everyone's memory is better than they think. we only note failures! somehow this morning your memory recalled every detail of who are you how to get up get dressed get going make a snack etc etc and all we remember is that at one point we'd forgotten where we put an umbrella?! Unfair. Love your memory! Fun fact: memories work better if you believe in them! What we see in Thermie is an example of Expert Memory. That's where *in a person's field of expertise* they have a seemingly freakishly good memory. I bet he still forgot to mail that invoice for lawnmowing, though. Years ago I took up cab driving. My town has 500 streets, and when I started, I was absolutely sure I would never get them in my head, yet six weeks later someone could ask "where's thingy avenue?" and I'd be able to say "oh, it's off wossname, just past some big trees", and then think "holy shit....i DO know where all these places are?!". Pro tip: If you find you have forgotten something, say to yourself "mm, it'll come to me, it always does" and get on with something else. Soon enough it will just pop into your head and when it does, remember (lol) to pat your memory on the back. Also, google-fu is kinda relevant, you have to give your memory the right search terms. Say you're in the lounge, and you decide you need the scissors, from the kitchen. You walk into the kitchen and, uh, duh, um, wtf did I want in here??? So you ask your memory "what did I want in the kitchen?" and the answer is Nothing. You literally never wanted anything in the kitchen. You were in the lounge when you wanted something. So your memory, truthfully and literally, tells you "nope, nothing boss, you never wanted anything in here". If you ask yourself "what did I want when I was in the lounge?" instead, your memory will say "oh, scissors...". And you can be amazed and pat your memory on the back. Love your memory and it will serve you well!

Yeah, it's interesting that there are so many people who don't play SC2 but watch the game. But I think that Starcraft Co-op is worth playing even as a casual player, not nearly as stressful as 1v1 and it's very fun with a friend.
Haven't played SC in over a decade and prob will never again, but these videos are like nectar from the gods.

Actually this challenge can be altered to be an ultimate "can you see me". Attack only with already cloaked units, cloak everything before engagement, cannot burrow widowmines in the opponents sight.

One piece of advice for the newbie viewers, you need uThermal's god tier micro to make this fun builds work. Otherwise it's a huge handicap and you'll become free mmr wins in the end.
In Starcraft: Brood War, I remember doing a one SCV, Barracks before Supply Depot build to counter early 6 Zergling rush; I don't remember it causing any serious economic issues.
Now it seems like you start with 12 SCVs in Starcraft II, but I wonder if it is possible to build one SCV, Barracks, Supply Depot, in that order and still do some sort of aggressive build.
Maybe you could call it... Worker's Union.

I think there could be a couple of nice non-walkable spots for invisible snipers and nuke guidance operators around the maps.

This build in game 1 that your opponent did is very common in diamond. Tons of Terrans just start rallying their units across and drop them in my main.

Hi Marc! I know it's not ideal but couldn't you just make a bunch of turrets agaisnt mutas? Guess that doesn't help too much on the attack though
I have an idea. Play against low rated players, like bronze or silver but you can only use your mouse, no keyboard no mouse hotkeys, just your right and left click.
That would cut the apm in half if not more. It would make a huge difference.

here's maybe an interesting series idea: a lot of your viewers are total sc2 bronze 1 noobs. you could pick one or a couple of people to commit to X episodes of coaching and Y hours of practicing a week and see how far they can go. this is motivated by wondering how far i could go myself as someone who could never break out of bronze during the heyday of sc2 as a very casual player. it would be cool to see someone who couldn't get past silver 10 years ago hit platinum in 10 episodes or something. would be a very low level of play though and would be hard to find people willing to do this.

2 scvs 2nd game in first gas was intentionally or accidentally?
Not sure if this is viable but could be a fun. Build a sensor tower on their side of the map on highground or something and put widowmines in the path they'd take or on top of the ramp so when they come to kill you can get some free kills. If you're really on top of it you could even pull some widow mines away if you see its not a bunch of units coming.

I'm not a very good player, but I'm gonna write my thoughts anyway - maybe 5% of it will make sense and be somewhat useful, and not be obvious.
Since your whole army is cloaked, going for enemy detectors seem to be often good choice - especially on the begining when enemy does not have many of them. In the late game enemy will most likely make a lot of detectors so at that time this may no longer work out.
I also think that all of those 3 units are often bad in a straight up fight, but they are great in harassment, so instead of counterattacking, a mass harassment seem to be good option (in the way you did in the last game).
I have also some unit "Combos" in mind:
Widow mines and Banshees - before sending Banshees to harass a base position some widow mines on the direction enemy army will be comming from - idea beeing that the Banshees are bait. In worst case scenario, even if enemy sees widow mines that means a bit more time for Banshees to roam free.
Banshees and Ghosts with nukes - after you harass base with Banshees many enemies will build there static defense to feel safe... and then it becomes better place to nuke (at the very least you kill static defense)
Ghost with nuke and Banshees - after you nuke base with Ghost there is usually no more static defense there so it is often good place for Banshees to go. Even if you killed all workers, you can still try to kill base that is weaker by 300-500 HP.
You also say that you don't need Banshees in the late game. But when you wanted to counterattack I think some Banshees would have been nice (you had 2 or 3 that were doing good job). At the very least they should be best at killing buildings.
At the end of my comment I would like to say that have a tons of fun watching this series. It's my top 2 along with a Sky Terran. At some point I did propose this exact challenge in a comment. Something like "It's most likely bad idea but can you make Banshees and Ghosts maybe with some Widow Mines". I don't know if it was my comment, but anyway I'm really glad that this series exist and for that THANK YOU.

It is funny. I love these vids. But I left SC2 because of widow mines. I’ve played it for over 4 years back in the days. I remember them announcing Ultralisk burrow-attack or something back then; didn’t come through; long time. It was a great game but that unit killed it for me and so many more. I know „git gud“ they always said - but nah that killed SC2 sadIy - I am still enjoying watching games.
