Wait tell me more. I got a guy friend who recently got divorced and is having a hard time with the ex, there are kids involved.
I don’t want to bang, but he wants to. I’ve known him too long and he’s like family at this point. He’s going through the first stage of life after divorce and she continues accusing him of some pretty shitty stuff. She said he raped her. I don’t want to see my friend in that light but I’ve been his comfort through the whole thing and I’m starting to see signs of manipulation from him, and even kinda rapey behaviours. He kissed me when I was struggling to pull away and tell him I just want to be his friend.
I don’t want ti be a deluded flying monkey for the ex wife, and jump on her accusations, but I also don’t want to get manipulated.
But what you wrote really struck me. He has been laying it on thick, everything he says is something to feel bad for him for.
It’s possible that just everything is shitty for him right now. And I’d hate to desert someone in that state but I’m starting to think maybe I should.

Yes, the control bit, I get that totally. He would leave me feeling so confused, he was all I could think about and he acted as if he didn’t care. Then he’d pop up and make it like he was doing me some kind of favour for ‘taking me back’

Cause they’re insecure and can’t trust someone will love them for them they don’t even love themselves.
I had a guy today trying to MANipulate my expectations down from a relationship to sex friends today. I told him to lose my number. He now has all the control all by himself. I’m not sure why all men act the same awful way, but it gets really old. They’re like some mass produced robot at this point doing and saying the same things over and over, and none of them are special, since none of them are original at all. I think I might have a heart attack and die of shock if I ever met a decent man who isn’t an insecure, control freak.

I'm working on trying to keep that distance. He has been trying to control and manipulate me for a looooong time. But he's been using me, mostly - everything on HIS terms. I usually give in. Since yesterday he's been calling maybe 50 times. Non-stop because he wants me to help him with money. I have been doing that but it's enough now. He hasn't kept his promises so I'm done. He doesn't believe it of course because I've always given in. It's VERY very hard to ignore him but it's the only way.

I needed this video because a guy at work used every body language and flirting tactics there is to get me interested and once I reciprocated and started liking him back I found out he has a girlfriend for months (that no one knew of). it happened to me some time ago and it was completely new and painfil...at the start I was soooo confused and then dignity mafe me step away...4 months after sutil messages to get sex from his part, and smooth rejections from my side made him realize I was not up for that and he changed the way to aproach, breakfast dates and daylight activities...after that he became super consistent and respectful...but cost me some tears cause i wanted to be with him but had to remain away for a while. your videos are great Alex...thx! ♥️

Good for you, I couldnt endure it I just told I wont anymore, because im not happy, cuz I know he dont want serious relship. So its 2 Months no contact of Setting and end to a situationship and nothing changed. He never changed, or made efforts. Only was very active for sex, anything else very blocking. I hope one day I will not even understand Why I liked him, because he did make me fall hard with his tricks. Still recovering from this alluring tricks.

I broke up with a man this morning that I’ve been seeing for three months and he made zero effort to show he was into me whilst telling me regularly he is into me and REALLY really likes me 😂. Whenever he sensed I was over it he’d clean my bathtub or do my dishes without asking, and make himself look like he is a real catch to make it harder to break up with him! Then when he had my interest again he’d revert back to pushing my boundaries and yes I felt confusion but I also trust my body repelled by his touch and that’s when I know he’s lying and manipulating me!

First of all, you cannot turn a manipulator into a good guy. A manipulator will look for another supply if he perceives you are a challenge. He is too selfish to change into a good person in most situations. I don't want to do mental gymnastics for a bad person, it is too exhausting & won't work. Just move on & connect with the right person who comes prepared to do right by you

If he’s manipulating you, he’s not interested in you as a human being-only as a human doing and what he can get out of you. They’re the same thing.
