I know they're technically not Robot Masters, but I often like to lump the Dark Man, Stardroid, and Mega Man Killer + Quint series' with them as well since they're all very similar both in functions and overall appearances. Additional mentions go to Time Man and Oil Man from Powered Up, and the cut Bond Man from MM1. There's a lot of others, but we'd be here all day if I named any more from so many sources... Needless to say the amount is pretty big. Lol

i also like the genesis unit from wily tower and terra mainly cuz their designs or the fact that i remember their names and feel more like characters as opposed to the yellow devil or sniper joe or met(they are also iconic tho)

Mega Man 11 is the best so far, i hope they continue more with the 2.5 d style. My only gripe would be the music isn't as good as some of the previous mega mans. But the gameplay is top notch.

I'm not too familiar with the X series outside of the first game. I played the heck out of it as a teenager and know it like the back of my hand. The other 7? Eh, not so much. Perhaps I'll do one with the Maverick Reploids once I get more familiar with the other games. We'll see what the future brings.
A Robot Master should have a Good Stage, Good Boss fight and Good Weapon. On that note. I never heard a remix of Mega Man 8's boss music before. It's not one of my favorites but i really liked the versions that played during Tengu Man and Frost Man's battles. The metal remixes of the Rockman & Forte and Mega Man 10 battles were badass!!
Yeah, for a Sega Saturn exclusive Mega Man game, 8 is pretty much the bottom rung of the MM game ladder. And Mega Man & Bass is totally unappreciated out of all of them. I have the links to those remixes in the description of my video if you want to hear the full versions.
Two Robot Masters from Mega Man 8 were reused in Mega Man and Bass: Astro Man and Tengu Man. So there really are only 92. I didn't use them in the MM&B section because 1) MM&B reused them, which would have been repetitive, and 2) it wasn't their first appearance in the series, since that distinction belongs to Mega Man 8. The first masters don't have a Dr. Wily Number, they are Dr. Light's creations and are numbered as such. 😉 Also it seems a bit unfair to beat them with weapons from masters with a higher number. 🤣
Thank you for enjoying my video leaving a comment. And as far as the Robot Master numbers are concerned, for the sake of this video, they are assigned DWN designations. This is because Dr. Wily reprogrammed Dr. Light's robots to become something they weren't designed for in the first place. He was also Dr. Light's assistant who helped build the robots. So, to Wily, they are partly his creations as well. Hence why I don't differentiate.
DLN/DWN, despite the different designations, are a single series since the latter picks up from where the former ends. Now, if you really do want to "um actually" then recall that the Mega Man & Bass bosses are technically KGN (King Numbers) and are a separate series from the DLN/DWN robots, but since Wily built King maybe he built these others too?

NGL I would play the shit out of a Mega Man fangame where you gotta fight every Robot Master (& Stardroid, RM&FWS RM, the Mega Man Killers, the Genesis Unit and Oil Man and Time Man) in either numerical or random order and survive until you beat them all or as long as you can until you die
Thank you and good choices! In their respective games, each of them are the hardest to defeat solely using the Mega Buster, instead of their weaknesses. Quick man may be the hardest of the two in that regard; however, if you use Time Stopper, he becomes considerably easier. Tomahawk Man remains quite formidable even if you use the Plant Barrier, since he can still hit you with Feather Attack and the Silver Tomahawk while you're using it. Quick man is pretty sleek looking. Tomahawk Man's design is top notch too.
I played the first one as a teenager until I knew it like the back of my hand. I'm still pretty familiar with it, but I've only ever played X2 and X3 once or twice. And I am woefully unfamiliar with the rest of the games. At some point I may give the other games a go and do a Boss Rush, but I doubt it will be anytime soon. I wish I could say I would, but I don't want to get anyone's hopes up.
Yeah. For one, I couldn't find a boss theme long enough to stick there. And secondly, I thought the boss still needed the intro music so people could hear their soft voices better. Thirdly, instead of putting in one boss theme, I decided to mix it up and put multiple different boss theme remixes in for each robot master. I think it worked out extremely well. Glad you did too.
That's the X series, not the Original series which is represented in this video. If I were to do an X series video, it'd be something like "All (insert # here) Maverick Reploids"

They even have different robot number designations that don't conform to the pattern of the other Robot Masters. They belong in the remake, that hasn't had a continuation since the game didn't sell that well.

And as far as the Robot Master numbers are concerned, for the sake of this video, they are assigned DWN designations. This is because Dr. Wily reprogrammed Dr. Light's robots to become something they weren't designed for in the first place. He was also Dr. Light's assistant who helped build the robots. So, to Wily, they are partly his creations as well. Hence why I don't differentiate.
DLN/DWN, despite the different designations, are a single series since the latter picks up from where the former ends. Now, if you really do want to "um actually" then recall that the Mega Man & Bass bosses are technically KGN (King Numbers) and are a separate series from the DLN/DWN robots, but since Wily built King maybe he built these others too?

In their respective games, each of them are the hardest to defeat solely using the Mega Buster, instead of their weaknesses. Quick man may be the hardest of the two in that regard; however, if you use Time Stopper, he becomes considerably easier. Tomahawk Man remains quite formidable even if you use the Plant Barrier, since he can still hit you with Feather Attack and the Silver Tomahawk while you're using it.
Quick man is pretty sleek looking. Tomahawk Man's design is top notch too.

One of the luckiest air man sequences I’ve ever seen
I recorded each Robot Master fight in this video 5 times and chose the best fight from each set. Luckily this Air Man sequence was one of them.
Will you do this for the x series at some point?
I played the first one as a teenager until I knew it like the back of my hand. I'm still pretty familiar with it, but I've only ever played X2 and X3 once or twice. And I am woefully unfamiliar with the rest of the games. At some point I may give the other games a go and do a Boss Rush, but I doubt it will be anytime soon. I wish I could say I would, but I don't want to get anyone's hopes up.

Yeah. For one, I couldn't find a boss theme long enough to stick there. And secondly, I thought the boss still needed the intro music so people could hear their soft voices better. Thirdly, instead of putting in one boss theme, I decided to mix it up and put multiple different boss theme remixes in for each robot master. I think it worked out extremely well. Glad you did too.

He's the only Robot Master that I know of who is deathly weak to his own weapon. The Metal Blades must be carbide tipped. Pretty crazy, eh?

They even have different robot number designations that don't conform to the pattern of the other Robot Masters. They belong in the remake, that hasn't had a continuation since the game didn't sell that well.
