- It's been a HUGE week for James and Joe as they move the Clever Car Collection into a new base. They're calling it a car dealership, which sounds grand, but it's better than being based from a driveway.
In this week's episode they get the new car dealership set up and break their duck selling some cars and have a lot of success buying some from a range of places including car auction sites, some private ads fishing and a random phone call from a podcast listener.

Well done on your progress since starting out. Been following you from the start. Have you done a video for all the tools/services you need yo start up a business like yours. I.e
- trade ins with how to source & cost
- CAP pricing, source, how to use and cost/ how else to value a car to buy & retail
- website build/cost manage
- sourcing cars - auction, car wow, motorway - setting up account & costs
- marketing, design material costs etc
- workshop/office space - cost and overheads
- AOB
A bit like a playbook for setting up.

13:04 is a manual washing machine. You put the clothes, water and detergent in, tighten the lid down and turn the handle. As the barrel then rotates pressure builds up inside and cleans your clothes.

Mja plates on that Suzuki means it's started life properly because Mike was a good dealer and he only dealt with decent cars .

It’s been crazy. Hard work but rewarding!
That is a pressure washing machine, put top on spin and the pressure builds to clean the clothes. Like a pressure cooker 😂

Lovely little unit you've got there. Can see you guys outgrowing that in no time at the pace you're going. Do you solely rely on Autotrader or do you advertise elsewhere?
We use instagram and Motors as well. We’ve had a few leads from Motors lately as well. The Corsa sold off a Motors lead. We’re big fans of the unit. It’s made life a lot easier already

just caught up after a week helping the son open up his workshop were he repairs car etc and does alloy wheel refurbishment , boy life gets complicated , he got a 8500 brand new car deal from kia etc so very very very busy and still works for bmw lol.
