I never really understood all the hatred towards Mister House, he is a smart ass, and forceful, but he really does want to bring New Vegas to its pre-war glory. Also if you side with him he ends up respecting you in the end.
I like to think of Mr.House as the Tony Stark of the Fallout universe. Just put his Stasis pod inside Liberty Prime's chassis, And he'll be ready to fight off a Super Mutant behemoth!
Nachover 9000 I know! Mr House is pretty much the only one of the four with big plans for what remains of humanity. If you look at the other options, not much appeal. Legion- Does anything really need to be said? Besides, many predict that once Caesar dies, the Legion will crumble and their territories will suffer. NCR- They may have good intentions, but are too corrupt and money/land hungry. Kind of similar to the Legion except nicer. And they are going down the same path as their predecessors (US government). They will destroy themselves again in their lust for expansion. Independent- Again, nothing needs to be said. I understand the people of the Mojave wanting to gain independence after years of bickering between the other three. But then the Mojave has no future, without Mr House or any kind of government, it will turn into an anarchist shithole. Mr House is clearly the man here for the job. With his knowledge, he said in 100 years, he'll get people in orbit to search for new planets that aren't polluted to high hell and nearly uninhabitable
Nachover 9000 Always wondered why some people hate House while loving NCR, a bloated military state that is aggressively expanding with no regard for the locals. All they care is taking everything for themselves, while working with House leads to the restaration of Vegas.
Well, Oxhorn made a few good points regarding the problems of Mr House. His willingness to gamble and potentially tempt fate, his autocratic mindset, which was one of the most flawed and bloodiest of regurgitations of the past and his total disregard for even giving people like the Brotherhood of Steel a chance at mutual agreement, despite certain members thinking about giving that a try. Not to mention, his miscalculation regarding the bombs falling, as he mentions, probably shows he doesn't have everything 100% down pat, ergo, he can potentially make a grave error that could lead to huge, unforseen consequences, despite his ambitions.
R.I.P to the voice actor. He delivered the voice of Mr House so powerfully. I just listened to that "wipe out the techno-fetishists" line, and it sounds like a convincing future.

Didn't realize it was him till a few days ago and I can't unhear it lol
An other reason why house is a great character
“So u dont have an air fryer?”
Rest in peace, Rene Auberjonois :(
All this really needed was Odo's dismissive grunt.
22 dislikes were from the remaining ceasers legion
Rest in peace Mr. René Auberjonois
RIP Rene Auberjonois. RIP Mr. House.
Who disliked this? Was it Quark?
Honestly? I am a socialist. Libertarian socialist - unionization, protection of human rights and communal scientific progress off of democracy. Even with that, I prefer house to the NCR. House has a commitment to progress, he has an actual future besides recreating the structures that led the world into nuclear war. He respects scientific progress no less than he does capitalism, and that is something neither NCR nor Legion can give. Progress.
Mr. House is a genius.
When a man on a screen is mre interesting than most characters. Even better, he hires people famous for betrayal
Not one character in fallout 4 has dialogues this interesting and long
28:50 is my favorite part
Oh he can actually save humanity, neat.
Mr House is cool
19:30 Success depends on forethought
