Maybe it was for security reasons. Like if you have an accident you could slice a human in half. But I am not sure if thats the case. There must have been a legal reason.
Different style of video from your normal ones but I liked it. Thanks for letting me know about Vale. I live in the UK and haven’t heard of them before.
Respect bro. Killer video. 30hours to knock out a 8 minute vid is more patience than I've had in my collective 47 years of being on this planet kudos to you good sir. I wish you success
I literally liked your video the second you called me on watching the entire video!!!! Maybe if you didn't make such a good video, people wouldn't watch it so much. Did you ever think about that???? Probably not. Keep up the great work. I really enjoyed it lol
The first Boxster was slower than you can imagine. I drove one back in the day and my (then) stock RX-7 would smoke it stupid. And it wasn't just at the redline, it was all across the power band. This car, to be done properly would likely cost more than both a kit from Factory 5 (assembled and ready to rumble) or a nice stock Cayman, which looks 100 times better than this, it is actually a 100% Porsche and has a mid engine and a decent performance. I don't see it going anywhere. But I'm sure some will give it a shot.
Don't know about your imagination. Can only say I own a few Porsches. I was recently offered a 2.5L 986, cheap as chips, so couldn't resist adding it to my collection, as I didn't have any drop-top. It's not slow at all, it's a very decent car.
@@rashodreed233 This is interesting. I think the only person who doesn't understand is the one who does this and the one who wants it. But to each their own.
Great addition for a Boxster. Maybe a more powerful Subaru 6 swap. Seems to be popular with everyone on a budget. Don’t like the fin but agree a good wing would look awesome.
TROLL? I love Porsche/AUDI! This was a nice lesson on Homologation... i have a Honda RC51.. ISLE of MANN TT Race bike through Homologation.. And its EXCELLENT!
Hello did as you asked, and I appreciate the history lesson. Next, how about doing another video on this kit, re purposing a boxter could be quite the thing if truly available.
I own a Toyota mr2 and put about $3,500 in it. 300 hp turbo engine, new axels, new break system, new bushings, new suspension. You don’t have to go buy something new to have a little fun.
I liked the "European units" for price comparison. Lol. So in Canadian it will be around $17,500 which is a cheap enough buy in for a car that for not much more money spent building it compares favorably to lower end supercarsbin looks and performance.
when I was young when project gotham racing came out with the Xbox, I would always call the Boxter "The Kissy Car" because it for some reason in my brain looked like a kissy face from the rear
I'm wondering how that would look with a targa top. Maybe a 2-piece top might even fit in the front boot. ...if not a corset-ribbed soft top could be rolled up and easily fit in the rear boot.
Have you got a follow-up... with someone's project build? And... do you have any video of the new body kit doors, especially relating to ease of entry/exit?
Cool video 😎 I hope Vale sell a replacement dash to replace the awful Boxster one! 😖😅 Finless is definitely better. The fin screams "tacky kit car", and spoils a beautiful body 😊 I've subscribed! 🥳

Honestly, if my next job gives me enough cash, i might do that and drive up to weißbach, since its just mere 20 km from me and show that to the real porsche workers, to then see what they think of that
My god this is EXACTLY what the car industry needs.
The car industry needs a fiberglass kit car?
Are you serious buddy? Or is that sarcasm?

Yes sir your onto it. Bit if some guy wants to crank it up I reckon that fin may save his life ! Hopefully. But fat without the fin suits me.

Stick a fucken custom Jesko attack wing on it. Make the downforce absolutely insane.
Why not both?
Big WANGS

Side note; I seriously think they should make another 911 GT1. Hands down their best looking 911 from the 90s.
I actually liked the fin a lot. Not sure what about it was controversial but I’d definitely would want it if I did a build with this kit.

1996 GT1 = G.O.A.T.
Man, I would love to have that Boxster body kit. I wonder, would it be compatible with the 982 chassis....
Probably not, but your best bet is to ask them. They are probably aware of why it's not compatible and if it can be done with some extra elbow grease.
They state it can be fitted those models: 986, 981, 987. I believe the 981 is not so far away from the 982. But if you ask them, they will tell you.
Great looking kit with or without the fin! Nice design 👍

I might have the Porsche bug again...i dropped a v8 into my last 911...now have seller remorse, this kit is inspiring.
To keep a close to factory weight distribution the K20 or STI swap would be the best 🔥
The new GTS 4.0 is the ultimate sweet spot in the porsche line up
Me with wife, two kids and mortage watching this at 3 am
Same but without the kids💀💀💀
That flat six would sound better than that V8 with some unequal length headers on it
One minute into the video and I already love this guy
I like the fin it looks way better and it will stop people from putting insane drag producing wings
01:27 its White for me and when you say subscribe it has a colourful ring around it, awesome!
Nice Bodykit with the Fin!
The Fin makes it look Cool!😎👌
The Vale really looks like a Pfister Comet.
