    Hey chief, great video.
    I just wanted to check in with you to see how this camera has held up over the two years you have been using it? Any issues or glaring problems. Thanks!

    I bought a faulty trail camera from campark and this has been my experience trying to return it.
    I messaged them and told them the issues. (They have no contact phone number so it all has to be done by email)
    They said you have to run test on it first to determine it’s faulty. I told them I have been for three weeks already I been trying everything I can to see how I can get it to work reliably and it’s malfunctioning constantly. They said I can’t return it until they determine it’s faulty first. So they have me do test but the test they have me do is not the issue and they still won’t recognize it as being faulty after another two weeks of running more test on it and not working reliably. I can’t call them, I have to wait until they respond and I feel like I’m dealing with an AI operator because the response is so robotic. I’m tired of dealing with them, they should be the once working out the bugs not me. I’ve never ran across this when returning a faulty product with any other company. The camera is no good it’s going in the garbage and I’m never buying from them again.

    Bought this camera from your last video post about it. Seems to work well, but the micro card won’t import pics to my IPhone with my lightening plug in MicroSD card reader . Ideas ??? I tried some diff resolutions and things . Not sure what I am missing. The card reader does work with my other cameras . Problem shot that too ❓❓

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial

      I’m not sure why they’re not recognized? I do know some smartphone sd card readers can be finicky. I use a laptop to view my videos for that reason. Maybe someone else will chime in to help with your issue

    This is really a great idea! They have really loaded up that camera with features. I guess if the panel or internal battery go bad you’d just use batteries but hopefully it lasts for you! Good review and enjoyed seeing the Fawn, Char☀️🦌😊

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial

      The trail camera creates its own WiFi hotspot (no internet connection) that your smartphone can connect to via the app 👍

  • @VS-q
    @VS-q ปีที่แล้ว

    Could you compare TC06/TC07/T180? It's hard to see the difference because your TC06 was pointed half to the sky making incorrect exposure.. But looks like T180 video is still sharper during daylight? Do they perform similarly at night? Does T180 record audio as well? Thanks.

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial
      @HuntingFarmerOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      In my opinion the 06 has slightly better quality (day and night) vs the 180. With that said, I probably prefer the 180 because it still has exceptional quality and I love the solar option 👍

  • @korviniuskorax8454

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial
      @HuntingFarmerOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are very similar and after using both, I’d probably get the most reasonably priced option. There is very little difference between the performance of the two in my opinion

    New to trailcams. Does it operate by motion detector? Is removing the sd card another way to get the pictures and videos? Can the sd card be erased via a cell phone?

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial
      @HuntingFarmerOfficial  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This camera does operate by detecting motion (actually hear and motion). This particular camera allows you to view the pictures through an app (it’s not a cellular camera). I personally just retrieve the sd card to view the photos/videos. That’s the easiest way for me 👍

    I do hope Campark updates this Camera, and makes it with a replaceable lithium battery pack and replacement solar panel, or at least enables the use of an external solar panel. If the do that, it would makes this camera much more attractive.

    When you say WiFi, does that mean the camera emits its own WiFi signal your phone can connect to or does that mean you need to connect to WiFi like from your house internet/router to use the WiFi feature?

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial
      @HuntingFarmerOfficial  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The camera produces the WiFi signal your phone can connect to (when you’re close enough to the camera). This WiFi signal the camera emits is not connected to the internet…

  • @PBAdventures146

    Very cool camera with the solar panel. I'm just not sold on the wifi. I "think" I'd just rather quickly switch out the SD card than sit 50-60'away for minutes looking at my pics on my phone. What are your thoughts as the Camara guru. Maybe I'm missing something.

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial
      @HuntingFarmerOfficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. WiFi sales for the companies making the cameras have increased but I’m afraid it’s because people believe they’re buying a “cell cam”. I do like it as an aid to setup up my camera with the perfect view but that’s about it. No way do I think it’s worth much extra to have the WiFi option. Now if the WiFi could reach several hundred yards, then it might be a different story…

    I was always wondering how they work during windy conditions with moving trees, branches, leaves and a grass. Do these cameras capture all that and therefore waste SD card space and battery?

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial
      @HuntingFarmerOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching. These cameras are susceptible to false triggers like any other camera when something is moving or blowing in front of it. I’ve found attention to detail on my setups is the greatest defense to reduce false triggers

    Hey Dave. Great video! Technically challenged here…if the camera is 100 miles away, are we still able to view pictures and videos from an iPhone and iPad? Or can you only view if you’re within 50 feet or so from the camera? We’re looking for one that we can keep at our lot 100 miles away and review pictures and videos from the house, so if this camera doesn’t work for that and you have a recommendation please advise.

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial
      @HuntingFarmerOfficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! This camera will not/can not send pics or videos. You must look for a 4G (cellular) camera. These cams will take a bit of setup and require a data plan. They can be a little intimidating if you’re technically challenged 😁

    We are extremely disappointed with this camera. We have already sent back the 1st one, unfortunately not within the 30 trial period. We were sent another one and we are in the process of testing it in our backyard before installing it in our bush. We have it set up pointing at our bird feeders which gets a lot of action from squirrels during the day and raccoons during the night. We also have several 80 lb dogs which roam freely in our yard. it does not pick any of this up during the day or night. I have walked towards the camera from about 60 - 70 ft away and it does not get tiggered until I have walked past it at about 15 ft. I have also walked towards the bird feeders which are about 25 ft away and it picked me up and took the 5 pics which it was set for. I spent several mins filling up the feeders and no pictures were taken. Then I took several steps away from the camera and again it took the 5 pics as I walked away. A waste of time and money!!

    Dave, first time viewer and was very fortunate to stumble onto your website. Thank you for a great review. I have been looking for a Wifi-capable camera, but all I've found require one of two particular cellular carriers which I've dropped over the past 20-years for lousy service, so you're review gave me exactly what I was looking for. Also, loved the video and photos of the wildlife which you're blessed with. I live in a fair-sized town in FL and about the only wildlife we see are feral cats and an occasional possum, lizard, or gray squirrel ... yeah, real "wild"! I hope to see that fawn mature in future posts. Bless. (Yes, I ordered this camera using the link you provided. Thank you!)
