- Visual Pinball VPX Zen Pinball FX force feedback desktop controller Gibson Pinstudio
Demo of the PinStation digital pinball controller quiet and silent modes. Showing Zen pinball FX but offcourse works with visual pinball VPX. Also showing that playing while standing instead of just seated is a great way to enjoy pinball. Or with the controller on your lap.
The controller really adds to virtual pinball gaming - เกม
this is what I was looking for having a vertical monitor playing with this controller is really the best. I await the release congratulations
Thanks!
This thing looks awesome! What are you using for force feedback? Solenoids or some kind of shaker?
I need this!
I’m looking forward to getting this! Thank you for making it. I just hope it’s not crazy expensive
Thanks! We're aiming at around 150 euro/dollar. For a real quality controller! Soon we'll have definite numbers and more news. We focus on the opposite of expensive and exclusive. We want everybody to be able to enjoy digital pinball. Good value for money. That was the starting point for this project. And even if I say so myself, I am extremely satisfied with the result.
Wow! Looks great! 😎👍
Hi Derek, we are preparing for a Kickstarter crowdfunding as soon as possible. Then you can preorder. Have a look at our website gibsonpinball.com
When is this kickstarter going live? I'll buy one for sure. You gotta put that screen in portrait mode though. :) I bet this is amazing in VR with UEVR and Pinball FX. Can't wait! You are a genius sir.
Working hard on it. Yes, portrait mode is nicer I agree. And VR. I'll show some footage of those if time permits
No room for a PinCab in my house, but this is very cool. I want one!
Am I crazy, or did the sound change substantially from the video two months prior? In that video, it seemed like every sound was the same, even the nudge sounded the same as the flipper. The plunger vibration is very clever - nice touch.
Good things come out of the Netherlands, like my mom from Maastricht (about 70 years ago).
I am limited by certain constraints but try to get different vibrations and sounds. The nudge is definitely different :) I think it's the microphone. With the sharp sounds it sometimes cuts off a bit. Yes, I think the plunger vibration works very well. Even without a plunger and just using a launch button it nicely imitates pulling a plunger spring and launching the ball, releasing the plunger and a few vibrations afterwards. Getting it right was not easy though. But a nice result.
Aha, your mother from Maastricht. Where do you yourself live?
when could i buy it ?
Take my money!
How many solenoids are in that thing? Very cool!
Thanks!
Id be interested in this. Any idea when it will be available, and approximate price?
Thanks! Kickstarter foreseen for September and production after that. So end 2024. Check out the project update video.
DO NOT! Let your oculus face with the lenses to the windows!!! The sun will 100% destroy the oleds AND fast, ruining the darker games. I've been a VR dev since the first oculus dev kit.
Thanks for reminding me!!! Normally I pay attention but here apparently not. I will pay good attention as you surely know what you are talking about.
@@gibsonpinball No problem, I definitely want to get this controller soon. I put myself on the waitlist, do you know anything about the cost?
@@edgerton121 Good to hear. Thanks!
No guarantee but we are aiming around 150 for the one with plunger, force feedback etc. Thinking about a basic one with no plunger etc but still very nice for pinball. Works quite well with the force feedback simulating pulling a plunger/spring and releasing it.
@@gibsonpinball I would easily pay $250-$300 for one. I really really want one with all the features. Please let me know when/if I can buy one! Many thanks, I'm super stoked to have one in the future.
Great to hear you're so enthusiastic. Just as I am :). Will keep you all updated in a new video.
