My Last Week as Pregnant / postpartum food prep

- Welcome to another vlog! This was my last week as pregnant and so I decided to do some healthy meal and snack prepping to be prepared for when baby girl arrives ☺️ You can of course make these preps without having a baby 😉 The spice mix, granola and bliss balls are the ones that I’m already prepping on a regular basis 👍🏼 Last but not least, say hi to our daughter Alina! 🥰

PREP RECIPES 👩🍳
Sheet Pan Pancakes (recipe from my app)
- 1/2 banana
- 3/4 cup (90g) oat flour
- 1/2 cup brown rice flour (80g) (works with white)
- 2/3 cup plant milk (160ml), unsweetened
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
See the video for steps
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes on 190C/375F
I used a 20x25cm / 8x10inch pan
Peanut Butter Granola (recipe from my app)
- 1 cup (80g) rolled oats
- 1/2 cup (65g) cashew nuts
- 1/4 cup (4tbsp) pumpkin seeds
- 2 tbsp peanut butter, unsweetened
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 pinch salt
See video for steps. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until golden on 160C/320F. Let it cool down completely before breaking into chunks
Ps. I doubled the recipe in the video
Scramble Spice Mix (recipe from my app)
- 8 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin, ground
- 1 tsp turmeric, ground
- 1 tsp black pepper, ground
- 2 tsp black himalayan salt (kala namak)
- 1 tsp salt
Just combine all ingredients in an airtight jar. I doubled this recipe in the video.
Choco Bliss Balls
Recipe is from the ‘Plant Based Challenge 2023’ (see the prep video: • PLANT BASED CHALLENGE ... )
Marinated Tempeh
- 400g tempeh
- 3 tbsp tamari sauce
Cover tempeh slices with water and add the tamari sauce, let it boil until there is no water left in the pan.
Bake the tempeh in the oven for 15 minutes on 180C/360F
Use them right away by chopping them into cubes or freeze once they have cooled down
Gado Stir Fry Sauce
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp tamari sauce
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1 lime juiced
Just mix everything up and add to your stir fry in the end!

I woke up feeling a bit down after a terrible night of sleep, it was -45 Celsius here for two days. Then came your smiling face on my TH-cam notifications. I made tea, and decided I would sit and let go of my worries for a bit while watching your video. That was the right decision. But, it made me unexpectedly emotional, haha! 27 years ago, I was the first person here to use the services of a midwife, I was so excited. She was a Peruvian woman named Dilma. Like you, I choose to give birth in a bath, everything was ready. I packed all my things like you, prepped food too for when I come back home. But, things went wrong, and I had to be transported to the hospital for an emergency c-section:( It changed my entire experience, I also had a terrible case of bleeding, and I was so weak. I couldn't see my baby girl for two days after I gave birth. I just cried and cried. Not to mention that the hospital staff was very rude to me, because i was vegan, and it was unseen here. Anyway, sorry for the long text but, all that to say that it made me emotional to see someone having a positive birth experience with a midwife, and that wonderful baby girl discovering the world, omg.... Btw, you had a GREAT view by the window as well, i bet that did help to relax between contractions, something to focus on. Now I hope your family life is wonderful, and that your brand keeps on growing. It was very lovely to see you this morning, i needed something joyful. Thank you for sharing that with us.
