6 days PP, watched so many of your videos to prepare for labor & delivery, I was able to have my daughter naturally with no epidural. I was so amazed and proud of myself! Thank you for all your videos, they are so helpful 😊
Same here!
Same. Im about to have my 3rd child natural vaginal birth no epidural if all goes well. There is just something empowering about it.
You all are amazing and very strong.
I watched almost all of your videos during my pregnancy and was able to have my baby girl naturally, no epidural, and no tears as a first-time mom! ❤My contractions lasted for a day but just felt like strong period cramps, so I didn't go to the hospital. Shortly before midnight, they got more intense, so we drove to the hospital, and when we arrived, I was already at 10cm! I only pushed for 30 min. and baby girl was born perfect at 1:15am 🥰 Thanks for all your positive encouragement and tips! 😘
Expecting our baby in eight weeks, so I'm watching to prepare myself to support my wife post delivery. Thank you so much. This was a really helpful video❤
You’re a good man 👍
Five days postpartum. Watched most of your videos. Had a successful VBAC without epidural. I had my baby girl within one hour.. Thank you so much. God bless❤
Bone broth
Kale, Blue berries & Oranges
Fish, Walnuts, Almonds and Avocados
Whole wheat bread, Brown pasta and Barley
Yes! All great and yummy options!
Minus the bone broth..,
Melaninated woman please understand this list is not for us ! As alot of things she listed in this videos . ALOT of what we think are “ healthy “ diets were not made for black / brown people .. we have to understand this and do through research before consuming the diet of someone with a completely different genetic makeup then us .. Wheat is a # 1 melanin killer . Broccoli is a HYBRID ( another melanin killer ) BEANS are hot for US .. others may be able to consume them but they were not made for melaninated beings i recommend you all follow my doula @KrystalAlkaline on fb and here on TH-cam . Sending you all peace & soooo much love ❤️
@@lightnascending8542 This is super interesting. I knew there were some dietary differences, but I didn't know it was so pronounced. I'm going to research this! I'm not a Melaninated woman, but I am curious. Also it's good to point this out for others.
bone broth, orange, berries , walnutz, almonds, salmon, avocados (no fast food, no chips) , sweet potetos, bread ,
hands up your breathing techniques really helped me through my pushing stage , i did it in 30 minutes with an epidural :) thanks for all the amazing information. delivered my baby on march 22nd 2022 .
I think the best thing to do, even before pregnancy, is to learn how to eat intuitively with gentle nutrition. Learning how to listen to my body while eating to satisfaction AND health is invaluable. not only does it make pregnancy and postpartum just slightly easier, but it's knowledge I can pass down to my children so they can be health and happy too.
4th child birthed at home 🏡 all natural and I am so tired 🥱
This post partum is very hard on me and this was a hard birth as well.
Been 🤱 nursing and the kids are back to school only 12 days post partum. It’s been a challenge 🙏🏻 grateful for all the tips and I totally love you channel 📺 ❤️ I watched your videos for my last birth 🤰 👦🏼 🧒🏼 👧🏼 so I was more prepared this time. Thanks for all the info we are so grateful 🥲
You are awesome. Weldone
This takes my back. My baby is 18 months now but because of you I had my first vaginal, natural, home birth. Back labor and all. I recommend to all women wanting a beautiful natural birth.
Currently one week pp. The breathing techniques really helped me through my labour. I had an epidural shortly before birthing my baby and continued with my breathing and side lying position. I pushed him out in less than 8 minutes with minimal tearing. Thank you for your advice !
I want to say a huge thanks to you Bridget, just few days ago i gave birth . after 36 hours. of pain it was natural birth ,i followed all d exercise and birth ball and also during contractions breathing exercises was very helpful. Here in Europe during corona situation i cant go for child birth classes, but your videos are really very helpful. want to say huge thanks from d bottom of my heart.
Your videos are so so informative and I really appreciate it as a first time mom (due in Oct.) you deserve more subscribers and I’m sure you’ll get them with these quality videos. Thank you!!

Your videos helped me deliver without pain meds! The breathing was sooooooo important.
Thank you thank you sooooo much. I had a successful Vbac. Your videos gave me soo much positivity ..i went to labour at 11pm and deliverd by 12:30 which was so faster than how i thought it would be. soo much thankful to you and ofcourse prayers
3 weeks PP with baby number 2 (had all natural and am so proud of myself), but still 24 lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight. I started walking just a slow 1.5 mile walk this week and trying to stay hydrated for breastfeeding. I do take a beef liver supplement for iron as I have a hard time eating a lot of meat, and trying to eat healthier snacks too. Both kids are 100% vaccine free 💪
I just had my second child 10 days ago. He was 9lb 8oz so I really need help recovering. Thank you for the information
Hay am Jude ssempijja a midwifery student in Uganda Africa love your work and it improving my practice thanks alot

Just had my baby boy Apollo! 6-17-19 8 lbs 13 oz! 22 inches long! ❤️ love your vids!
Awe! Congratulations!!! Thank you for sharing this amazing news! Over the moon with happiness for you!
I just had my second baby yesterday. I want to thank you for all your videos. You definitely helped me go through a natural labor with no epidural. I felt you there comforting me through the whole process. Thank You 😊
I think my first postpartum food was a plate of brie, smoked salmon, and raspberries on thin slices of baguette. I call it the Mama Bear diet lol.
I just had my third baby. I've never had such a difficult postpartum. I found this video very helpful.
Just had my third baby and the whole process is different and difficult.
Me too! This third baby is giving me all new experiences starting with her labor and now with post-partum too
How do you deal with vaginal dryness?
@@lissylove666 been a while since I had my baby, but everything should go back to normal, in time.
@@thegardensanctuary2248 thank you💕💕💕💕 I’m pregnant and anxious about postpartum lol
Hey Bridget more likely then not you won’t remember be but we actually met in the Philippines many moons ago! My family were missionaries there and we met you and the team you came with!
I’m married now and pregnant with my first little baby! I’ve been watching your videos for a few weeks now and just wanted to reach out and say hey! And keep the videos coming they are my favorite out of all the videos I’ve tried watching! Your info is clear, helpful and encouraging.
God bless you! I just wanted to say Hi after reading your comment.😊 We are in India, and I am thankful for Bridget’s videos too! That’s so neat that you got to meet her.❤️
I really want to give you a big Thank you! I dreaded giving birth again and although I was sceptical. You made me love it. All your advise. Your meditations. The convidence that grew through your videos resulted in this amazing experience. It even made the hospital staff emotional because it was such a natural birth.
Thank you so much, Bridget for sharing your knowledge with us. I was able to recently have my third baby all naturally, and your videos helped a lot. Thanks again and many blessings to you❣️
My baby boy is 23 days old and iam in my postpartum period... This video is of great help
Watched so many of your videos when I was pregnant...really helped during labour... thank you for this content.
I just had my baby 6 days ago. Thank you for all the tips ! No epidural. 1.5hour labor.
Hello
My daughter is expecting, can you tell us what helped you that it took you only 1 1/2hrs to deliver your baby? Please advice, thank you.
Same here my delivery was so fast and i only started feeling pain at 5:50am and 8am my baby ws born i almost gave birth in the car again..being active help cleaning taking walks and also being intimate with hubby
@@pshahdoshi Hi! I gave birth to my baby two hours after we arrived at the hospital. Eating dates helped make my labor faster I think! I ate at least six dates per day for the last couple months before delivery. Also, are you from India? I am in India and very thankful to have found a good hospital here that let me have a natural birth.😊
Awesome tips! I have been researching all the details of pregnancy and postpartum nutrition and fitness and completely agree with your advice. There isn't a ton of scientific articles on these topics, unfortunately. At least we have doulas with anecdotal experience to help us understand the best options though!
Hi Bridget, I wanted to thank you for all your great videos! I've been watching you for many months already, preparing for my birth and postpartum ;) I'm 39+3 right now, You've helped me a lot with a big knowledge, it's really nice to hear your advices, they did help to calm me down ;) looking forward to your next videos, you are amazing!
Thank you so much for all you tell us . Your breathing technique helps me alot during my labour. In the past when i gave birth to my 2 kids i always cry so much but this time i was so calm and i just focus on my breathing and time went flying and this time my birth experience was so positive.
Thank you again 💓
In Asia, we drink so many variety of soups very often and soups are normally cooked with chicken, pork, beef or lamb bones. Mixed with a lot of vegetables or chinese herbs. Interesting that soup is being called bone broth in America. 😄
We call soup, soup. Bone broth is something very specific.
Thank you for these tips! I am being induced in 2 days so this video was much needed. I am currently 38 weeks pregnant.
These videos have helped me feel so much better about birthing my baby(due early January) and thank you for providing all this great useful information
I love the way you talk and the whole facial expressions 😊
Your videos were so helpful during my pregnancy. Now will be following the postpartum videos ❤️
So grateful and blessed to find your channel 😊
Thank you so very much for such a held information 🙏🙏🙏
True, what we put into our bodies determines everything about us. Most women make the mistake of cutting calories and end up struggling a lot. High fat and protein is the game changer. That's how I lost the baby weight while breastfeeding 6 different times and now I help other women do the same.
Love, that you started with bone broth and added fatty fish like salmon. But what about raw grass-fed butter/tallow/lard? Raw grass-fed milk & cream? Organ meats from pastured animals, cod liver, eggs from pastured chicken, ducks etc.??? I suggest reading: "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration" by Weston A. Price (you can find the book as a pdf for free)
You are amazing, your vidéo about breathing during delivery helped me a lot. Can't thank you enough. Respect from Algeria ❤
Thanks for the advice .This is my second week PP and I’m feeling better
How is bone broth made?
Sounds like some good tips here will keep them in mind. Thank you 🫶🏽
Thank you bridget.. i was able to sail through a whole night of contractions on the breathing technique shared by you👍👍
I guess I was right in demanding Vietnamese Pho for my first postpartum meal back home. That is literally beef bone broth with rice noodles and beef.
Happy mom make the best mom
I was suffering from extreme edema during my pregnancy and I am 4 days PP and I thought that my swelling would go down.. but it is actually a lot worse. I drink sooo much water because I am breast feeding. I am eating a lot and mostly good healthy foods. My face, hands, and legs feet and ankles are all very sore and swollen… it’s difficult to walk and shoes are impossible. I ordered some vitamins, PP detox tea, and Epsom salts to hopefully help me relieve my body swelling. I was induced with potocin and had an epidural.. I expected to have some extra swelling due to the extra fluids from the IV.. but i didn’t expect my swelling to get worse in my legs and feet.. I have swollen eyes and all of my sinuses are swollen too.. like watery eyes and sinus pressure. I am going to add some of your tips as well to hopefully help with my symptoms. Thank you.
3 weeks away from my due date! Have loved your channel and have shared them with friends!!
Me too!! Due July 25th. How are you feeling?!
Feeling good! I’m due Friday! July 10th! No aches or pains, Thank you God! Just can’t wait to meet our boy!
How exciting!
I had my baby! Was due July 25th but he came July 7th. He was born in my home. :)
Wow!!! Talk about real quick momma! Haha! Congrats! I am still pregnant. 3cm dilated and 60% effaced. We will see if he is a due date baby! Praying he is!
3:35 is when she actually starts giving the recks
You are heaven sent thank you so much.
Thank you so much for just providing so much information and knowledge on pregnancy and birth and postpartum. I have to stay I wanted a natural birth as possible and as my pregnancy processed and the closer to the end we got the more genetic issues took something I was looking forward to out of my hands. I love my 36 week premmie. You help me still love my birth and with your information and influence I hope to rock my postpartum period too. I would love if you had more information on best care for your body and premature baby health.

So eat what you already eat in pregnancy? Got it
I love your vedios so much ❤. I was here 2 years before and here I m now 2 years after 😅❤
I was eating very clean before I got pregnant and since the middle of my 2nd trimester when I started having intense food cravings, I’ve been eating whatever I want. I’m nervous about cleaning it up, and my due date is in 3 weeks so I really need support in this area!
2nd trimester oh my god yes I remember the voracious appetite and craving. Don’t you feel 3rd trimester it sorta stopped or is that just me?
It’s never too late to fuel your body with nutrition! Reset now...you can do it! ❤️
Hi Bridget!!! Your so amazing to give so much great tools and advice. So I am 38 and 4 days and already beginning to feel depression before post partem! Could I be lacking on a mineral or vitamin causing this dip in feelings. Been waiting to hold my bundle and have felt so excited and all the sudden wham depression( not typical for me) help!
About to give delivery and watching your video
Such informational content. Thank you.
Hi Bridget! Is bone broth something you suggest making at home or purchasing a high quality? Either way, can you suggest recipes and/or brands?
Please answer this
Thank you for sharing useful information,
Thank you so much. I used your breathing technique during labor, I even imaniged you :D it really helped me
Me too.

I must say, that this breathing is a key. It is so important! Also relaxation techniques
Same!
Combining diet with exercise will help us healthier
Hi, I’m having my 1st baby and I like the way you delivered your knowledge and skill. Can you share some activity should a last trimester mama be doing too? I have gestational diabetes so really need some activities to burn the extra calories
You are inspiring and beautiful thanks for your videos!
3:40 for the 1st answer
Very nice video & thank you for sharing
Thanks for you're helpful videos, and I'd like to ask you a question is there something specifically to focus in our diet to help with breastfeeding?
I would LOVE if you would share some favorite recipes with some of these thing in them - that would be so incredibly helpful! Is there a difference between “bone broth” and like chicken stock? I make my own stock at home when I can, using bones from a whole chicken and leftover veggie scraps. Does that count as bone broth?
Thank you, that is super helpful! Just one question. Are there foods that while they might be good for us we shouldn’t eat them because it would be too much for the baby? Like maybe it’s harder for them to process or they are full of allergens?
I'm a vegetarian so what is an option to bone broth?
Thanks to your videos, I was able to use all the knowledge I got from you and gave birth normally. ♥️
#IAmBuiltToBirth❤
Very helpful. Thanks
Would you recommend having vegetable/fruit smoothies? And do you have any recipes if so 😊 Thank you for all your videos they have helped me from being anxious and unsure about my upcoming birth to confident and relaxed😍
If you can do meal prep for pastpartum for new mum 🌹
Thank you so much!!!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I am having my 4th c section. For my last 2 births I have made Thermos full of bone broth for the 2 days in hospital. It also helps with having the first BM! Thanks for the tips!!
How has recovery been for you?
@@Muslimah393 It was hard but manageble!! I found balancing minerals helped alot
@@stephanier1336 aww bless I can imagine. Hopefully by now you're in some kind of routine to make it easy.
Very helpful tips! Just one question, can I have cold drinks too? Or does it affect me or baby during postpartum?😬 thanks in advance!
So glad I’ve found your videos! They have been helpful. We are having our first baby in early August ☺️ Will you be doing more videos for partners? I would love a video for the husband to watch and help him understand the process and things that can he can help with pre and post pregnancy. ☺️
So good to know! I'd love to make more videos on this topic! I'll do my best to get those to you soon!
Bridget Teyler Awesome!! 🙂
what to use instead bone broth as vegetarian
Your videos are amazing. Thank you
Vegan alternative for bone broth?
Freshly ground flax seeds are the best vegan source for omega 3 fatty acids - and full of fiber.
My friend is having a baby and I'm gonna cook for her for the next weeks so she can relax.
I know this is an old video and your likely not responding to comments... but any advice for a breastfeeding mama who's got a horrible appetite
And for vegan any tips? I can’t have bone broth. Thanks 🙏
there is an herbal tea that can help tremendously fine to recover from postpartum trauma "postpartum recovery tea" by secretsoftea.com. this tea is an organic blend of herbs that are known for their medicinal properties to heal scars, tumefaction, and swellings.
sandra green thank you but I live in NZ and the shipping it’s very expensive 😢
@@vlma1984 I checked it from the site, it needs $16 to deliver it to New Zealand. anyways good luck
Yes, as a fellow vegan I also don't want to consume any animal products. Look for good tips at the youtube of Ellen Fisher.
you are so helpful and great
Does is matter what kind of bone broth? Beef or chicken? Sorry I'm literally going to have my first baby in a couple of weeks so just getting my ducks in a row.
It doesn't matter! I like chicken broth better, but do whatever you like more! And congrats, mama... So exciting!
Carolina Munoz as long as its not powdered if you're nursing
I’m having Postpartum I can’t eat or sleep I be scared to go out in the store ☹️😔
This woman is smart 😍
Hi Bridget is it true that whatever mom eats while breastfeeding, it will also affect baby?
I love your videos. They really helped me during pregnancy.
What irritates me is that you talk about eating lentil, beans and oranges... I recall want to eat them, but when I do, my baby who I breastfeed, looks like she is going to explode.... And the acid from citrus fruit give her a red butt.... I feel really washed out sometimes, especially because I can't eat beans, chickpeas etc...
Does anybody know how I could help my baby be less gassy if I eat these foods?
thank you for the video. I am 3 month postpartum and after 2 weeks of delivery i got very bad hemmorroid and still its not healed. Its really tough taking care of a newborn and this pain everyday. please suggest some tips.I have almost tried everything from taking fibers drinking water used laxatives and creams for relief. But still its there😭
Almost 2 weeks PP. Been watchinh looots of your videos:). The one with the breathing technics really sticked to me and i used it during labour. I even showed my husband the technics so when he heard me doing the breathing in technic in order to push.....he knew i was ready to push without me even telling him anything. I could hear him telling the midwife ...."she wants to push!!" :)))). Sounds funny now....
Thank you:)
