Love the game when Marc starts out and says he doesn't like to count on luck, then luckily and by accident teleports on top of the units that are the biggest threat to him and destroys them all! Epic
I laughed at Thermy getting NPC tracked into talking about the weather for like 5 seconds and then snapping himself back out of it. Morn is a gentlesir for sure.
What a banger of an ending to one of my favorite series! That accidental teleport was the cherry on top but the whole thing was absolute cake. Hopefully we'll see more BC Mines plays on your second channel. GGWP!
I'm very sorry to see this series go already, definitely looks like you can push this further & I love the BC mine composition! That last game was quite the finale. Such a hard hitting build order and then the flawlessly executed spire hunt, denying it over and over! 🔥
This series was an absolute BANGER 😆 You could probably advertise more your live stream by reminding my fellow comrades that they still can watch you play some of those challenges on your twitch and Uthermal2 ^^ it will be missed on this channel haha I just can't get enough of it :D
Challenge idea: Tactical mules. 1. Set off banelings/mines. 2. Trigger friendly fire 3. Block workers from escaping as you mine drop. 4. Bait enemy to chase them into a random mine field.
I know I'm late but I really like this one. My idea for the challenge rules would be something like "CCs may only upgrade into Orbitals, No scans, mules may not mine minerals near friendly CCs".
To suggest a few new options... -Tow-Mode Terran, ie only dual mode units like vikings, siege tanks, etc -Alligator Turtle Terran, ie attacking with bunkers, siege tanks, any building or unit traditionally meant for defense.
Interesting how the system protects the lowranks against being screwed over by matchmaker. It was only 3-4 MMR against for the first three games. So it is a great learning opportunity that would cost you nothing even if you lose.
Had some thoughts on challenge runs. Sadly forgot a few of them. Bunker to Grandmaster. Can build any unit that can go into a bunker, but unless they are moving to a bunker they can't be moved manually. Likely exception for scouting reaper, and likely to be mostly bunker rushes I'd expect. But I feel like there are some interesting manipulations to the rules that could do some fun things. Maybe adding in widow mines as they are kinda static defenses. Marauder to grandmaster, likely with a second unit that can shoot up? Maybe widow mine? Cyclones seem like solid all-around units that could do well.
Me: *trying to execute my build properly for the 1000th time* Marc: *tries out a new variation of mine-BC and not only outplays the opponent, but just waches him die on the widowmines instead of controlling* :D
I have an idea for a really cool challenge that I think would be super super difficult but also would be really cool to watch because it's almost guaranteed to make it very very difficult to win and you will be likely to end up in the macro game more often than not. My rules: 1. No Scouting 2. No Attacking - only defensive play and reacting allowed, except for anything that comes on to your half of the map. So the goal for you is to capture your half of the map and react to the different attacks that you receive but the only way to win is to run out the opponeents resources or make them feel like you're so bunkered up that it's impossible to win. With no scouting and no attacking it will be super challenging and you might have to figure out the default 'best average build' using these rules. I think it's an awesome challenge and might be something you could do. I wonder if it could be possible to take this to grand master though. Maybe a little bit too hard?
Loved this series. Some epic games. Am sad to see it end already. Maybe you could consider making a rule that says if you loose 3 games in a row a series is dead and will therefore end. This could provide some more suspense and make us sweat it with you because we want to keep seeing it.
27:44 That's insane to me! He didn't see a single corruptor on screen so I was about to make fun of Uthermy... But then I noticed on the top right edge of the screen, shadows (and just a tiny miny bit of tails). It was on screen for literally less than a second, in the goddamn corner as well, who Tf looks there that fast ? But he still noticed... insane !
My last game, I was playing BC vs Zerg, it was late and I was on a bit of losing streak, so when I saw corruptors and a lot of hydras I got pretty demoralized and almost GGd. But after some descent micro, teleporting low-hp BCs back and bringing fresh ones in, I watched as 3 BC completely annihilated 12 or so hydras. I ended up winning with zero losses. TL;DR: Don't build hydras against BCs, kids
An English tip Marc: - ON purpose is like ON target, you did/hit what you were aiming for, it landed ON the mark (pun intended) - BY accident or BY mistake is like a bullet going BY, it did not do what it was meant to and missed. On accident is something you say a lot but which sadly does not exist 😉 I have been watching you since the famous Roach Ramp Nuke that Lowko highlighted in Ghost to GM. As someone who has learned 2 foreign languages I know how easy it is to make these sorts of mistakes if no-one corrects you. I could not hear it again without saying something. Love your videos, thanks for all the good times buddy 🫡
hmm .... 14:23 ish give or take, in the main base, some scvs seem to be following each other (persumably after repairing the bc) was fixed at 15:53 though because they were selected to build some depots :D
Not a multiplayer player myself. I'm wondering how Marc is always having SCVs do something, like build a structure or repair a BC, without (as far as I can tell) sending them back to the minerals after, yet they do go back. Can anybody tell me how this is done? Or am I just always missing the shift+click that sends them back?
Marc, can this combo be considered as the most successful? Can you post a list somewhere with the win-loss ratio of the previous challenges please or simply evaluate at the final episode how unexpectedly succesfull or expectedly unsuccessfull the challenge went. Or maybe just a separate video. Congrats in advance with 100k subs.
marc is scared of what im gonna cook up vs his next challenge >:)
ggs buddy ill see you at 6am ladder sometime next week
You really had to pull out the “So what about Stormgate line”. Absolute legend.
They were fun games, well played. 👍
😊
wp.
Right when I had to fold some clothes, I was blessed with a long one. Thank you Mark for being the best
If folding clothes blesses you with a long one, I’m gonna go do some laundry!
That's exactly what my wife said to his boyfriend. Except his name is David haha
@oilbleacher oliver I've read this a few times and I'm even more confused lol. 😅

The first opponent was a master. Great to see a positive attitude and fun gameplay from both players.

Gg Morn, you lived up to your namesake in game two!
Dear uThermal! Thank you very much for this series, as a zerg, only today, I had 3 free wins vs terrans who tried this build! (EU dia league).
We want more TH-camr battle matches! Hastem, Mana and Uthermal! Caster picks the challenge for the other 2 playing or spin the wheel.

Good natured in a loss shows character, always.

RIP gonna miss this challenge! This and PF rush have probably been my favorites so far! At least they will still be in rotation on the second channel
shoutout to morn for being such a good sport! pretty cool to see
Sickest teleport in history
Nice to see good sportsmanship on both sides, great series

You deserve 100k bro
And make 2v2 to grandmaster with random Ally
33:30 At your level, it is easier for an opponent to guess the moves you want to make than your mistakes.

Morn you are a legend.
Lizard brain took over for that Infestor teleport. 🤣
What a finale. And still found different ways to play the same style that were mind-blowing.
that thumbnail is legit, much love bro
I thought Ghost was my fav...
Then I thought PF was my fav...
Then I... wait, no. I loved this to death, but still, PF was my fav. :D
I feel for anyone getting memed by Marc. He's an absolute psychopath when he's playing and it's quite a fishbowl to find yourself so challenged in.
Best SC2 content in the World. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
Game 3: Marc goes ultra-instinct.
27:44 That's insane to me! He didn't see a single corruptor on screen so I was about to make fun of Uthermy... Love Morn! We need more of him.
Love seeing these games. Thanks for all the good vibes everybody
Marc lost his barracks/factory to being a silly goose, and didn't remake it. Take a shot.
Respect to your opponents. ❤. Always appreciated for gg's
Shout-out to morn for being an absolute darling despite two losses. ❤

Oh I am most definitely entertained by your videos. Keep em comin'!
This was an amazing series, Marc, you silly goose
I'd love to see a Viking centered challenge. I feel like you could make many enemies miserable with surprise servo landings.
That's kinda the Penguin Bros build already.
Woot!
Great series yo
Drank it all up out of my Uthermos (which im sure we would all buy :3)
Oops, accidentally killed all of his most important unit

The correct response to their Psych would have been a retort disparaging their mother.
battlecruiser is my favorite terran unit sad to see it going away, could try and do an air superiority challenge, just air units haha
I discovered that if you add Liberators to the mix, with range, then you are nearly unstoppable against Zerg.
what's the reason for placing the engineering bay then cancelling then building barracks at start of build
Epic series - GGs and thanks for the games
Can you do nydus to GM?
What Bob Ross called a "happy accident".
I dont even play SC2 (I played SC back in its day), but you make entertaining content! thank you
We should give a round of applause to Morn as well

Bring back more main content!!! U2 is good for a warmup but the long content is 👌
Archon to grandmaster where your ally leaves at the start lol
i never understood. If a barracks landed on a bunch of cyclones, all we would have is an intact barracks and a bunch of cyclone spare parts.
That teleport misstake, man...
Is there a tank mode only challenge?
Icon looks like a Babymetal member :)
That first guy was a chad lol
"its probably more of a macro game than the time i got planetary rushed" 🤣
Simply incredible
Thermy, please Immortal Phoenix to GM next!!!
hello again! !Mass Upgrades to GM !!!
LOL those lucky accident can get you hacker accusations
Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Painful to watch, impossible to look away. Damage incorporated.
Great games!
Game two was so freaking awesome lol
28 degrees is unbearably hot.
Let's go!
Look so easy when we watch him and then there is me😮
Morn is such a good sport
What is going to be that 100k challenge..we almost there
Where is thermy now?
Your in-game resolution is 1920 but you upload in 4K why????
Almost at 100k
WHY ARE YOU NOT POSTING
