Hey uThermal, I have a mechanics question for game #3. When you had too many workers, you pulled them and sacrificed them to the opponent. Would there had been an opportunity to use the extra scvs to take a better engagement before throwing them away at the opponent? As in using them to repair the battlecruisers while attacking. I know there was mass bc disruption available for opponent which makes the idea difficult to use (also probably enough vikings to one shot bcs), but still seems like a possible opportunity to up your chances of winning. Great job anyhow lol
This was so good! Those moves back and forth with the BC's in the third game were really good, along with the teleports. I hope that guy chokes on his own salty tears, haha!
Looking at all the production in his main base at the end of the last game made me wish you could have teleported in there to just destroy all his starports to slow the flow of reinforcements to his Viking / Raven composition. But I guess economically starving him works better so he keeps pumping minerals into those units

Avilo's the only on dumb enough to think someone 100x more popular would take the time to scout him out and intentionally queue into him xD Also, a lot of us would rather you drop the challenge restrictions and smash Avilo with your best play!
hello again! i had a thought. since it is widow mine bc, build an armory automatically with your fusion core so that your mines are always invisible by the time the bc arrives - edit: i believe tech plays a big role, so i think to fight more efficiently you cant skip either the stealth mine or the drilling claws - dbl edit: also, with the armory out early, you can pump out that plus one attack almost at the same time as your second bc
sure, but those all cost money and worker time. it's not like he's just choosing not to have cloaked mines as early as possible because he didn't think to
in this build I find it best to min dump on marines against cyclones. no medivacs or armor upgrades on the marines (just likno armor upgrades on the bcs, since armor does nothing against spell damage (lock-on) and spells (interference matrix) and aa missle doesn't increase cyclone dps that much. Stim the 3-0 no medivac marines with the 3-0 bc's. Also a single raven and single ghost augment the bc/mine strat with the marine min dum. a single aa missle boosts marine dps for the short time they are alive with no medviacs, and if you corner them, bcs with aa missle delete everything the ghost forces him to waste time splitting ravens (emp threat), giving you more time to yamato the visually spread out ravens while they are useless in transit to their split location
Aviloisterrible had it all going for him this game. Counter-build, knew exactly what to expect, even got your reaper early. But, as Beastyqt once said, the longer the game goes, the higher the chance that a pro player will beat a non pro. Avilo made it into a long game, and expectedly lost.
Imagine if some Terran mechanic got the idea to weld a couple widow mines to the BCs themselves. Better yet, just exchange the laser spray for widow mine missiles.
Hey when he built the sensor tower super aggressively u immediately sent ur units there to deny the info. I think if u build one like that on an opponent you can time an attack on their base on the other side of the map when they move their army to kill it. It's also great bait for widow mines
Delicious salt You're the guy who got PF rushing to 6k, does he really think you need to stream snipe to win? xD Also holy shit dude you're so close to 100k, ALMOST THERE! preemptive gratz!
I foresee base trades being a big part of this series when the higher players come earlier to kill you. Fortunately widowmine BC is a pretty good comp for weird base trades!
There's few things in life that are more satisfying than watching a delusional man-child who has been banned on almost every platform project his emotions on to other and still get laughed at. That BOY will never learn his lesson. This is how he will be until the day he dies. Otherwise, that second game was amazing! Loved the comeback and the bizarre game play. Keep it up! Best part about all this, you never strayed from your strategy. MAJOR kudos for that. Takes cojones of steel to do that. Especially in the face of the mech "god". 🙄
when you run widow mines into a mineral line, why don't you burrow 1-2 mines beforehand on the other side of the nexus cause they always pull probes that way
With regard to the SCV question, I think what would make the most sense would be if SCVs moved in predictable ways. Every supply depots are identical so SCVs should move in the same way when they build each one of them.
Avilo scanned himself to death. You got him so paranoid that he could not stop him self from scanning. He didn't attack soon enough to stop you from getting so many BCs and combined with his constant scanning is why he lost.
hello again haha! btw, at some in the second game, you're wondering about whether an observer is worth the yamato, and i think yes, because stalkers can hit up if there's sight, so potential 10s x hits of blink stalkers vs one yamato? what do you think?
Would be cool if, only once per second or so, you could trigger the building SCV to move to a different position without getting to choose where that position is. Kind of halfway in between getting to fully micro it and not having any control the way it is now.
One of the series beastyqt never finished was 200/200 to gm: anything goes, but you can only commit to attacking after you have sacrificed all workers and have only army supply left.
Don't take it wrong way, but I love how you are losing. I appreciate in general how you compliment your opponents whenever they do something impressive, but this lost was really great sportsmanship.
The game against Avilo was amazing. Shows that even when playing against a blind hard counter, supreme strategy will prevail. Also squeezing salt from the BM lord is always wonderful.
I told you the first time he hacked, and that is the only way he knew to do all the scans he did in the first and in this last game... yeah, I was watching his movements, and without scans and you weren't in the sensor tower range, he mirrored your movements.
Personally I would prefer chat off if the person is being toxic, and I think you might be more comfortable with that as well :P but good on you to keep your composure, great video

a single aa missle boosts marine dps for the short time they are alive with no medviacs, and if you corner them, bcs with aa missle delete everything
the ghost forces him to waste time splitting ravens (emp threat), giving you more time to yamato the visually spread out ravens while they are useless in transit to their split location
Aviloisterrible had it all going for him this game. Counter-build, knew exactly what to expect, even got your reaper early. But, as Beastyqt once said, the longer the game goes, the higher the chance that a pro player will beat a non pro. Avilo made it into a long game, and expectedly lost.
Marc, why did you research Banshee cloak in the last game? 😀
It finishes around 13:00 game-time.
Those Avilo games are such a treat 😆Unironically love 'em
that last game really showed how u wait for just the right moment to pounce!!! I'm always convinced i have to attack right away🤗
That last game was so impressive. I love that the widow mines still had a really important role right to the end
Since zerg and protoss don't have to worry about protecting a worker I like the idea of having a little more control over the scv while building.
being able to micro them around the thing they're building would be great, even if it paused the progress.
"Easy to clickbait"
I see BC, i click
Delicious salt
You're the guy who got PF rushing to 6k, does he really think you need to stream snipe to win? xD
Also holy shit dude you're so close to 100k, ALMOST THERE! preemptive gratz!
Youre god damn right you dont need help with your clickbait. That thumbnail was on point!
Exposed! You are going to Blizzard JAIL!
Didn't notice it at start but your photo on the preview so freakin fits
you should tell them ''all your base are belong to us'' when they toss salt lol
Avilo is the Charlie Zelenof of SC2
When i learn this BC build i swear im going to use it every game lol. BC's are my favorite unit but i never ever use them bc i dont know the build lol
Sure high APM, build orders, whatever, 11:22 is what makes a real pro IMO 😂 imagine being on the other side of that 😂
EMOTIONAL DAMAGE
How nice of this man to give you content.
thermy you are exposed! lol :D good episode, really love the longer ones, thanks for all your hard work brother. stay awesome ! :)
ive never seen such an intense game in a while now. you were hard countered but outplayed that other terran every time. incredible
Nooo Stormblessed down! RIP Kaladin
My friend would love you. He has journey before destination and the symbol of the knights radiant tats
Wheres teft when we need him!? oh wait... :c
Coming after him like Moash
Turtled in his base the whole match making vikings and wonders why he loses.
That last game was SOOOOO impressive man you completely overwhelmed him
i see uthermal, i like uthermal
I foresee base trades being a big part of this series when the higher players come earlier to kill you. Fortunately widowmine BC is a pretty good comp for weird base trades!
I have high cholesterol from so much salt consumption. Thanks a lot Marc XD
this is great popcorn content :D
He didn't see that there was no red dot.... Nice games! (including losing one). Kudos!
why does avilo keep sniping you if it just makes him so angry every time?
This Avilo guy thinks he's Artosis in his own head or something.
I think I enjoy watching games where Avilo is defeated more than any other games, or even other content on youtube. I love it so much.
great video ! I would just like to know how he saw the mines at the start
"This guy is clearly sniping me with BC widow mine challenge so I can blind counter him but I still lose !#$%&ASDFGHJKL" - Avilo probably
The game against Avilo was amazing. Shows that even when playing against a blind hard counter, supreme strategy will prevail. Also squeezing salt from the BM lord is always wonderful.
Every time you beat Avilo it is soooo satisfying 😂😂
I told you the first time he hacked, and that is the only way he knew to do all the scans he did in the first and in this last game... yeah, I was watching his movements, and without scans and you weren't in the sensor tower range, he mirrored your movements.
It kills me to see Marc not getting drilling claws fast in a WIDOW MINE bc challenge
Personally I would prefer chat off if the person is being toxic, and I think you might be more comfortable with that as well :P but good on you to keep your composure, great video
