables and a VR modder just released a mod that lets you play pretty much every Unreal 4 or 5 game, so Pinball FX and Pinball M too!
Nice game controller. I think it will be more interesting if the option for a mini computer is also provided with Future pinball and/of Virtual pinball already installed. Just like with the virtual pinball machines that you can order. The programs for these games are the best and free, but quite complex to install on your device yourself.
Thanks. YesWim, we understand. Unfortunately that goes beyond the scope what we are doing: an easy to use and really nice controller option for digital pinball players at home. We think it really worked out well for pinball FX, VPX etc. It is plug and play. And installing pinball FX is quite easy. What pc people use and the installation of VPX etc is up to people themselves. That can get more complicated and time consuming to maintain. We are not in the pc selling business at all. Hope you understand.
@@gibsonpinball I think it's a great device. As far as I know, there is no such device on the market yet. Although Zen Pinball FX shows such devices on one of the choice screens on tables with high chairs. I live in the Netherlands myself. Question: If you plan to market the device, will it also be available to me or only in the US? If it can also be delivered to the Netherlands, I think I will be one of the first candidates who will order this device. I assume that it is also playable with the external hard drives that the company retroarcadegaming supplies, which are actually intended for the AtgamesPinball machine, but can also be used for a desktop computer with some adjustments. I hope it is possible. Currently I'm happily playing pinball on an android Sharpin pinball machine and FX on my computer with a standard game controller, which I don't like as much. Although a vertical screen gives more of a real pinball experience, I find FX a lot nicer on a landscape screen than on a vertical screen. You get a better impression of how high the objects are. It would be a godsend to play FX pinball with such a pinball controller and then the choice is not that difficult to use an external hard drive with 3000 or 1500 games of real pinball games. purchase where most of the preparation has already been done by the supplier.
@@wimvanderboor5764 Check out our updated website. We are in The Netherlands as well. Contact us if interested in proto testing. The external drive you mention is for VPX I presume. And our controller works with VPX as well as FX (and others). So you should be good. Force feedback works on both right out of the box which is truly unique and really adds a lot of fun and immersion. By far most digital pinball players on PC do not own a special controller or cabinet. They play on their regular desktop computer and in landscape mode. And for pinball FX most do not want to fuss around with software but just play. So here we enter with our products. For basic play we sometimes use an ipad on top of the monitor to show the backglass and score display. If it's not in our MiniPin:). For the future we have other products planned as well. One of them truly revolutionary!

I have been thinking of this and i am surprised it doesn't already exist in the market. Will this be compatible with PlayStation?
Unfortunately not with the playstation. It has a different hardware interface. Well. what can I say, we have developed a plug & play force feedback solution others have not. That's why it doesn't exist yet :)
