If you has frame sliders you can use them as a place to put jack stands and gives great stability and nothing in you way. Thats what i do for my 3rd and 2nd gen
@@BuiltByRichah too bad! Would have been nice to find one for mine! Also do you know what year GSXR the forks came off of? This will most likely be my winter project for myself. 2001-2003 750? Or earlier?
@@matteooballa3581 I dont remember exactly cuz my friend gave me the fork but from the research I’ve gather I believe it was 2001-2003 gsxr 750. There many different forks that would work just got to use the right bearings. It’s covered in a lot of the forum write ups.
There is quite a bit of gsxr suspension that are compatible. I believe mine was a 2002 GSXR 1000/750. If you google SV 650 GSXr front end swap, you will find a lot of information for different front end that are compatible.
@@rgray25 mine was an 01 sv650 and don’t know if there are major differences between the 2 but from what it seems it looks like there’s quite a bit of front end that will work with the sv. Just do a quick google and I’m sure it’ll show up.

Awesome thanks!
Hey! Where did you get that rear seat cover? Looks great!
@@matteooballa3581 it was part of the fairing kit. It’s been discontinued for a while now but it came from sv raceshop

Hi there, I’ve got a 2014 sv650, just wondering what year gsxr’s I can use that will fit?

Did you get the bike with full fairings ? Do you know any place to get the fairings ? Aftermarket is fine
Yea it has aftermarket fairings. I’m not sure where it came from as it was already installed when i got it.
Damn so this only works on old bikes. I have a '23.
The newer suspension Is probably not as bad as the older stuff.
@BuiltByRich its very nice actually, but would love something I can max out the bike with. I'm a handling guy, not a stoplight ape.
805 in the house lol
also for that main castle nut you can just use a flathead and a hammer and it comes off ez
LFG 🫡
