- We asked YOU for your questions about us and our full-time RV lifestyle - and you came up with some great questions! We've been living full-time in our HDT RV tow vehicle and DRV 5th wheel for over 6 years, and we've learned quite a bit. We share some of the lessons we've learned along the way and some of our personal lives as well.

I never ask myself why I liked you guys so much, now I know. Salt Of The Earth. Thank you for sharing so much.
Thank you Audie. We appreciate it.
Excellent approach to a video. Well done. My wife and I (52 years and counting) parallel your story closely. Retired now, living full-time in our 5th wheel. We have RV-camped in 47 of the 50 states (and counting). Every Sunday we search online for a compatable and interesting church, and have never been disapointed. God has His hand on us, and we are careful to stay under His hand on our travels and life. So enjoy your channel, love the music you choose, and the look outside your windows as you drive. God bless.
Thank you Jim. Congratulations to you guys and may you see many more miles down the road!
Thank you for taking us along.😊
We appreciate it Terry...thank you!
You two are a true blessing! So grateful to be able to watch your adventures! God bless!
Thank you Elizabeth. We are truly blessed and we thank Him for His blessings each and every day.
Thank you so much for sharing as much as you did in this video, Kellie and Jim. Your motivations and beliefs are yours, yet you have been excellent exemplars of the power of humility and subtlety - your videos are accessible to all people who savor adventure across our beautiful country, enjoy the personal freedom to travel whenever during the year and wherever in the US that we choose. You wish others the same enrichment and freedom, and such adherence to the Golden Rule is what I respect most about you. May you both continue to enjoy good health and happiness for as long as you do fulltime on the road and afterwards, and may your family be happy in whatever they decide is best for them, God's willing. ❤🙏🏾👍🏾
I knew from the very first video I started watching, you guys was from my “church”! Like you guys, I met my husband in November and we marred in February 51 years ago. We loved traveling (as Evangelist) and camping sharing God Word. But because of our health we no longer can travel. So, we’ll keep watching and praying for you! Blessings🌺
Thank you Brenda. We are truly blessed and we thank Him for His blessings on us every day.
I knew there was a reason, that I liked you two! I so want to pick your brains. Someday. I'm looking at traveling and then the news comes on, and I question my decision on going south from Alaska. (Snowbird for four months - Feb thru May) Videos like this reassure me that there is many good reasons to travel.
Hahaha....stop watching the news! We hope to cross paths at some point. Let us know when you start your travels...
Jim and Kelli, We so enjoyed hearing your life, family and love for our Lord. Your desire to serve Jesus and praying for others is a wonderful calling! Thank you for refreshing videos of your travels!
We're so glad you enjoyed it.
Well Jim and Kelly, I just say PTL for you two sharing your adventures out into the world!
Thank you!
I can relate to your full time travel beginnings. I too, felt God leading us into full time rv life. Been full time for 3 years now, and loving it. So glad to get rid of all the overhead of maintaining a house.
As we like to tell people - getting rid of the sticks and bricks is very liberating. It's just stuff...and we love our lifestyle. Keep living the good life!
This is a much preferred method for a Q&A vs Live, in my opinion. Thanks.
Thanks for the feedback.
Totally agree. I'm a long distance truck driver and rarely know what hour I'll be able to tune into a live. This way, I get the entire thing.😊
I love how you guys started RV’ing! We have had a similar calling to go fulltime, and we have four wonderful children with us, most of them autistic. My wife has a travel assignment job, and I am an ordained minister. We use the fulltime lifestyle to minister to folks however we can.
God bless y’all for doing what you do! Keep it up! We don’t know what tomorrow brings.
That's fantastic! We are truly blessed and we thank Him every day for His blessings.
Hi guys!! Good questions and answer video. I wanted to reach in and hug Kelli as she was crying!! You two are a very special couple and I'm so happy you bring us along each week. One day I hope to meet you guys on the road!! We leave this Saturday and so excited to hit the road. We are both exhausted from getting things fixed and cleaned, but it's worth it!! Take care and enjoy Montana, we'll be in Stevensville the 3rd week of June. 💜
Thanks Carol. We're so happy you enjoyed it. Have a great time and make some wonderful memories!
Great video. I love watching you guys. Thanks for sharing your love for Jesus and each other.
We're so glad you enjoyed it and appreciate you coming along!
I get the fed worker joke, when people really need to know what I did, I would tell them I worked on military, police, hospital and other government equipment. I would always get people that would say I said I was military or police. There are a lot of people that just do not listen and what scares me the most is some of them vote. When I was in college 4 friends and I went to a church in town and the Pastor changed his sermon to berate us 5 heathen college students, I would think he would have understood we went to church but not to be attacked. My arm hurt from the young lady next to me squeezing my arm as he called us names. We went to other churches after that. I like the old small churches when I traveled but they didn't always like a visitor. Stay safe and healthy.
Oh that's too bad. Sorry to hear of your experience. We are to be THE LIGHT in a world full of darkness, so keep pressing on!
Great Q-A. Thanks for answering my Qs. I love it that you are REAL.
Thanks Randy...glad you enjoyed it!
What an awesome video! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. Very very informative. Looking forward to more videos like this one. Exit plan is something we have to be working on, one thing we never anticipated would be health or memory issues causing us to come off the road. No different for anyone none of us know when our time is up, it is in the Good Lord's hands. We will continue our fulltime lifestyle for as long as we can. We are workamping this summer in and we checked in a guest yesterday who has a Luxe and an HDT and they follow you as well. We absolutely love this lifestyle and following along with like minded folks. Thank you!
Thanks Susan. We're so glad you enjoyed it. Be safe out there and enjoy the memories!
My husband was an air traffic controller at Denver Center.
Our friend Kerry worked at the center in Washington.
That's awesome! The FAA was very good for us and we really enjoyed the friends we met along the way.
Thank God for People like you two
Awe...that's sweet Darlene. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your questions,,,,I watch your videos every week and I really like your style,,,Never loose faith in GOD and you know he is the master,,,,MAY GOD BLESS!!!!
Thank you Stephen. We are truly blessed and we thank Him every day for His blessings.
Thank you so much for sharing your story. My wife and I have been watching for 2 or 3 years.
Thank you for coming along Paul.
It’s exciting journey when you obey the Lord. I’m not an RV traveller but love your videos. I’m going through a new stage in my life as my husband passed away and it’s exciting to see where God is leading me and how I like you,can witness to those I come in contact with. Safe travels.
Yes it is Juanita. Sorry for your loss. If we follow Him we will be blessed and we thank Him for His blessings every day.
You both do a fantastic job with your videos. My wife and I have been married for 27 years coming up in June. We are looking forward to retiring when we are old enough and ready. Keep up the great work and enjoy each day.
Thank you Monte and congratulations! We appreciate it.
Thanks for sharing! We appreciated your story and relationship with our Creator. My wife and I will be celebrating 46 years this June and lived in Alaska for 30 years (now Idaho). Just retired and plan to hit the road soon… Hope to see you on the road. 😀🙏🏼

Hi Jim and Kellie! Great video on questions and answers. I was going to ask questions last week but i couldn’t think of any then but I’ll get one the next time..If I have any. Kellie I was dying with you on the words Jim said about you. Nice words from a great man of yours. You both are great Christian friends to have. I can’t believe it’s been 6 years I’ve known you. It doesn’t seem like it read that long ago. I think that God was speaking to me the day i found you on TH-cam. And I’m so glad he did. So nice to have met you as well. Thank you both for all you do. Can’t wait to see more videos of your property. Have a great weekend and week. I love you both! ❤🤗😘
Thank you Sherri. We really enjoy your friendship...
@@SuiteTravels
I enjoy yours as well. ❤️❤️
Great update! We are praying for a healing so we can travel! A lot changed since. We stayed on our lot a couple years ago.
Dennis
Thanks Dennis. Prayers for you!
Really enjoyed this video. Liked hearing your story of how you got started.
Thank you. We're so glad you enjoyed it!
Sorry I missed your live. My phone was messed up. Always love your videos.
LOL...it wasn't live Joe, just a Q&A. Hope you enjoyed it.
Love this video!
We're so glad you enjoyed it Dewey!
God bless you both.🙏 I enjoy watching you. Thank you!
Thank you so much! We are truly blessed and we thank Him for His blessings every day.
Great video guys. My wife and I have a Class A diesel pusher. We only get 7.5 mpg. Diesel is definitely the biggest cost of traveling. So far the longest we have been out is seven weeks.
Thanks guys. We appreciate you coming along.
Wow, 45 years and it wont last!!! How Funny you two! I guess the Lord thinks you both are keepers at this point! (LOL). I needed a pick me up story today!
We're so glad you enjoyed it David....thank you.
I also lived in Alaska (in Chugiak) and Spokane (in Mead)! I sold my home in Mead two years ago and have been full timing since then. Love the lifestyle!
That's awesome Gloria! We may have been neighbors...thanks for coming along.
You need look up the Rocky Mountain Jamboree in Richfield Utah. It is a very well atv utv Rally each Sept.
Thanks...we'll look it up!
I hope our paths cross someday. I am hoping to make the west coast hdt rally
We hope so too Ken. We won't make the rally this year as we're trying to get our new lot livable. Have a great time.
I liked y’all before but I reallllllllly like y’all now! I love the fact that y’all share the good word and not afraid to do so! My husband and I lived in Spokane for about 3 years (thanks Uncle Sam) and absolutely loved the summers there! But being a native Floridian, those winters were brutal! We had a travel trailer and spent every weekend in the summer camping at lakes nearby. I only follow y’all and another HDT (Big Truck Big Travels) and you both are similar in that you both seem like really down to earth people. God bless and stay safe!
Thank you Sandra...sounds like you made some great memories along the way. We appreciate you coming along!
Thank you for the update on your lives.
You're welcome...thank you for taking the time to listen!

We're so glad you enjoyed it Sherie!
I agree totally I looked forward to retirement and increasing my garden BUT now headed to full time RV and will miss not having garden to can the good stuff we are use to having.
It's a different lifestyle Michael - but we wouldn't change a thing!

Im hoping to find that special person who enjoys traveling and wants a best friend.

Loved this! 😊
Thanks for the feedback Bonnie!
Love how you both are, feel about each other the same way. Together, 43 years married and dated 5 years. God bless.
Congratulations Barbara! We appreciate you coming along.
Good morning Jim and Kellie, we loved your Q and A. We've been watching for a while but found it interesting to hear you past and future plans. I had just brought up the thoughts of what do you do when you are no longer able to handle life on the road because of age or health. At our age 75ish , it's probably a little late for us to jump into, we love going along with you two. We have traveled a lot in our 54 yrs of marriage so we are familiar with many of the places you travel. We just came off of a camping trip near Bryce Canyon this past weekend, tent camping with family it was alot of fun. Best wishes and safe travels, Candy and Mike 🤗❤️🤗❤️
Thank you C&M. We appreciate the feedback. Tenting near Bryce...Kellie says she's done sleeping on the ground! Thanks for coming along.
Yes, we bring along a frame and air mattress, so we don't have to climb up off the ground, that's our booshy camping, lol😊
i thoroughly enjoyed this video, as I do each one! It really touched me that it was God who told you to go full time and you obeyed! It was interesting hearing about your life before full timing. I haven't been to many states. Ones I've been to are Oklahoma, Texas, California (once with 2 of the 3 boys I nannied. Their mom is an ophthalmologist and went out for a conference. The boys were around 12 and 14. The 3 of us went to Disneyland! We ran out of money so took a cab to where their mom was and got more money and went back. She joined us in the evening around closing and the most magical thing I've ever seen was when it "snowed" during the fireworks show! The 2nd time was when our oldest daughter got married and we went out for the wedding. The 3rd time was when out daughter and her husband gifted us a trip to visit them in Fresno for our 50th anniversary), Virginia, Missouri and Colorado. Colorado is probably my favorite state. I would recommend Estes Park. I know it's touristy, but they have RV parks. My love for Estes comes from my parents. When they retired, they went out at least once a year and sometimes twice. They stayed in cabins and got well acquainted with the owners and also with clerks in the shops. Mom would say she would like to go in the summer and work in a shop. In later years my dad had macular degeneration, so couldn't drive, and mom drove. She even drove several weeks after she had her first mastectomy. The doctor said it was okay if she kept the left arm elevated on a pillow.. There's a little picnic area west of town called Endovalley Picnic Area. We've been there several times. We fed the bluejays peanuts. They'd come right down to the picnic table. There is a nice shallow, but cold, stream that runs through it. I waded in it once by myself when my husband and I went there and then when we went to Estes with my sister and brother-in-law, my sister and I waded in it and picked up small rocks to bring home. It's at the beginning of Old Fall River Road, which is a dirt or gravel road that leads up to the Alpine Visitors Center. It's a one-way road, so to get back to Estes you take Trail Ridge Road and it's paved and 2 lanes, so you can go up it if you don't want to take the Old Fall River Road. They are closed most of the winter, though. Your Smart car could make it up to the visitors center okay. My parents were on their way to Estes Park in 1976 when the flash flood happened in Big Thompson Canyon. They and my uncle and wife who were also traveling from Kansas to Estes heard about the flood and took the detour into Estes. In 1982 a dam at Lawn Lake broke and the folks were out there at that time too. It got the downtown area. Mom new where everything was at and how to get there. I get mixed up as to where and how to get to places around Estes. Before my dad died, my husband and I went to where my parents lived, and mom and I went to church. Daddy had been in and out of the hospital most weekends for a time, but that Sunday he was home. My husband stayed home with him. My dad asked my husband "would you make sure mom gets to Colorado?" We took her quite a few times.
Wow! That's a lonnnnggg comment, isn't it?
Long but eventful Janice! So many great memories...thank you for sharing!
Excellent format. I miss leading worship.
Thank you. We're sure you'll find some way to fill that void...
Thanks for sharing you back story and answering the questions.
I want to provide some info about a newer 1 ton dually. We have a 2021 F-350 diesel with upgraded rear, 4:10 gears. Towing a Grand Design Solitude 310GK we get between 9.5-10+ mpg. Roughly 16-17 not towing. We've been full time for 3 years now.
Enjoy your videos and we hope to run into you guys on the road some day.
Thanks Richard. We hope to cross paths as well. Travel safe!
Jim, I am just wondering how you manage your budget for all the tires on your rig? You have 10 tires on the tractor, 6 tires on the trailer, 4 tires on the smart car, 4 tires on the off road in the toy hauler! That is alot of tread and money you have to budget, then add brakes, hydraulics, OMG! If you add all your service's on your rig, the trailer, the toad, the off road, what would you estimate the annual cost is today?
LOL...yes, that's one budget item we forgot to mention. We budget $150 per month for service and it's worked very well.
I have a question Jim and Kelly, I think you mentioned that you use south Dakota as your domicile state? Am I correct on that and what does that mean and how does that work? I'll start with that and may have more questions. Or maybe someone else could answer if you don't see this.
Thanks Curt. Stay tuned for part 2 as we answer that question!
Can you go into some more detail on how you find a good church. The details we find are all very similar and I guess "generic". Are there words you look for or other activities etc that they do that helps direct you? The very best of luck for your 2024 season. That reminds me of another. Have you traveled abroad e.g. to Europe. We just came back from Italy and LOVED LOVED LOVED the food. It was the off season but still crowded. I cannot believe it would be fun in the heat and real crowds of July/Aug.
We do a search on Google for "churches near XXX" (where ever we are planning to stay). Since we are non-denominational Christians, we pass on LDS, Catholic, etc. We narrow that list down to 3 or 4 and then go to their website and try to find their "what we believe" section. If it fits our beliefs, we give them a try. It has worked very well for us and we've met some amazing people along the way! We've never been overseas. We feel there's so much to discover here in the US.
Thanks Jim and Kellie. Things are progressing at the sticks and bricks.
Getting closer to market day.
Safe travels and roads Brian and Cindy, "xtreambydesign with passion"
That's fantastic Brian! Keep us posted.
For some reason when I look at Jim I see air marshal as previous career. I enjoy your channel, thanks for taking us along.
Hahaha....that's a new one Roger! Thanks for coming along.
Good video, here’s a note I found
“ I have a plan for you, trust me?
God “
In my mind I prefer God’s leadership.
Amen!! 🙌
