- This is the latest offering from Ceyomur, the CY95. It's solar powered with AA lithium battery backup. It comes with a 32GB micro sd card and has WiFi so the camera can be controlled from your smart phone.
The Video is 4K 30fps and the stills are 40MP (not 20 as mentioned in the video).

Thanks for the great review, Gary. My missus just bought me one for my birthday. Tried it out last night and quite impressed. I'm a photographer (construction/interior design) by trade, but don't have a clue with trail cameras. I would have preferred more choice of shutter speeds. The fastest 1/30 is a little slow in my opinion. Would also like to shoot in RAW, but that's expecting too much I suppose. Subscribed👍

Nice review. You are lucky to have such good locations near you. I did my review from footage in my garden and I agree with you the image quality is excellent. I was a bit concerned with how bright the LED floodlights are. I have footage of cats being very interested in the lights and I wondered how more skittish animals would react. I think you see a bit of that with those deer. They do look very much like a pair of eyes in the dark. I agree with you that a swivel on the solar panel would be good and so would being able to replace the lithium battery. I also found the app a little fiddly to set up but once done it was really easy to connect and use. Like you I think it's a really good camera with plenty of features for just under £100.
a separate or separable solar panel would be a nice feature, if the panel comes off the body and can be strapped to the other side of the tree, bungee cable would allow a fair bit of tree girth for the panel to body
Not this model but there are other solar trail cams that are separate solar panels. Google, eBay and Amazon to see what is available and suitable for your needs.

I noticed when you were showing the usb lead that you said it was a usb c but your particular cam is usb b with the d shaped plug. I have 2 of these cameras. One of each and one uses wildlife cam app the other uses game camera pro.

think the pics and videos only get downloaded into the App itself.... don't know if there is a feature to get the pcis and photos into the iphone camera roll itself.
Just watched this video Gary most interesting, do you know how far away you can view the camera pics and film through the WiFi, also through which phones.
The manual says 10 meters but i'm sure i've done it from further away than that. ios and android are supported.
Thanks for the review Gary. Really helpful. Do you think this camera is suitable for garden birds. I’ve set my camera up on a tripod next to a bird feeder and despite the mealworms being eaten the camera hasn’t captured any birds. It’s definitely filming as we’ve captured our chickens and cats.
I think garden birds are too small and fast for such a camera. It will capture big birds like crows, magpies and kites etc but small birds move too quickly, even if they manage to trigger the camera.
@@garyhuston Thank you. I thought as much having watched a few days of filming. We will reposition and hope to capture the hedgehogs, foxes and badgers that frequent our garden. Can you recommend anything suitable for garden birds?
@@louisedartnell737 I’m afraid I don’t know of anything for garden birds, they do do a small nest box camera but I think it’s just for viewing rather than recording. You might be able to rig one up on a feed table.
I used mine for garden birds as well as foxes squirrels and whatever else crosses it's path. Gets good pictures
Hi ,Great video - thansk for posting it. I got this camera last week - I dont think that we can download the pics and videos on Iphone photos? Please let me know if I am incorrect?
You are incorrect. Once you download to the app simply click share and select copy to photos. It's a very easy operation.

Hi I purchased one of these cameras, but when I go through the settings menu, Bluetooth is not shown on the screen. All the others are, but not Bluetooth%?
You can only turn it on or off, it's under settings just below password.
@@garyhuston that’s the strange thing. Bluetooth doesnt show on the drop down list in the menu on my camera, It’s simply not there, but is shown in the manual and your video. Can I ask one more question? Do you need to be close to the camera, with your phone, to make the connection and view photos and videos on the phone?

You don’t need to be that close but if you have thick walls between you and it then it might struggle. I sit in my office and view mine which is in my garden a good 40 feet away. It’s trial and error really.
Going back to the blue tooth have you tried updating the firmware? That might solve it or maybe they have done away with the option to turn it off.
Great camera but cannot get hardly anything with the evening video and camera .
Make sure your batteries are new, if they are depleted the night vision won’t work.
i am having a really problem connecting my iPhone 12 to the camera, any help would be appreciated
You need to tell me what is happening. Follow the instructions from about 18:00 in the video.
At the screen you push the + button my screen doesn’t do anything. Wi-Fi connected & cell service off like the screen says. IPhone 12 here also. Just spent an hour in the woods trying.
Have you got location services on? You need to I think.
