As you felt needing a moment of silence, after the concert most leaving in awe from experiencing musical genius. Ahead of their time then as you felt now. Good to see a young person appreciate.
Debut album, EVERY song a masterpiece. Robert Plant was barely 20 years old when this album hit the music scene like a freaking sledgehammer. I was there -- yes, I'm THAT old!! What a time to be alive! This album changed EVERYTHING for us. We listened to this kind and quality of music all day, every day. You need to take a deep dive into the incredible music of that era. More great musicians and singers than have ever been seen in one generation before or since. We LIVED the music and still do, despite being as old as we now are.
Keep in mind, this was on their first album. Our collective mouths dropped open the first time we heard this when it was released. It still drops my mouth listening to it today. Welcome to the journey, brother.
Especially when you think they were only together 2 months when they recorded this album. They did it in 4 days & a total of 35 hours. Page produced mixed & edited, all start to finish, all in that short time.
First heard this in 1970. So many epic bands... so many geniuses... from Australian outback 50K years ago onward... no better perfectionists than Zep. Before or since.
You need to do Zep like we Gen X did. Start at zep 1 and work your way forward. They can open you to a sound that defies generations and open your mind musically and within you, you will see change.
💜 I love your reactions! I’m a boomer, and graduated from high school in 1975, so Led Zeppelin were really popular during my high school years. So glad that even though I could be your grandmother, we can still appreciate some of the same music!😆🥰 Thank you for this wonderful reaction! ❤
This is one of my favorites of theirs, and it is from their debut album. The very first time they played together, they all stopped and looked at each other. They knew they had something special right then and there, and they blew our minds when they burst onto the scene. And yes, please keep doing Zeppelin!! 💜☮️❤️
That eerie sound is Jimmy using a bow on the guitar! Boomer here! I was a teen in the 70s...best time of my life!! Nobody was better than Led Zeppelin!!
💜I am here, trying so hard not to laugh out loud since everyone in my house is sleeping. Your reaction is priceless, no way I would not stay til the end. Thanks for another fantastic Zeppelin reaction. #LEDZEPPELIN
Oh me too! i had NO doubts that they would Live on **Forever** but it is amazingly awesome to see it actually happening in real time indeed! **RockON!!!** There will NEVER be another Band like **OurBelovedOtherWorldlyLedZeppelin** **LedZeppelinLuvForeverInfinity&Beyond**
OMG you are sooo freakin **LUCKY** Wowie Wow must have been out of this world AMAZING but i guess i was the odd one out cuz when i 1st started listening to them when i was 8 yrs old i instantly fell in **MadLuv** with **MyBeautifulJimmyPageMagicalMusicalGeniusWizardBabe** i was not so much into **Plant** until recently when i FINALLY got to see them **Live** with the **Magic** of yt i can NOW see why ALL the girls around me were so **Mad** for **Plant** but still to me it is **MyJimmyWizardBabe** **LedZeppelinLuvForeverInfinity&Beyond** i would **Luv** to hear more of your **Experience** of actually seeing them **Live** gawd i would give practically ANYthing to have been able to see THAT!!! **RockON!!!**
💜. My roommate and I went out and bought this album.,,went back to our dorm room and put it on the turntable. We were thinking it was a pretty hard album……and then track four was this, We were utterly gobsmacked. The sounds that Jimmy is doing here (using a violin bow on his guitar) sounded so much like the sounds we heard back then in horror films, that it actually was a bit disturbing…..creepy. I felt like crawling under my bed! 😉. This was the “hardest” rock music that we had heard, with the exception of Jimi Hendrix, and possibly Cream. Zeppelin was the next evolution of rock……leading the way to Black Sabbath and later, to metal.
Jimmy Page uses a violin bow, when you were wondering about the sound. They were & still are the greatest band ever, every song is worth listening to, so keep reacting to them & I’ll be there.
@@georgeseif102 Hmmm some say a violin bow, others say a cello bow, I believe Page said a violin bow in an interview. He said a violin musician from one of the sessions he played for, asked if he ever thought about playing with a violin bow, & Page perfected it. I’m surprised it took you 40 years to realize that.
To this day I think that first album was their best and my favourite ever album. I still play my original one . Babe I'm gonna leave you is still my favourite song.
Continues to amaze and impress me how LZ always delivers to the listener. JayFlex check out "When the levee breaks" from Led and then go hear the "Playing for change" version. You'll absolutely love them BOTH I promise
OK Jay - Aussie boomer here. Love your reactions! If D&C left you breathless, listening to The Lemon Song will require supplemental oxygen - trust me! 💜🇦🇺
I think its about a guy whose girl is doing him wrong. He still wants her and is torn. That crazy bridge is what the guy is going through mentally. Broken heart. cheated on. Does not know what to do. He works it out in the end and kicks her to the curb.
Jay Flex u.da man! I'm waiting to see you and your sister reaction to move Zeppelin. Robert plant can hypnotize women's and put them in a trance iconic voice. ATB from your 🇨🇦Ian cousins
I suggest that you please watch LZ Madison Square Garden 1973 live videos, for example Black Dog, Since I've been loving you, Over the Hills and far away, Stairway to heaven and Rock'n'roll. 🎶🎵
To understand them better do please watch “How Many More Times” live on Danish television. They introduce themselves to the world, a performance to stand the test of time. They were young, very young. Ready to conquer the world.
One time my sister were leaving Fredericksburg VA on a two-lane, hilly road listening to a Led Zeppelin cassette. We suddenly realized we were going 100mph. Good, but not good if you know what I mean.
Ahahaha man YOU do the **BEST REACTIONS** to My **BelovedOtherWorldlyLedZeppelin** & My **MadLuv** **MyBeautifulJimmyPageWizardBabe** **Luv** EVERYthing ya say ahahaha Ya **ROCK** They DO things to me that i can NOT even really say on this BUT lets just say yes they touch my **Soul** EVERYtime & make me feel feelings ive never felt before ever since i 1st started listening to them when i was 8 they are simply THE **Best Band EVER** to me PLEASE i know ya can do it ha keep going man they are the greatest **Gift** to this CrAzYYY world **RockON!!!** 💜
Check out the live version from Madison Square Garden 1973 sometime. 26 minutes long. Jimmy Page showing off his virtuoso guitar skills! (By the way, a good rule of thumb with 70's music is if you think it could possibly be about sex, it absolutely is. EVERYTHING was about sex in 70's music. Pretty much the only genre that wasn't was prog rock, and even there it sneaked in now and then. But Zeppelin? Oh yeah. All that moaning and yelling and climactic building up? Totally about sex.)
The way Robert's voice "fits" the style, as you say, is the main reason I don't think it would have been quite as good with Steve Marriottl as the front man. But it would have been great with him too, just not quite the same product as what we got.
💜 Check out Yoyoka covering this song on drums at age 10 or 11. I can't hear this song without seeing her playing it in my mind's eye. th-cam.com/video/xtX2rVxOMYM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IBkCim5vKeExsIk_

@@hopebgood Hard for me to have a favorite on the first Zeppelin album. Every cut was smoking.
Especially when you think they were only together 2 months when they recorded this album. They did it in 4 days & a total of 35 hours. Page produced mixed & edited, all start to finish, all in that short time.
Yes indeed
RightON!!! **Best Band EVER!!!** to me!
Boomer here. So glad the music that I grew up with is still being appreciated. No autotune just down right talent.
Me too!
First heard this in 1970. So many epic bands... so many geniuses... from Australian outback 50K years ago onward... no better perfectionists than Zep. Before or since.
This is my favorite Led Zeppelin song I saw them do it twice in person they were my favorite then in the 70s and they're still my favorite
Jimmy Page is using a cello bow on his guitar. The answer to the question of,v"What is that" Enjoyed your reaction to the mighty Zeppelin.
💜 You're hilarious 😂 When you suddenly stopped and said, "Why am I shouting?" I laughed so hard that I woke my dog from her nap. 😂😂
Best Band ever...they were very young men (early 20's) when they laid down these iconic monster tracks...they truly are legends...
Plant was 20yrs old when he laid down this vocal track, just amazing
Love your reaction. Their first two albums are the best, IMHO. Every track is phenomenal. You won’t be disappointed.
They found their sound right from the start
That sound is a guitar played with a violin bow with effect pedals
Jay u peeped it. Plant always said he used his voice as another instrument. Remember- their 1st album...
💜 I love it that you are experiencing the music of my youth, and feeling then same as we did 😁
You need to do Zep like we Gen X did. Start at zep 1 and work your way forward. They can open you to a sound that defies generations and open your mind musically and within you, you will see change.

Hard Blues Rock man! End of story.
They were, are and WILL ALWAYS BE the ultimate rock band.
They’re not just a rock band….blues, soul, metal, etc.etc.etc……all 4 of them are G.O.A.T. IN THEIR SPECIALTY…..TOP OF THE HEAP PERIOD….
Zep destroys all others. Period.
bonzo's drumming is like no other
💜
I’ve just heard them all
My life
I’m 56
But it is quite awesome 😊
Best rock band ever. 61 years old, and they are still my #1!! I love watching the younger fenerations listening to and appreciating Led Zeppelin.
You always get ten songs in one with Zeppelin. Best baby making music of the 70's/80's, lol! There will only ever be one Led Zeppelin! 💜
Their first album, too! When most bands are still experimenting with different sounds, Led Zepp sounds like they've already passed that phase.
Can you imagine... being 16 yrs old and high as hell.. hearing this song in 1969? It was an amazing time to be young and crazy
JayFlex, you've just gotta hear Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love"!
We all used to wait for 9pm and the local radio station would play three Zeppelin songs in a row 😊❤️ I mean everyone 😂
F YEA!!!
That eerie sound is Jimmy using a bow on the guitar! Boomer here! I was a teen in the 70s...best time of my life!! Nobody was better than Led Zeppelin!!
Still the greatest band of all time the mighty led Zeppelin.
Everything eventually goes full circle! The Blues is no different! BTW, that weird noise is feedback..
💜 welcome to the best band you’ll likely ever find.
Loved your reaction, enjoy sir, I have for decades and they still blow my mind.
And that solo. I am 55. been listening to Zep for about 40 years now. That solo still feels so crazy to me. Love it.
The GOATS OF GOATS! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
💜I am here, trying so hard not to laugh out loud since everyone in my house is sleeping. Your reaction is priceless, no way I would not stay til the end. Thanks for another fantastic Zeppelin reaction. #LEDZEPPELIN
You’ve just stared the rabbit hole
More Zeppelin, please
Thanks for checking out my favorite band since 1969 ❤
Please enjoy the crazy trip out and back 😮
The sound is Jimmy Page playing the guitar with a cello bow.
Cello bow on the guitar.
Check out the live version of In My Time of Dying. You won't be disappointed.
I may be getting older 🤓
BUT
I got to see all the cool bands 😎
Yes! 👏👏👏
Welcome. We've been expecting you.
That sound is Jimmy playing his guitar with a cello bow. Some say violin bow. Whichever it a bow.
When I first heard this as a teen ‘back in the day’ it blew my mind. Love to see new minds being blown 50 years later! Music was raw and real talent.
Oh me too! i had NO doubts that they would Live on **Forever** but it is amazingly awesome to see it actually happening in real time indeed! **RockON!!!** There will NEVER be another Band like **OurBelovedOtherWorldlyLedZeppelin** **LedZeppelinLuvForeverInfinity&Beyond**
Greatest band ever talented beyond belief led Zeppelin Allahu Akbar case dismissed
Check out live version in Madison Square Garden
Best ever. They fit together unbelievably.
Love Led Zeppelin!
❤🇪🇦🙏
I saw Led Zeppelin perform this song in concert in 1969 and 1970. They were electrifying in person.
I evy you as someone unfortunately born in the 21st century
Saw them do this tune, Tampa Stadium 1973...one of the best concerts ever...all the strange effects are just Jimmy Page and his guitar....
My absolute favorite LZ song. We had the best music. Name a contemporary song today that compares in terms of musicality & soul. 💜
Good stuff.
I'm always awestruck
All I can say to young people who start to hear this song for the first time is, "Buckle up for this ride."
Watch it live!
We ladies love Robert Plant the sexiest Rock God of all. Saw them live 5 times. Lucky me😊😊💜

30 or more
Go in order of their albums...they get even better. You'll get lots of subs from us Led Heads. ❤😊
💜 Sometimes I forget how good they are. And then I hear one of their songs and I go, "Oh, right." 💜
💜💜
We were so lucky to grow up with them!
That sound is being made by a Fender Telecaster guitar with a Cello Bow being dragged across the guitar strings.
Jimmy Page uses a violin bow, when you were wondering about the sound. They were & still are the greatest band ever, every song is worth listening to, so keep reacting to them & I’ll be there.

Certainly one of their early classics. The live version is a guitar clinic.
❤️❤️❤️❤️ Mostly an AJ fan nowadays but I was listening to Zeppelin way before i ever heard of Angelina. The best blues based rock band EVER imo.😊
Great reaction!!
I suggest Whole Lotta Love next.
You should watch Jimmy Page play his guitar with a bow
That sound that you asked about is Jimmy Page playing his guitar with a cello bow.
