Finally beat the game today! I beat x1-x6 because of your videos. Thank you so much! At 5:25, you mentioned using Spinning Blade to beat Vile, but following your order here, it's impossible to do it because Crush Crawfish was your last stage and I can't go back to beating Vile after that. Instead, I used Ray Splasher to beat Vile and he won't appear later. I almost didn't get the gold armor because I missed the "full health" part. I know you mentioned that but it was too quick for me. haha. I didn't get the saber from Zero because I wanted to finish the game with Zero in it. That's it. Thanks again!
Trust me, if you skip to an X6 guide the views will definitely improve. The game also requires upgrades to beat the game anyway, so for beginners a guide like that would be very useful.
That's a really good point. As soon as I read this, I realized "Yeah, I'd watch that. Maybe I could finally finish X6, which stands as the only mainline Mega Man game I haven't beaten."
I love this game, but I have to say it. "This game is a very good game if you play it in a highly specific way where you have to beat the majority of the Mavericks with nothing but the X buster."
For 100%: Rhino, buster Bilzzard, buster Tiger, buster Beetle Seahorse Hornet Catfish Crawfish (Visit Vile) Revisit Beetle, revisit Rhino. Yeah, it has the added Beetle revisit, but the heart is right there at the beginning of the stage, and it's faster to do the revisit than fighting the box miniboss in Hornet anyway (doing Beetle before Hornet skips the miniboss), which is why that is the route speedrunners use for 100%. So, you're welcome; out of 8 bosses, you fight three with the buster, which is less than half, so the opposite of majority. It is a very rigid game, though, yea. But all of these games always only have that one most optimal route anyhoo, so I don't see how it's a big issue.
Ah, I love X3, definitely one of my favorites in the series. I usually like to start with Crush Crawfish, but I think I'll try this order next time I do a run

X3 is my personal favorite X game followed by X4 and X2, there's a lot of depth and variety in the item collection that makes it stand out for me. I usually get the ending with Zero because it's cooler, but i have to admit that at least the "bad" ending where Doppler dies at least explains why he isn't seen in the later games despite being cured.
I think what people mean about the backtracking in X3, is that there’s to many items in the game that need more than one upgrade to get. The biggest example is that if you want every item in Volt Catfish’s stage, you need to visit Tunnel Rhino, Neon Tiger, Gravity Beetle and Blast Hornet to get a charged gravity well to get the body upgrade and the ride armor to get the sub tank.
@@CrashGordon94 Rental difficulty - Designed to hook children who were renting it from Hollywood Video/blockbuster by being fun, hidden with secrets, and the main chapters are pretty achievable to do in a single sitting but the final stages and final bosses are set up to be so punishing and steep in difficulty that it will take multiple weekends of rentals to beat and master the final stages and the password system not saving your sub tank and life counter was also designed to feed into the time on the rental that children would have to waste to get kitted up for the final stages.

Those who would get it for Christmas were, back in the day, a special caste. The kids everyone was jealous of and would have friends over to their house to play the game, which they would either beat in front of their friends and prove how cool they are or their friends would run into the “rental difficulty” as they can come over to their friend’s house but they would probably need a sleep over or two to finally beat it without the help of their friend that owns it. Weeks of workshopping as a team if the friend who owns it still Hasn’t beat it either.
Great video! This is how I've been playing X3 on pretty much all of my subsequent playthroughs, only thing is I do Crawfish third. While it requires one more backtrack than doing his stage last, you also get Spinning Blade early on, which is VERY powerful.
They will be a good resource for people who are interested in 100% the games. Esspso with the x collection being a thing. People are gonna miss the quality of your guides when they have to switch to someone else's videos. Either that, do what you want, maybe work on these scripts on the side. Would love to see coverage of fan games in the future. Megaman x corrupted has been teasing me for years.
I CAN'T AGREE WITH YOU on X3 being good. This game is AVERAGE AT BEST. The music and graphics are better than X2, but the difficulty level is a sign of poor game design. The quadruple crushing walls in Doppler Stage 1 move FASTER in the Legacy collection and I died over and over and over. Sigma's forms are overpowered and the damage he gives - even when you have Golden Armor - is terribly balanced.
Now it's been a few years, and lotsa views later, I hope you'll reconsider doing these videos for X4-8, or at least up to 6. I played all these games blind first time through recently, then watched your retrospectives, and now replaying them using your guides for a different experience. Very much enjoyed them, wish I could continue the experience with the rest of the sequels. Cheers J, love the vids.
Did you miss a heart? I noticed one in Tunnel Rhino's stage behind a boulder, I'm just starting my run so not sure what will get to it later, but it's there and didn't see it in your video. Anything else you missed? With the Legacy Collection it'd be cool if you did sort of this, but also an achievement hunter, see if it's possible to get most if not all achievements in each run. I know you said you didn't want to continue this series, just a suggestion, a completionist guide, thank you for your videos they were very helpful on my journey. Edit: Oh my bad ok I skipped around that part.
Wonder why ppl say this is a heavy-backtrack game, with careful routing you only need to backtrack once and with Zero Project, it cuts down to none. But good video for guide J, can't wait to see what are the best routes for X5, X6 and X8.
Thanks for the run through of this game! I've never had too much of an issue with this game. I just remember taking lots of damage & that the music loops very quickly in most stages. But I still like it. I think I'll enjoy it much now with this walkthrough of the items! Thanks J! I just beat Mega Man X3. I used your review here partly to help me get the items. It needs explaining,, beforehand, not to get any upgrade chips AT ALL. Makes more sense to get the Golden Armor because you absolutely need it. The Double Dash, the self-healing and the Hyper X-buster all are damn near necessity to beat Kaiser sigma. I'm not good at dodging tracking-attacks and I end up using 1 Energy tank for Sigma form 1. Sigma form 2 used up the next 3 tanks. I managed to beat the game with just 15 health points left. Sigma is OVERPOWERED - and even with the golden armor you lack the defensive strength to not get killed easily.
Not sure how widely this is known, but if you don't have the Buster upgrade and go to Volt Catfish's stage, you can execute a neon jump/upward air dash to get the armor upgrade without even needing to go to Neon Tiger's stage beforehand. Memory is fuzzy on this, but it totally works and is a common trick used in speedruns.
Love the vid, x3 for me had the best music out of all the series. Blast hornet stage is just fire even to this day. Gonna try your walk through on my next playthrough to see.
I loved this series, as I have already played through the X games many times and this series has made me rethink how I play the games a bit in a good way. And because of this, and a new play through of X3 I managed to see how damn good it was from when I first played it. I’d love to see you continue to X4 or the future games at some point but yeah. Good stuff
Lame way that it happens aside, I actually prefer the Zero-less ending as Dr. Doppler gets a more satisfying redemption. Also, it's kind of odd to have the narration talk of X having to eventually kill Zero when they're standing next to each other. Anyway, X3 is my favorite MMX game for how much you can OP X, the first time that Zero's playable (even though it wasn't executed all that well) and the gimmick with the side bosses creating different endgame challenges, plus its music is pure titanium. X2's a technically superior game, but it just doesn't have X3's sheer presence.
Excellent video! I just saw this now, and I'm sad that I had missed it before. I agree with you that X3 is a good game, and I feel that it has now become underrated over time. Maybe it's not as strong as X1, or even X2, but it's way better than X5, X6, and X7! Also, I do agree that this game is a little trickier to develop a "limited/no backtracking" route, and that finding such a route does make the game much more fun. Randomly whipped this out and used your guide as a route for a buster only run, super helpful. But man, Buster only is super annoying.. And it's a shame, because the bosses are kind of fun to figure out their patterns and what not.. But the levels and enemies take so long to get through if you game over-- I wish the collection had some sort of save state to have let me practice them easier.
Weird bit that J didn't mention, but you can't fight Vile if you beat every Mavrick before him. So if you follow this guide beat by beat, you fight TR, BB, BH, NT, TSH, GB, VC, CCF. Then you can't get Vile's weakness before you fight him, and going through this order and killing Crawfish last just locks you out of his fight as well as getting the Z saber.
Last night I finally beat this game without any upgrades, something I never thought would be possible when I initially did this in X1 and X2 just because of how chaotic Sigma's first form is. But it turns out the pattern of his horizontal fire blasts always come out in the same order. You have to watch out for his shield, cause during my practice runs he Captain-America'd me a couple of times before I got the muscle memory down. But ultimately, once I finally got everything down for both forms, he was way easier overall than X2's final bosses, even with Zero factored in (people who have never played without Heart Tanks/Sub Tanks/Armor Pieces won't know this, but Sigma and Wire Sigma are super freaking hard in X2 without all that stuff, cause they can each kill you in two or three hits). I did play on the Zero Project, but I don't think
I’m not going to lie, I used to be a huge X3 hater (to the extent I would have said it was the worst X game bar X7) but man this video really streamlined the collecting process for me and made running through the game infinitely more fun. I’m so X3-pilled now and I’m even getting genuinely good at running through the game with some pretty fast times. I know this comment will fade into the void of the internet but this video is awesome stuff.

When you beat Blast Hornet before Gravity Beetle you may have free access to the heart piece. But backtracking to it later is less of a time problem than fighting the carrier that will appear otherwise. So I prefer backtracking to the heart piece in Gravity Beetle's. Plus one less Maverick I need to dispose with regular X Buster means a bit more time saving. Overall this guide was really good. When I found out there is lots less backtracking than I had it remembered the game became way more fun to explore over and over again.
Neon Tiger is actually pretty easy. His AI isn't programmed to maul you down but to irritate you at best. Yet you can totally skip the irritation. Just stand on the left where you enter the boss room and keep shooting at him. Sometimes he will leap to the upper left corner. Then you slide to the right and he will leap back to the ground on the right as you slide back to the left. Keep shooting. Most of the time he will just stand there and his laser shot pattern is easy enough to avoid.
Never mentioned Volt Catfish's body part requires an Up-Dash to get 4:33 Wish Gravity Beetle's stage and Full Health for Gold Armor was emphasized better 4:096:00 Arranging words like Gravity Beetle before Blast Hornet would avoid confusion for future scripts. 4:09 Footage choices and talking so fast can make big things seem like minor details. It happens so quick then right to the next topic. 4:00 I appreciated the guide all in all thank you very much
Maybe it's cheating to use this guide to help me beat X3, but it helped me like it a lot more. I enjoy it much more than 2 (but X1 is still gonna be my favorite of the three). I swear the only thing I remember about 2 is Wire Sponge, and I feel if not for this video I'd give X3 similar treatment. I am not playing these games back to back, and playing along with this order definitely helped me complete this game for the first time. Thanks for sparking my interest back into this series!
Should probably try speaking slower and explaining things more clearly. Nowhere in the video it is mentioned vile is missable if you complete all the stages. Also multiple mentions of mentioning killing vile with his weakness but no real explanation on why and what changes.
Agreed, it actually happened to me but I was using save states inbetween levels so luckily I didn't have to reset the whole game but if I had to, hoo boy, I would've rage quited. 😅😅
After the last marathon, we can say you mastered the theory but needs some more practice. But keep these guides coming! Maybe something with the zero or legends series next would be cool: these games have loads of secrets and collectibles
Personally, I recommend saving the backtrack to Tunnel Rhino for last, as the Head Parts giving you a map of the stage every time you enter any of the eight Maverick stages is really annoying.
My Guide: -Hit the Rhino First -Kill the Bee or the Buffalo, next, but kill the other one immediately after -Take on the Tiger, and then the Beetle -Vivisect the Vile and then the Catfish -Rush back to the Rhino for a spell -Crush the Crawfish or Sink the Seahorse There. Only 1 stage that's backtracked on, and I have most of the weaknesses in tow
I love the megaman x games i knew where all of the heart tanks sub tanks and capsules in x1 but i can say x3 is a good game and is one of the more harder games and i remember playing x1 x2 and x3 and just doing any way but i wasnt really good so thank you for making this vid and all of the x games that you guided

But yeah that's not what I'm here to do.. what I am here to do is encourage you to conquer the additional 5th gen entries of MMX, being X4, X5, and X6! Oh yeah and the 6th gen entries of X7 and X8 ALSO: I believe Bit and Byte are both weak to Blizzard Buffalo's weapon
Dude please. We're all begging you. Finish this series. Sure the views are less than a lot of your other content, but this is more important than that. It's about having the resource available. I know other people have done 100% least backtracking runs on TH-cam, but cmon man. YOU Jreviews are THE megaman guy, and everyone knows it. The guides done by other channels don't have the charm and credibility that you do. Please man, the community deserves a complete playlist of guides from its most notable content creator. Even if it's just the rest of the X games I would be happy with that. I know how much work you put into your videos and how much time it takes so I would never presume to ask for more than to finish what was already started. However, I will point out that doing these guides for the entire classic series 1-11, and mmz1,2,3,4, plus zx and advent, would be an incredible gift that the community could never thank you enough for. Please. At least try X4. It's the last good one anyway, and also the halfway point. If it doesn't turn out how you want, there's nothing preventing you from dropping the project. I just think X4 is a much better end point than X3. I legit spent 30 mins looking for your X4 guide just now because I thought "there's no way he stopped at 3, that would be so weird!" In all honesty, I don't mind the backtracking. I suck enough at games to where if I can get an easy way out of a challenge, I'll usually take it. So backtracking in favor of the weakness order has never really bothered me. But I have tried this run more than once, so it's a good thing this game is so replayable
I still hate X3 till this day, but man, your guides really helped me alot. If you're gonna do the other games like X4, X5, or X6, I'll watch those as well. That's if you decide to do that

3:44 was the easiest boss for me. No special weapon needed. I just stay in the corner and jump when the third bullet comes out. Repeat over and over until he's dead.
Thanks for the awesome vid and all your hardwork put into it. Subscribed. But is it just me or does that charge shot kind of ruin the whole game?? Im the type who charges my shot right before going into boss battles or in general I just usually always have my finger on the shot button charging it in between idle parts of the game. But this charge shot kills everything by making the game lag and it takes way to long for the shot to reach the enemy. Its really made the game almost impossible to enjoy and believe me I'm like one of the biggest Mega Fans there is.
No wonder Kaiser Sigma was so hard. I kept hitting the wrong spot so I rarely made any damage. I can't believe I kept blaming the PC Legacy Collection with it's bad optimization and huge input lag. It haves those Issues but on that specific fight the problem was the player not the game.
X2 and X5 are my favorite, third is X8. I heard there are improvement/tweaks mods for X5 and X6 to make these games much more enjoyable. Will you try them soon?

I know this is completely irrelevant, but am i the only one that likes x3 SNES soundtrack? I don’t know but i just really like Gravity Beetle, Blast Hornet, Toxic Seahorse and the doppler battle theme. Also i never really liked x3 to begin with but during last few playthroughs of x3 a lot of my opinions have changed since then. And to be honest I’d rather play x3 over x4 mainly because x4 is sooooooo booorrrrring! 🙄

One important thing he doesnt state in this video, you must kill Vile before 8 main bosses are killed or youre locked out.
Did you miss a heart? I noticed one in Tunnel Rhino's stage behind a boulder, I'm just starting my run so not sure what will get to it later, but it's there and didn't see it in your video. Anything else you missed? With the Legacy Collection it'd be cool if you did sort of this, but also an achievement hunter, see if it's possible to get most if not all achievements in each run. I know you said you didn't want to continue this series, just a suggestion, a completionist guide, thank you for your videos they were very helpful on my journey.

Wonder why ppl say this is a heavy-backtrack game, with careful routing you only need to backtrack once and with Zero Project, it cuts down to none. But good video for guide J, can't wait to see what are the best routes for X5, X6 and X8.

Thanks for the run through of this game! I've never had too much of an issue with this game. I just remember taking lots of damage & that the music loops very quickly in most stages. I just beat Mega Man X3.
I used your review here partly to help me get the items.
It needs explaining,, beforehand, not to get any upgrade chips AT ALL. Makes more sense to get the Golden Armor because you absolutely need it. The Double Dash, the self-healing and the Hyper X-buster all are damn near necessity to beat Kaiser sigma.
I'm not good at dodging tracking-attacks and I end up using 1 Energy tank for Sigma form 1.
Sigma form 2 used up the next 3 tanks.
I managed to beat the game with just 15 health points left.
Sigma is OVERPOWERED - and even with the golden armor you lack the defensive strength to not get killed easily.
I really appreciate these guides a lot, they have helped so much for me. I hope you can change your mind and do more of these please

This along with X & X2 guides could help me out with when beating X-X3 on the Mega Man X Collection to unlock Megaman Battle & Chase.
Not sure how widely this is known, but if you don't have the Buster upgrade and go to Volt Catfish's stage, you can execute a neon jump/upward air dash to get the armor upgrade without even needing to go to Neon Tiger's stage beforehand. Memory is fuzzy on this, but it totally works and is a common trick used in speedruns.
Love the vid, x3 for me had the best music out of all the series. Blast hornet stage is just fire even to this day. Gonna try your walk through on my next playthrough to see.
I loved this series, as I have already played through the X games many times and this series has made me rethink how I play the games a bit in a good way. And because of this, and a new play through of X3 I managed to see how damn good it was from when I first played it. I’d love to see you continue to X4 or the future games at some point but yeah. Good stuff

In Kaiser Sigma fight, you can use Triad Thunder or Gravity Well to intercept the missiles and mines Kaiser Sigma launches.
Lame way that it happens aside, I actually prefer the Zero-less ending as Dr. Doppler gets a more satisfying redemption. Also, it's kind of odd to have the narration talk of X having to eventually kill Zero when they're standing next to each other.
Anyway, X3 is my favorite MMX game for how much you can OP X, the first time that Zero's playable (even though it wasn't executed all that well) and the gimmick with the side bosses creating different endgame challenges, plus its music is pure titanium. X2's a technically superior game, but it just doesn't have X3's sheer presence.

Excellent video! I just saw this now, and I'm sad that I had missed it before. I agree with you that X3 is a good game, and I feel that it has now become underrated over time. Maybe it's not as strong as X1, or even X2, but it's way better than X5, X6, and X7!
Also, I do agree that this game is a little trickier to develop a "limited/no backtracking" route, and that finding such a route does make the game much more fun.

Randomly whipped this out and used your guide as a route for a buster only run, super helpful.
But man, Buster only is super annoying.. And it's a shame, because the bosses are kind of fun to figure out their patterns and what not.. But the levels and enemies take so long to get through if you game over-- I wish the collection had some sort of save state to have let me practice them easier.
Weird bit that J didn't mention, but you can't fight Vile if you beat every Mavrick before him. So if you follow this guide beat by beat, you fight TR, BB, BH, NT, TSH, GB, VC, CCF. Then you can't get Vile's weakness before you fight him, and going through this order and killing Crawfish last just locks you out of his fight as well as getting the Z saber.
Vile has a second weakness. Not going to spoil which one it is unless you ask, though.
Last night I finally beat this game without any upgrades, something I never thought would be possible when I initially did this in X1 and X2 just because of how chaotic Sigma's first form is. But it turns out the pattern of his horizontal fire blasts always come out in the same order. You have to watch out for his shield, cause during my practice runs he Captain-America'd me a couple of times before I got the muscle memory down. But ultimately, once I finally got everything down for both forms, he was way easier overall than X2's final bosses, even with Zero factored in (people who have never played without Heart Tanks/Sub Tanks/Armor Pieces won't know this, but Sigma and Wire Sigma are super freaking hard in X2 without all that stuff, cause they can each kill you in two or three hits). I did play on the Zero Project, but I don't think
I’m not going to lie, I used to be a huge X3 hater (to the extent I would have said it was the worst X game bar X7) but man this video really streamlined the collecting process for me and made running through the game infinitely more fun. I’m so X3-pilled now and I’m even getting genuinely good at running through the game with some pretty fast times. I know this comment will fade into the void of the internet but this video is awesome stuff.

I played megaman X as a kid and completed it yesterday and tried megaman X3 today and found it INSANELY HARD!! hahahaha i didnt know where to start and the bosses were so hard compared to megaman X!! plus the items are so hard to find without searching in the web.. haha ty
When you beat Blast Hornet before Gravity Beetle you may have free access to the heart piece. But backtracking to it later is less of a time problem than fighting the carrier that will appear otherwise. So I prefer backtracking to the heart piece in Gravity Beetle's. Plus one less Maverick I need to dispose with regular X Buster means a bit more time saving. Overall this guide was really good. When I found out there is lots less backtracking than I had it remembered the game became way more fun to explore over and over again.
Neon Tiger is actually pretty easy. His AI isn't programmed to maul you down but to irritate you at best. Yet you can totally skip the irritation. Just stand on the left where you enter the boss room and keep shooting at him. Sometimes he will leap to the upper left corner. Then you slide to the right and he will leap back to the ground on the right as you slide back to the left. Keep shooting. Most of the time he will just stand there and his laser shot pattern is easy enough to avoid.
Not the best mega man x player, but this really helped me a lot. Thank you for making this video!

This is the only X game I have not beaten I keep getting frustrated and putting it down but I'm going to give it another shot after watching
Maybe it's cheating to use this guide to help me beat X3, but it helped me like it a lot more. I enjoy it much more than 2 (but X1 is still gonna be my favorite of the three). I swear the only thing I remember about 2 is Wire Sponge, and I feel if not for this video I'd give X3 similar treatment. I am not playing these games back to back, and playing along with this order definitely helped me complete this game for the first time. Thanks for sparking my interest back into this series!
I like to go blizzard Buffalo then Rhino just because the Leg upgrade makes everything much easier for me at least.

Should probably try speaking slower and explaining things more clearly. Nowhere in the video it is mentioned vile is missable if you complete all the stages. Also multiple mentions of mentioning killing vile with his weakness but no real explanation on why and what changes.
Agreed, it actually happened to me but I was using save states inbetween levels so luckily I didn't have to reset the whole game but if I had to, hoo boy, I would've rage quited. 😅😅
After the last marathon, we can say you mastered the theory but needs some more practice. But keep these guides coming! Maybe something with the zero or legends series next would be cool: these games have loads of secrets and collectibles
Personally, I recommend saving the backtrack to Tunnel Rhino for last, as the Head Parts giving you a map of the stage every time you enter any of the eight Maverick stages is really annoying.

-Hit the Rhino First
-Kill the Bee or the Buffalo, next, but kill the other one immediately after
-Take on the Tiger, and then the Beetle
-Vivisect the Vile and then the Catfish
-Rush back to the Rhino for a spell
-Crush the Crawfish or Sink the Seahorse
There. Only 1 stage that's backtracked on, and I have most of the weaknesses in tow
I love the megaman x games i knew where all of the heart tanks sub tanks and capsules in x1 but i can say x3 is a good game and is one of the more harder games and i remember playing x1 x2 and x3 and just doing any way but i wasnt really good so thank you for making this vid and all of the x games that you guided

Dude please. We're all begging you. Finish this series. Sure the views are less than a lot of your other content, but this is more important than that. It's about having the resource available. I know other people have done 100% least backtracking runs on TH-cam, but cmon man. YOU Jreviews are THE megaman guy, and everyone knows it. The guides done by other channels don't have the charm and credibility that you do. Please man, the community deserves a complete playlist of guides from its most notable content creator.
Even if it's just the rest of the X games I would be happy with that. I know how much work you put into your videos and how much time it takes so I would never presume to ask for more than to finish what was already started. However, I will point out that doing these guides for the entire classic series 1-11, and mmz1,2,3,4, plus zx and advent, would be an incredible gift that the community could never thank you enough for.
Please. At least try X4. It's the last good one anyway, and also the halfway point. If it doesn't turn out how you want, there's nothing preventing you from dropping the project. I just think X4 is a much better end point than X3. I legit spent 30 mins looking for your X4 guide just now because I thought "there's no way he stopped at 3, that would be so weird!" But it turned out I was wrong.

Why exactly are they mid? They provide all the relevant information in a short concise video that's easily accessable for the community with no fluff. There are no other videos with the information presented as such. There is no argument where the videos not existing is better for the community than if they do. And they do now. So like... 🤷

In all honesty, I don't mind the backtracking. I suck enough at games to where if I can get an easy way out of a challenge, I'll usually take it. So backtracking in favor of the weakness order has never really bothered me. But I have tried this run more than once, so it's a good thing this game is so replayable
This game is awesome with the Project Zero rom hack. It basically makes a definitive way to play Mega Man X3 in this day and age.
Shame to see this series go, the first two videos were a big help when I first played X1 and X2.

You should try X3 Zero Playable hack. It's way better than vanilla X3 and has less backtracking.

3:44 was the easiest boss for me. No special weapon needed. I just stay in the corner and jump when the third bullet comes out. Repeat over and over until he's dead.

But is it just me or does that charge shot kind of ruin the whole game?? Im the type who charges my shot right before going into boss battles or in general I just usually always have my finger on the shot button charging it in between idle parts of the game. But this charge shot kills everything by making the game lag and it takes way to long for the shot to reach the enemy. Its really made the game almost impossible to enjoy and believe me I'm like one of the biggest Mega Fans there is.
My order: Tunnel Rhino > Blizzard Buffalo > Neon Tiger > Blast Hornet > Gravity Beetle > Volt Catfish > Crush Crawfish > Toxic Seahorse

TBH i always play first 3 MMX games with save states, not because i suck at playing X games but because im lazy to remember or write the passwords

No wonder Kaiser Sigma was so hard. I kept hitting the wrong spot so I rarely made any damage. I can't believe I kept blaming the PC Legacy Collection with it's bad optimization and huge input lag. It haves those Issues but on that specific fight the problem was the player not the game.

X2 and X5 are my favorite, third is X8. I heard there are improvement/tweaks mods for X5 and X6 to make these games much more enjoyable. Will you try them soon?

I played and beaten x3 yesterday on the legacy collection on switch 100%
I accidentally did the vile capsule in the catfish stage and now I don’t think I can refight him in another vile capsule
In all these years I never knew how to use ride armors in x 3
I know this is completely irrelevant, but am i the only one that likes x3 SNES soundtrack? I don’t know but i just really like Gravity Beetle, Blast Hornet, Toxic Seahorse and the doppler battle theme.
Also i never really liked x3 to begin with but during last few playthroughs of x3 a lot of my opinions have changed since then. And to be honest I’d rather play x3 over x4 mainly because x4 is sooooooo booorrrrring! 🙄
