- I found a cut sidewall last week, the tire still seems good, so I'm going to repair the gash and see how it holds up. This is also an easy on the road, middle of nowhere fix. The solution cost less than $1 and here it is.

Yup, they work great.
Sorry, mate, it's not an acceptable solution. We would only consider using flexible "rubber" cement on this type of repair. Super glue sets hard & is not pliable enough to stand up to the flexing of the sidewall. It's destined to fail.
Thanks for the suggestion, when/if the glue fails, I'll shift over to "rubber" cement.
Bike tyre cement would surely be better.
