You make leather making so easy. I’ve always wanted to make shoes for my baby and other leather goods but I’m too intimidated to start. I’ve also got a cricut to help cut stuff. I don’t have any of the tools yet. Thanks for this tutorial and links to purchase the tools from. I hope to stop procrastinating and actually tackle one project without being intimidated. Kind of surprised you didn't go for an easier belt option like a ring belt...if you went with fittings and embelishment, it would still save time without the keeper and the majority of the holes to punch

You can use a super skiver, they're usually pretty cheap. Or if you have a skiving knife.
Did you mention what4 weight leather you were using? it almost looks pink, which is kinda awesome
8-9 0z! it's natural vegetable tanned leather. So it'll darken over time
