Air Force Veteran's ABANDONED House with EVERYTHING Left Behind | 2 Mercedes-Benz Forgotten
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 12 ก.ค. 2024
- Today, we're stepping into the unknown as we explore an abandoned home in Florida, frozen in time since 2019. This place was built in 1980, is much larger than it seems with a whopping 4600+ square feet of untold stories and hidden treasures waiting to be discovered.
The man who once called this place home was A brave U.S. Air Force veteran who crisscrossed the globe, serving at various bases in his younger years. When he returned for good, he found a soulmate to share his days with, living life to the fullest without the need for a wedding ring.
Venturing into the world of real estate, he became a trusted broker in the local community. His love for life, unwavering faith, and boundless generosity touched everyone he met. No one was a stranger to him, and he was always there to lend a hand to those in need. Truly a remarkable soul in every sense.
In 2011, at the age of 78, he passed away, leaving his partner to carry on his legacy. However, fate had other plans, as she too departed just a few years later. In 2017, the home found new owners, who began but never finished renovations, leaving everything behind, including two luxurious Mercedes Benzes in the driveway.

I really hope someone saves this home and bring it back to glory
Some NGO should look after this place . It is such beautiful.
This house is too beautiful to be abandoned. Him and his wife must of loved this home. How do you film without air conditioning?.it cant be easy. Thank you for filming and showing some amazing houses.
Lead paint is likely and to remove the lead could cost more than the house is worth
@@richradley2706 lead paint flacks off the wall that is how you can tell it's led paint.
@@richradley2706 You sand it and cover it with new paint.
@@Thomas-yr9ln Not really all you need is to paint the walls with 2 coats of latex paint and that will encapsulate the lead paint
@@Mr21scottbut then there would be lead dust in the house
Beautiful house, which used to be very vibrant with celebrations, parties and get-togethers !!!! Good things never grow old. Real definition of the verse "naked we came, naked shall we return" and may their good deeds follows them. Rip great couples.
The kind gesture of making the bed that may never be laid in again to keep the beauty and peace remaining forever in the home.
Very cool dude 👏🏼❤️
Thank you!
@@BigBankz this was beautiful and I love your respect for these places. You honor them and their history for the sanctuaries they were to a soul long past.
@@BigBankz "living life to the fullest, without the need for a wedding ring"😂 But didn't produce any offspring to inherit his house, leaving it to rot.🤣
Oh lord won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz. Lol
There was a house built kinda Iike that in Colorado. A young couple cleared the property built the house. It looked just like that. Then they lived there for about 3 yrs. They said they started receiving night visitors. Like a Big foot or some night creature. They tried to put stuff around it so the animals would leave them alone. Thry tried making friends and giving them gifts of food. But the animals didn’t like them. They put the house up for sale. An older couple came and looked at it and wanted it. So They sat them down told them about the night visits. They still wanted it. So they sold them the house. The old man & lady moved in and started to live there. She decided to put flower beds all around it. Anything that would grow in the area. They were so pretty they said. The animals whatever they were left them alone. Now and then the young couple would go by to see them. They were fine. Thry said if they grill in the back yard they leave something out for the animals. The animals would leave them pretty rocks and stuff. The guy who was a big foot expert said the animals big foot or not, were mad cause they had disturbed the wooded grounds. The old couple were quiet and made things pretty with good smell flowers. That’s the only thing They could figure out.
The four poster bed is gorgeous with the comforter on it changed the whole aura if the room!😮
I see these videos and I think they are a great reminder of how precious and temporary is our lives. We are all going at some point and we are not taking anything with us. Maybe what is a little sad is that there was no family to pass it to or is interested in the property. All the things and memories of their family ends right here. Beautiful home though and with a modern update would be great.
If I had the money I’d buy it and hire a cleaner crew to clean it all up.
Yeah! and we neglect the most important thing of all: readying oneself to meet Creator GOD.
What is truly amazing is that this house hasn’t been vandalized.
Not yet
Ja, well maybe 'cause it's not in s africa......
Great video! It’s very sad to see those 2 Mercedes abandoned :(
This home is beautiful. It’s in good enough shape that someone could buy it, do a little renovation and live in it forever. It will be a shame if it doesn’t get bought and fixed up. As far as the cars go maybe some collector will see them and try to get them.
If I had money I'd take that house and bring it back to life BTW love 4 poster bed and the cars
BigBankz there is a abandoned house next to me & , its all grown up & you can't even see the place. . if I didn't live here I would've known myself. It belonged to an ""elderly couple & they passed away several yr's ago"". there son let it grow up like this because I guess he had no interest in the place. It's here in Millbrook, Alabama on Vaughn Rd.WE are about 10 miles outside of Montgomery, Alabama. I don't know if you be interested or not? Oh & I liked the CARS!! I wouldn't mind havin one of them, lol. RIDE IN STYLE !!
Love 70 style home with sunken living areas. Frank Lloyd Wright built and designed a lot of homes in the 70s era
FLW died in 1959.
When houses get this old, they get expensive to maintain. HVAC systems, pipes, windows, flooring, roofs, sidewalks often need replacing. Chimney fireboxes and adobe need repair so that they are not a carbon monoxide hazard. It's no wonder when the original owners die family members head for the hills. Great video. Thanks.
.. TRUE, sad though bc... It would've been so worth it!!😢
Hi Big Bankz, the house is very cool, definitely 70's, I am old enough to have lived through that time. There was that photo of the three kids, maybe there's or grand kids, nieces and nephews, so there is some family out there. The house was very nice in its day. Thanks for sharing. Love from N.Y.
If the kids aren't interested in it, nobody else usually wants it.
Big bankz do you ever find out of the homes are for sale? So maybe if you did you could sale them! Big Bankz aren’t you in the real estate business? Or your wife? I just seem to have a memory of you being in the real estate businesses at one tine? Is that right?
This house was ahead of its time for when it was made. Absolutely amazing. My wife would have so many ideas to update it & make it a great home again. Everything is just stunning, to be honest she would prob use alot of what was in there to keep it together because every everything in there is amazing
That other kitchen could be part of an in-law suite. It gives the parents their own space, but still be part of the family.
YES...
You can look for the date the car was assembled on the tail lights - most cars have the year embossed in the lens. If the car used the same lens in more than one year ( many did and still do ) the date you see would be the FIRST year that style lens was used. On General Motors cars, you can look at the VIN on top of the dash, in front of the driver, and count over SIX from the left - that will be the number of the year - in a single digit - 1968 will have a "8" in that position. ( so you have to know around what decade you're looking for ).
I love this house! Master bedroom & bathroom were awesome, except for the fuggly carpet! Awesome video bro! ❤️👍🤘
Primary bedroom, y’all are old enough to make the change. Embarrassing
The Donna Summer's house broke my heart. To tear down such beauty.
All the abandoned houses that are to be torn down are heartbreaking
Both cars are extremely valuable, a collector's dream. S klasse from 80s. The "L" in SEL means long version. 560s are 5,5 liter V8. The only good is that they are sitting under the roof, but it is a crime to left them there without love, so sad..
5:45 love the round mirror 6:02 sunken living room & shag carpet scream 70’s 16:43 nice big kitchen 28:27 I hope someone buys & saves that house. Too many houses left to rot.
... me too, i love the sunken living room and that huge fireplace. the bar was nice also!!
It always amazes me how people's home looked like. Certainly very different. I can see that place jumping to yhe 70s music in that sucken living. Kool. Thanks for sharing
This house is gorgeous. I wish I could buy it. I can't believe this house was abandoned!
You and me both!
Wow, I was surprised that it was not covered in dust. It's like someone just dusted. I could tell it had a little bit of dust. Very nice house. Thanks for sharing this video with us. Funny you just mentioned the dust LoL but for real it doesn't show it to be a lot dusty. Crazy things a person noticed huh
I would not have painted over the brick🤦♀️All of the beauty of them are gone unless...
The wooden thing you took out of the box in the kitchen is a plant stand. The three sections are pulled outward and a small dish or planter sets into the tripod. Cool-
That’s what I thought!
Could also be used as a pot holder.
No family left to take care or sell the place? Nice video.
There is a house in Ottawa, Ontario Canada that is abondened and I'm obsessed with it! Please come explore it before they tear it down!!
I BigBankz 🙋🏽. I'M REALLY Loving the whole place. My favorite room is the living room. Thank You so much for inviting me to watch your video 🙋🏽. Enjoy your Weekend ‼️👋🏽.
Thank you so much! You as well!
@@BigBankz 👊🏽👍🏽👋🏽❤️
I can already tell this will be a sad exploration. It’s hard to see memories left to decay. 😢
I loved the four poster bed, but the sunken living room is by far my favorite!!
Thanks for the wonderful tour. 😊
Nice house, maybe part was a granny flat. Loved the sitting room with the fireplace. Thank you love from the uk. Please come to the UK ❤❤
One of the most interesting homes. They love their carpets!!. Keep the houses coming. Great finds, thanks, sharing 😊
Forgot to mention those are top models of that time, very nice cars and I´m not Mercedes fan at all. Those were quite expensive cars at the time, and today have much value because you can see those are still in good condition.
I love the main bedroom . The bed looks so lovely with the comforter. So kind of you to make the bed. ❤
What a beautiful house!
I found your channel literally 2 days ago and so loving it. This house is so nice, i love the sunken livingroom. That 4 post bed is beautiful and so kind of you to put the comforter on. To me, that just shows the utmost respect you have for these abandoned mansions. I was wondering, so many comments of people saying they would like to buy it but I'm sitting here wondering, since he was a veteran, if there are any services that would come in, renovate and clean inside and out and offer the home to either a veteran in need or anyone in any of the armed forces that is still active. Just a thought i had. I so love your videos.
Hey big banks I love the 4 post bed and the car's are great
This one was interesting.Italian people used to have two kitchen’s, The his & hers bathrooms would be a nice use of space, especially if the other person is messy. People who had money could have a walking closet next to the bathroom. Makes like easier when getting dressed.
Nice one here Bankz. My favorite is the kitchen. Very nice. Carpet in the bathroom is stupid. A big no no. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Our 1979 model home had carpet in the master bath. We thought it was a dumb idea. It was eventually replaced with vinyl. We had a carpeted border on the kitchen floor along the cabinets. Replaced all that with large tiles and marble trim.
One of the best abandoned I have saw in a while. That RC Mini sort of puts this at 2002 being left behind. Be interesting to know if you could buy this from the county for the taxes owed.
Good question ❤
The AF Vet is turning in his grave to see in what shape his house is now. In my opinion, a 4,600 sq.ft. building is a mansion. You can see it even now how he/they cared for this house. How sad that whoever owns this beautiful house now, could care less about it. Shame on you! And... why would it be assumed that this was a swingers house? Unless of course, some proof was found but not shown in the video proving that. Excellent video!
I have never understood how homes just get abandoned. They are assets worth money. Insane.
Your over 65 (this is not the case here) Get a reverse mortgage, wait 5 years and walk off with a lot of non-reportable income
@@richradley2706 "wait 5 years and walk off" to the tomb.
Very great video, man, now this house is a truly amazing, oh, these 2 Mercedes cars, there are forgotten.
I feel modern Spanish vibes on the house too. Some of the furniture looks 80s and 90s relevant, like the couch set. I love that room too. It so wide open, balanced, inviting, and cozy too. Good for entertaining, family gathering, and just chilln!
There is a picture with children at about 11:30 into the video. What can you say about that?
I loved this house....I hope someone brings this house back to life. Thanks BigBankz ❤
I love that fireplace
How would someone go about purchasing one of these abandoned properties?
I hope you closed that door that someone left open.
was thinking the same thing, so no animals or anything get in there and do further damage. over all the house is in good shape!
Thank you for bringing us along to explore these beautiful homes. Your respect for the homes and admiration of the architecture & details in the home is commendable.
I love that house,I hope it can get saved.
My favorite Bando guy!!!! Love your spirit!
Wow what a damn shame it's just rotting. How can the property go untouched? No brothers, sisters, cousins who could have benefited from the treasures left behind? Rhetorical question.
Thank you SO much for this tour. I am fascinated by these tours. Makes you think about life in general. How after we are long gone, the "stuff" doesn't really mean much to anyone we leave behind. Note: some, not all people we leave behind. Everyone's got a story. 😊❤
Watching from Indonesia 🇮🇩
Amazing video! Love your work. Hard to believe that people leave so much behind.
Have you ever been in an abandoned home where you felt it was haunted?
That carpet looks plush rather than shag. My first apartment in 1979 had a sunken living room. It was a studio. A lot of the apartments had shag but I wanted a regular carpet. The apartments with shag reeked of odors that had been absorbed into the long fibers. Great video. Thanks
I think I see cat eyes shining inside the Mercedes logo and then all the footprints. Lol
Great video, thanks for sharing! It's so sad to see all those abandoned houses, but at least this one had only one photo left behind (it's always sad to see momentums and photos thrown away).
I absolutely love this big fireplace and layout in general. Absolutely gorgeous.
Also should agree with other commentators - a carpet in a bathroom is insane. And not in a good way, haha
PS: Sorry for my broken English, wish you luck on your next adventures!
All good! Thank you for watching!
Feels like the house was decorated for a house tour to sell it or something along those lines.
Could’ve been!
Likely, it called “Staging” learned about it in interior decoration and design!
This home is beautiful I absolutely love it. I hope someone saves this home or at least all of the furniture. Thank you for sharing have a great day.
You find the most interesting houses to explore and they
usually out in a rural area really great video Thanks.🇺🇲🏰🇺🇲
Did you check for keys in the cars? Maybe owner had emergency key hidden on car!!!
Thank you for rearranging the items back. ❤
Hey, Absolutely gorgeous home, great video,
Wish it can be saved.
Thank you for sharing, its gotta be hot.
Stay safe and well,
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ❤❤🩵🩵💛💛💚💚💙💙
LOVE YOUR VIDS BRO!
We had sunken living room. Sunken family room. Sunken bedroom, but had to step up to closet or bathroom. At night was dangerous going to bathroom. I hated it. We always talked about making it one level but never did.
This was a beautiful home that had a lot of Love. I wonder why the house was never up for sale. Anyways can't wait for the next adventure. Thanks for doing these videos I really enjoy them.
Do you know how long it’s been empty? Sad
you're brave af opening them fridges knowing there's no power lol
That whole fireplace set up is magnificent 💕
You make the best videos dude!
I’m curious why is no one living in this house ????
Love homes and old things love video
In the bedroom with the 4-poster bed - the chest and nightstands (I think there's also a dresser - can't be sure - not all the way through the room yet) - those were bought in the 1989-1991 time-frame - my late husband and I bought that set at a rent-to-own place in 1989 or 1990 - can't remember which year - and it was a chest of drawers, a dresser with a mirror, either one or two nightstands (you had a choice), a bed frame, a headboard, and a queen size mattress and box springs. That was a very popular style and it was very modestly priced (not expensive but not dirt cheap either).
Oh my world, what a fantastic piece
Mercedes-Benz 560SL (The burgundy car) was built from 1986 to 1989, the 560SEL (the blue car) was built from 1986 to 1991. The Pennsylvania license plates and visible rust through on the rear bumper of the SEL lead to the logical conclusion that these cars had some winter driving with road salt exposure and the rust that always is the end result. That makes these parts cars that aren't worth doing rust repair. I've owned both of these models, when in excellent condition these are great driving cars but they are gas guzzlers that can be very expensive to fix.
Incredible!😮
What an amazing find 😮
Lovely house. Love the two Benz hope they go to a good home there very nice
That Mercedes, in that condition, is worth $15,000. I don’t get it.
Great video! Lovely house, awesome master bathroom! Love that tub! ❤
Beautiful ❤ love the fireplace
Me too!!
At 14:44 the three wooden guys hold a wooden bowl in the center of them. You spread them out evenly and they lock, creating a base for the bowl. They're from Africa, South Africa. My grandfather collected a lot of them.
Be nice if there was water. Could wash the cars and cover them back up. It's a shame they're just sitting there.
WOW BRO AWESOME .!!!!
Crazy good find man! I don't know how you get all of these locations but keep up the good work!
Love this house, that white bowl is the center & the little what you called plates go around it so the food goes on plates & like the dip goes in white bowl. Love that buffet for dining room that plates were on
That 2-door mercedes is sweet. it's a 1987 model with a 5.5 litre v8. Those things fly and are worth well over 50 grand in mint condition. Love it. 👍
❤❤❤❤ beautiful 😍
The end of the house with the second kitchen could be a mother in law suite.
Hi from Canada. This place Is really nice
I don’t understand how the family could let it rot after the passing of the owners. Obviously someone tried to upkeep it since there’s tools inside.
True!
Maybe the surviving family couldn't afford to take all this over including the expensive to maintain Mercedes.
@@user-ru6mg5uu7i sell it all instead of letting everything rot
@@user-ru6mg5uu7itrue… but abandonment? That’s crazy. Sell!!
Love that furniture, such craftsmanship.
Hi. Quick question...in this video you mentioned you have a son. I didn't know that. I watch your videos often. Love them!! 🥰
I didn't know he has a son!😱
It's his step son to his new fiance ❤ his an amazing dad ❤
I love this house it was well taken care of
Love this entire home that jacuzzi is great except ( no rug please) just tile
Beautiful house. What a shame it's been abandoned for so long. You would think the family would have cleared it out after the owners passed on. Looks like it was once a very happy home.
Matthew 6:19-21
I often wonder how a person can purchase things that are in abandoned houses?
I just came across your channel and I like it. I have watched a channel from across the pond about abandoned homes and I really like it, but this is the first time I have found a good one from here in the USA! Still while watching I am thinking why many homes are sitting abandoned and empty while homelessness is such a problem in our country. I am 63 and I know how homes that sit empty go to ruin. It would be much better to allow some family to live in it. So sad.
I really like that Dining room! ❤
Me too!
crazy, im crazy, the song
