Nothing wrong with the boss rushes at all in Mega Man games. Nothing wrong with them at all! If it wasn't for the Robot Masters having weaknesses to your special weapons, then it would have been a very tough to get through. Thank god for that rock-paper-scissors format, am I right? :D
I like how the super weapons in the SNES X games get progressively weaker but easier to use. The Hadoken can only be used on the ground, you need full health to use it, and it's not easy to hit anything with it, but it kills anything in a single hit. The Shoryuken also has to be used on the ground and you need to be at full health, but it has a much better range of attack, however it doesn't kill on one hit unless you hit the enemy correctly. The Z Saber can be used while jumping, goes across the screen and can be used anytime, but it doesn't kill anything in a single hit.
@@toxic12sfan82 I know it's legacy version, but even in rookie hunter mode you take damage when making contact with hurt boxes. He did not get damaged when getting bodied. In rookie hinter mode you would at least get the hit stun! You can see that in Bubble Crab and Sigma fights. The hit stun is missing.
If you kill Wire Sponge, he splits in half. You'd be using an "upper-cut" on him with Shoryuken!
Damn, only takes one hit and surprised it even worked for Sigma too! Never was able to scoop up the dragon punch. 🔥 💯
Man, I miss when Capcom included secrets like this in their games, how long until Chris Redfield gets a suit of Dr Light armor?

Doing this right means not fighting Zero.
No Serges or Violen?
By the time you get it you can't fight them anymore.

Ironically, that moves supposed to be a award for people who got everything and almost made it to the end (but the internet nullifies the achievement)
