      Very well custom belt you made there Sir.
      I am a very large man in size and height. Any how, I am interested in a custom sized belt of that type you have manufacturer there with your great skill.
      I've looked at your webpage and not find belts for sale.

    Well this was certainly very helpful, thank you for making this video.
    I'm currently making Armor for Live Action Role Play instead of belts but thanks to you I now know how belts are made. Now to work out how to translate the process of making a belt into the straps for securing the armor I'm making in place without accidentally making said armor useless (leaving some form of semi-large gap) in that area. Would it be too much to hope for that you happen to have a video on that sort of topic by any chance?

    This is so strange and helpful, you released this video on the day that I decided to make myself a belt! The problem is, your belt looks so much better than mine! I can’t compete. I’m not too concerned though, your stuff is just remarkably clean, and the details make the product. Either way, I love your company, and you’r content brother, thanks again

    Great tutorial..8:45 any reason why you did not skive the short section that wraps around the buckle? Most belts have that short piece thinner so it doesn't protrude out when in a pants.. keep up the awesome work!

    When making a bell for XXL or bigger, use a name plate at the back to join two belts together…this will give you length easily. Also it makes three pieces that are better lengths to work with. Good luck 🤞 and enjoy the process.

I bought some heavy leather already dyed black that was on sale at Tandy in Nashville. I made myself those 2 belts and then one for my daughter. okay, 3 for my daughter because I kept making them too short and she is bone thin. Not sure how I did that. Parker, Love the videos.
    My current project i'm trying to do my first wallet all by hand. Sort of the size of your No 52.
    But wow mines thick. It tried hand skiving the interior pieces of my 4oz leather down but it's a bit of a brick.
    What thickness of leather do you use for your interior? And are you buying it that thick or splitting it somehow?
    I must say as well with all the hand cutting that I certainly see the value of your clicker press.

    • @whitandpark
      @whitandpark  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      haha yes the clicker press is VERY nice. I usually use 3-4oz leather for our wallets. It would be pretty difficult to hand skive an entire piece of leather though and keep it consistent and clean. So I wouldn't recommend trying to skive the whole piece unless you can get your hands on a band knife splitter or even a bell knife skiver. My best recommendation would be to either use 3-4oz on the whole thing or buy two different hides. Like at tandy you can buy their natural veg tan tooling hides in any weight. So you could buy one at 2-3oz (for the interior pieces) and one at 3-4oz for the exterior. Hope that helps!
