Zeppelin is the greatest rock band in the history of the world of forever and ever and ever... No lie.
🤪🤪🤪🤪💥👍
That's what Prince said.
Can Confirm.
Ditto
Best band period
Led Zeppelin I could be one of the greatest moments in music history. Do the whole album!!
It's a fantastic debut, but it's not even in the top five of THEIR albums. 😉
@@lyndoncmp5751 It's their 3rd best LP, behind IV (1st) and II (2nd).
Enjoy the ride! This was my music. I'm 65.😊
Mine too, I'm a 70 years bass player from the day.. Jim
I'm 64...yep same!!
That entire album is a must have for any music lover!!! If you like blues, "I Can't Quit You Baby" is for you!!!
The live version at the Royal Albert Hall 1970 is much better than the album version. ✌️
That's why Wille dixon sued them and is credited on most of there blues songs lol.
@@MitchClement-il6iq
Incorrect. Led Zeppelin fully credited Willie Dixon for I Can't Quit You Baby and You Shook Me on the first album. Dixon received 100% song writing credit right from the first pressings in 1969 for both of those songs. He went after Zeppelin for the second album where they took a few lyrics for Whole Lotta Love (they likely thought he wouldn't mind) and did Bring It On Home in deliberate tribute/homage.
His estate got greedy.
Dixon himself wasn't above taking off others without credit.
@@lyndoncmp5751 you jus answered my own question dummy lol
All of us girls had eargasms watching and listening to Robert Plant sing! Led Zeppelin has been my fave group for 50 years. Such a varied repertoire, and four musicians at the top of their powers. Just wonderful! Strongly suggest you review a lot more Led Zep!
Listened to them relentlessly, especially when taking a "trip"!
So true, nobody moans like Robert Plant
And she hasn't even seen Robert Plant yet!! 😅
As a teenager in the 70's, I loved and still love Led Zeppelin. The universe brought these four men together to make stunning music together. The greatest blues rock, folk, jazz, and soulful band to ever grace this earth. Please review the live version of Stairway to Heaven. It is mind blowing! Love watching you two appreciate all different kinds of music. Thank you.
Yes God did us right bringing these 4 together!
The song was about a man that has to leave because he's going off to war. Every Led Zeppelin songs are always great!!!
first album is considered one of the best blues albums ever made you should go through the whole album and just go on and Led Zeppelin 2 and 3 and keep going cuz everything is different and they're all masterpieces
This dude from Canada agrees with the people here that say the best band ever. Period!!!
That's not right my guy, the band is the greatest in history! When I think of a band all of them should be able to sing and play multiple Instruments... that's why the band was tops.
There are two kinds of people: those who love Led Zeppelin and those who have never heard Led Zeppelin. The GOATs of Rock.
Whole album! Yes!
Absolutely, the whole album is a gem.
Robert & Bonzo..20 years old…JPJ ..22 years old….Jimmy…24 years old…..let that sink in!!!
ZEPPELIN….often imitated…never duplicated…lightning in a bottle….do the whole catalogue in order…you will not be disappointed….their live performances are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The BEST debut album by any artist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Once you start exploring led zeppelin you can't stop, just when you think you have heard their best, you find another 👍😂
Exactly! I wish everyone could have grown up with the variety of music some of us did. And respect to ya'll for checking some out. 💚🤙🏼
Yes, Yes, Yes! It's a must that you react to this entire historical rock album!
The whole album "Led Zeppelin" is totally worthy of being reacted to. It was the start of something really BIG! As for the cover photo, when Zep were doing a show in Denmark, Countess von Zeppelin came to the studio where it was happening, because of the name of the band. When she saw the picture of the Hindenberg crashing she lost her...um, mind. She was VERY unhappy.
I’m not sure if it was there, but would sound about right, for one concert they had to call themselves the Knobs LOL. Well that was the name they chose to use.
Yes... The entire album🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
One of the best Zeps, he can SANG!
Every single song that LZ recorded is worth a listen.
Best, first, album, ever!!! The legend begins.
You guy's would totally love this album ..
Beautiful your reaction....Led Zeppelin are drogue to me,, I need hear they every day....
Yes!! Do all of the albums in order please!!🎶 You wont be sorry!!🎶🎸🎶
Their first 3 albums are pure fire!🔥💯 A lot of blues, a lot of rock, and a lot of blues rock!💥 Isaw them in 1970, my senior year in high school!🤗 incredible concert!😁❤️✌️
Modern teens have missed out on so much . The music of years gone by teach so much !
Also true music ! And skill .. Glad you like it .
DAZED AND CONFUSED and YOU SHOOK ME are together no pause on the album it will BLOW YOU AWAY
In those days most rock tours started in the spring and summer. The song is about a musician leaving his love to go on tour. He is not leaving her forever, that songs even states "I am Going ti leave you in the summer time" Everyone thinks it is a greater meaning but it is just a simple song of a musician leaving his lover to go on tour. Too many people over blow the meaning to something it is not.
Whole album fo sho.. This is CLASSIC blues/Rock.. Cheers
The GOAT's,,,,,,really glad you like them. 💥💥💥👍😎
Led Zeppelin are GOATS. Fact.
Incredible!!!!!!
Now you know why they said the word "Wow!" a lot in the seventies. haha!
In 1969 I was AWOL from army, hitch-hiking around California -this was my Fav & theme song
Love seeing Mel in the Zeppelin zone! Please go down the rabbit hole. You won’t regret it.
Led Zeppelin has that effect on people who truly get it ! It's a beautiful thang !! Yas
You have to listen to Dazed and Confused next.
Babe I’m going to leave you and dazed and confused will set the tone for the first album.
One of their best for sure, amazingly beautiful!
Entire album (all of them). YES!
thanks!
This band was the epitome of the blues/rock fusion era. In 1968 they hit us wit a sound that was unprecedented. Motown was also breaking barriers in the soul genre at this time. It was a heady time.
Yes, it's worth it!! ❤😊
You have to have LED FOR THE HEAD,,,,EVERYDAY ❤❤❤LOVE YOU BOTH 🥰🥰🥰
Welcome to the club
Yes! Do the entire album! It's one of the greatest rock albums ever recorded!
Masterpiece.
Led zep live Danmark radio.39 minute video of them in some small studio playing in front of a couple dozen teenagers.Beginning of the band Theres a live version of this
Every album has a masterpiece on it!
You two are awesome!
They are the GOAT
Nobody is greater than Zeppelin!!
I have played that song every day since I got the album in 1970😊
Without question! Debut album, is just called Led Zeppelin 1.
You guys have heard "Ramble On", track 1, from the LZ1.
Dig in. Maybe one side at a time, each studio album in succession.
Worth the ride. Mel, you're looking very lovely these days!
One of the best groups of the 70s 😊
No not one of, they were the greatest, & still considered to be by millions of us fans.
great reaction and great song...more please👍
This is Zeppelin's Rendition of a JOAN BIAZ Song from the Late 50's. It's Loosely based on a Story of a Soldier 🪖 based in a Distant Land, and Falls In Love with a Local Girl . Then when they tell him he's going to be Reassigned come The Summer. They are both Heartbroken 💔!! And ROBERT PLANT Does an Amazing job here Getting that Soldier's pain Across!
This entire album is fire! Well worth listening to. It's hard to believe it came out in 1969!!!
I gotta get a cig & I don't even smoke! Ha! Good one! Thanks so much, great reactions! Almost every one of their tunes is a masterpiece, crafted by the wizard Jimmy Page.
Zeppelin could be the best rabbit hole you can experience. Go for it. They sold over 300 million records worldwide. First to last on the records is the best.
Yes ! The whole album is Fire . My favorite Zep album . Every song as good as the next .
Best F in albums in Rock history. Please continue. Please.
Led Zeppelin was one of those bands that could cross musical barriers; The Beatles and The Stones also come to mind.
Prince idolized Zeppelin, he was astounded by their use of tempo and how they shaded and colored their songs.
Led Zeppelin, like The Beatles, was lightning caught in a bottle, for a short amount of time.
Definitely worth doing the whole album!
It’s great to see first time reactions like I had in the 70s .I was lucky to see them at Knebworth,England and Yes,Zep wil never let you down.If you were to pick any Zep album and then picked any track I’d guarantee you’d like it.From a 61 year old in England.
I've always loved that Spanish Guitar coming in on the left. Most of today's music sure leaves a lot to be desired in comparison.
Monsieur and Madame, you charm me 🎉, vous m’avez charmé, 😘Daniel
The 4 wonderful 😊
It is absolutely worth getting into Led Zeppelin!
“It feels a little inappropriate”….. that line cracked me up!
Yes, this whole album is worth reviewing…..one of the greatest rock debut albums of all time!
Yes.
For blues, "You Shook Me" is top tier. I love the entire third album but the first is a good start! These guys were so young when they wrote and recorded this stuff. Amazing...
MAJOR rabbit hole! Take the dive!!!
The whole album is great ❤
Best band ever. Get in the rabbit hole. Live from Madison Garden will make the mind go boom.
Hi Shawn and Mel, been watching your reactions for a while now, you are both so enthusiastic about your music. Here is one for all your followers
I don't know if you have covered them before, but here goes. Third World, now that weve found love 1979. I think you all would love it.
Cheers Dave, Nottingham. England. xx
I actually got to meet and talk to him backstage of one of many concerts in the 70s
You are on the edge of the rabbit hole, no choice but to jump 😅 Seriously, Zeppelin is magnificent and well worth the dive!
Take it from someone who grew up in the Zeppelin era. YES well worth it. And every other album they made
I always recommend Led Zeppelin music in order starting with the debut. Every single song will move you in someway.
Love your reaction. Yes, their music is seductive. I love many bands. Led Zeppelin is the band for me. Complex, beautiful, with soul. Their influences were American blues. I love that music from America made it to England, and they brought to us all these masterpieces.
Well said.
Loved the song and the reaction
I just love u guys❤😊!!!!!
Best rock band of all time!!😊
Hi K, l agree they're the greatest rock band, but some of their finest songs are not rock...blues, ballads etc...best regards..
Yeah I've always thought this was some of the best acoustic guitar playing produced back then! Especially for rock and roll!
The whole album is great for sure
I can't believe it took this long to get this one on here. Yes, do the whole album. Mel is right, it's about him going back on tour.
This song is not about going off to war as previously reported. It's about a member of a band going off the tour wanting to but wanting to stay home with this love
Led Zeppelin is definitely worth going through ALL of their albums from start to finish. There are a few reactors that do whole albums.
Led Zeppelin I (1969)
Led Zepplein II (1969)
Led Zepplein III (1970)
Led Zepplein IV (1971)
Houses of the Holy (1973)
Physical Graffiti (1975)
Presence (1976)
The Song Remains the Same (1976)
In Through the Out Door (1979)
Coda (1982) Released 2 years after John Bonham's death in 1980. They were in the middle of making this album when John died and so they had enough material to release it.
Definitely go through the album. One of their best
Absolutely, go down the rabbit hole of their first album (this one) and every one of their other albums. All fire! Great reaction!
Please do this complete album! It's over the top great, from beginning to end!
Endless hits from this band
"Your Time Is Gonna Come" is my suggestion. 👍
You are right. Soo much great energy. The music was ridiculous.
The lead singer, Robert Plant and the drummer just turned 20 when they made this album. How scary is that 20 years old with a voice like that greatest band ever. Period
They did this album in early 1969 and at the end of 1969 did Led Zep II. Same year as Beatles Abbey Road and Rolling Stones Gimme Shelter. But this was so different and players so talented. Impossible to surpass. Shook the rock world.
October 1968 this was actually recorded though.
I just turned 66 this year and have been in love with the band since is was 11 yo when the 1st album came out in 69. Look I can't rate the songs because I have emotions and feelings with all of them, Another great song!😍
AWESOME, AMAZING REACTION TO THIS KILLER SONG! CHEERS Y'ALL!
This was really fun, and you two were funny!
