    Just what I was looking forward to change the core in my 76 GMC c25. Straightforward and easy to follow. Thanks so much!

    Clear, concise and easy to understand. You have a knack for instructional videos. Been working on my new square body for a couple months now.

    Thank you for the tips. I had a bad coolant smell in my truck but it would come and go. Great tutorial thanks again. God bless

    Does your dash have vents in it ? Any ductwork going to them?

    • @joeculver6227

      No vents in my dash. To my knowledge, only trucks with A/C have dash vents.

    Those nuts made of sheet metal are called

    does it trap air into the cooling system?

      I don’t think so. It seems to start working 100% as soon as it’s topped off after being run just a minute or two.

    So I’m doing this to mine now and have the same issue with the new one being smaller. How did that work out for you? Any issues with the air being a lil cooler since some air is going around the smaller core?

    • @joeculver6227
      @joeculver6227 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I cut up some thick mud flaps layered together with rubber cement to fill in the spaces around the core. It seems to work well; the air coming out of the vent is always very hot.
