We've been FT for 5 years. It was the best decision we ever made. Not only are we having the time of our life, but we're living this lifestyle for 1/3 of what it used to cost to live in our old S&B home.
I’m retiring RVing on my own a 62 yr old women ,, I have 2 yrs and a few months to work and have started looking for campers and trucks ,,, but I’m giving myself 2 years to get everything ready !! Including watching peoples like yourselves!! I love all the information your offering!! Thank you !!
Wife went toHeaven a year ago and I’ve decided after watching your video to set my departure date for 13 months 8/5/25 ! It was our dream and now it’s my dream. I’m retired military . Thank you
New subscriber! Full time RV Nomad since January 13, 2019. Solo empty nester. 2019 Jayco North Point 385thws 44'11 triple axle toy hauler. I love my RV Nomad life. 2 kids in college. Time to live my life on my terms. As an every other weekend dad for 14 years, coming home solo to a 5 bedroom place from child exchange seemed so empty. Now, when i open the door to my My little trailer .. the voice says welcome home, welcome home.
I'm planning on full-timing by the end of the year and have no experience at all, so I'm really nervous. But I'm so glad there are people like you guys to help me figure it all out. Thanks for the resouces and, most of all, the honesty. Many TH-camrs make it look easy and glamorous when the reality is that it isn't always like that.
Amen! Thanks, a new noobie here. We still are looking into when the launch date will be. (A few years from now) but looking into getting set up and perhaps meeting some new people. Names Kevin. 👋
i am on a fixed ssd income and can't afford rents. I already lost everything a few years ago and I love to travel. I'm a single 61 year old women...wondering if this lifestyle is a possibility? I am living in hotels on my savings. I spent the month of June bouncing around SD, WY, and MT...so I think I could do this.
It's a learning curve. I left my land that I lived on with a small RV, 26' no slide small camper. I bought a newer one 35' with super slide, and bed slide. And I left with a truck that the numbers fit, but the engine spun a barring. Stranded, and my best friend came and got me 250 miles south, hauled me back home and I could purchase another used truck. Bigger, 2500. So I left again. Had a starter repaired a coil, $500, and a week in a small but quiet, RV site. I left there, and went to a resavore for 3 days. Then I got my check, and back on the road. So expect the unexpected. 12 days to get from ND, to NM.
Hi from Ohio. I plan to go F/T this year, havent set a date yet due to too many unknown variables. Preparing my house to sell, maintenance projects to get wrapped up, waiting on contractors to start & finish 😂 Am planning to stay local for the time being to get used to the trailer and close to family/friends that can help. Will be my 1st time doing this without my husband😢 Am so grateful for TH-cam and discovering a wonderful community of people who are willing to help a newbie like me! ❤
We already bought a fifth wheel! Pretty sure the house is sold. My husband is a mechanical engineer and is getting his Rv tech certification. We both were born and raised in Mississippi and kids are grown….. finally time to go!! I’m looking so forward to finally being able to just focus on us!
Great video guys!!! We have been FT going on 2 years and our experience preparing was similar, but more “rushed.” We had our house sold before we even put it on the market officially. Chris and Martha, Venturesome Couple were our neighbors for several weeks in Seal Beach, CA Funny story, I was gonna do my monthly running the genny under a load for a couple of hours, so I saw Chris outside and walked over to see if it was ok with him…I always check if I see neighbors out. He said he didn’t care and we started talking and then Martha came out and she jumped in the conversation. I kept saying to myself, I know these guys. Then It hit me, that they are the Venturesome Couple. We hung out several times and had a great time with them, such an awesome pair!!! And, their solar array just blows me away, as well as lot of other additions/mods they have done. Really enjoy the content, the straight forward honesty and transparency, and you keep FT lifestyle positive with caveats. 👍😃🍻
That's a good advice, starting get ur stuff out of the house now, sale, giveaway, ect., i have a building my mom can keep at her home and i can put the things im planning to keep, like my motorcycle, and few things, so i save money that way on storage
Hey folks! We enjoy your videos We are 1 month into Full Time RVing we appreciate your advice and relate to many of your experiences Exactly in your same circumstances ❤
Just started watching you guys. Love the content. Planning to go full time asap. Probably 2 yrs from now. This stuff really helps. Currently in 2016 Jayco Jayflight 26ft travel trailer and I added 400ah batteries and 800w solar and 2k inverter.
We have decided to sell the house and full time in our Rv. We are not retiring and we run a business in Kansas but this will get us started. We haven’t set a firm date yet but we’re looking at May-June 2025.
That’s exciting! It’s a whole process for sure. Start as early as you can with downsizing and transitioning. We do have an online course coming by the end of the year that will walk you through every single step and help you after you get going. It’s everything we wish we had when we did it over two years ago, stay tuned!
If you are thinking about moving to Texas, Kemah is pretty nice. We used to live there at USA RV Resorts Marina Bay or Jackie’s Brickhouse RV Park. You can drive around everywhere on a golf cart and Jackie’s Brickhouse is next door. Nice spot to hangout if you like to bar and grill spots. If you would like to save money my wife and I moved to Green Caye RV Park. It is a gated community with everything you need. You pay $650 a month and your electricity is free at no extra charge. We have an enormous slot and could fit 4 cars is our spot with our ToyHauler
Kemah was nice. Last time I was there was probably 5 years ago & it had gotten way too overcrowded for me, & the traffic was horrendous. Not a bad price (I guess), considering ones up the road are charging extra for electricity. But then, I know someone whose sticks & bricks payments are $377, & mine was $215 (& it was my dream place).
My wife and I just bought a Heartland Big Country 5th wheel. We are planning to go full-time within the next year or two. We are really looking forward to that day!!!
Our date is May 24th!! It’s been a whirlwind because we decided to go FT in February. It was something we had talked about for a while and just decided to go for it. So excited!! Thanks for the in depth video!
I set my date for February 15, 2024. Glad it was postponed & I got this chance to watch this video. Y’all answered every question that I had. Never camped before, but have been living without running water for years, so I think I could adapt better than some. Just haven’t been able to find someone to do work on the house that doesn’t need redone within a couple months. I’d do it myself, if I was 5 years younger. It’s time for new scenery.
We decided about a year and a half ago to go full time. Our launch date is August 25th, 2024. We've been going through most of the steps you talk about. We can't wait!
Greatest information so far. Been RV’in 30 years, newly retired and want to do our Paradigm 310rl on our own with our 2 #campingkitties for at least a year. Very excited ! Thank you
Another word about storage units… most all of them either leak or flood, or both, & even if they don’t, if it’s not climate controlled, things will mold, & particleboard will collapse under its own weight. They also get broken into. I’ve yet to hear of any storage facilities that has reimbursed tenants.
My friend owns a storage facility. He has told me several times that 90% of people who rent units keep them 6 months-2yrs and then toss everything into his dumpster just to stop paying.
I’m starting small… downsized from house to condo and moved across the country., and therefore get to explore a new area….next will be taking our Jeep and camping in a tent this winter in the southern states ! Can’t wait .
This is an incredible video - thank you for being so detailed! My husband and I found we were tired of the rat race, we got everything we could possibly need or want in the “American dream” and still found ourselves unfulfilled. We started thinking about full time RVing March 2024, we’re planning a launch date of March 1st, 2025. Thank you for all the information and relatable content, it’s incredibly helpful!
Great video. Very important topics. I'm planning for March 1 to begin full time living. Spouse and I are getting things in order. Thanks for encouraging people in a positive way to live this lifestyle. So much negativity out there these days. It's nice to hear positive. Have safe travels and hope to see y'all on the road
Exactly, i wanna do it without struggle, that's why im starting looking for a remote job first and find my income before i move forward with living my dream
We are retiring in two years and exploring everything about FT RVing. It is scary and exciting all at the same time. We are planning on selling or sticks bricks. This video was very helpful, thank you.
We are so glad it helps! It's a big decision. We are so excited for you! We have a ton of videos on fulltime living. In fact, we have an online course coming soon. January most likely. It’s everything we wish we could have known before we hit the road. Stay tuned.
Recently, I had a dramatic life changing experience and thinking of RVing full time. I live in the sarasota area , the RV Show is Nov 7th, going to go and look around.
A great discussion on this very topic. Thank you as well for the web sites, I was literally going through those steps and grinding on an excel spreadsheet with limited data. Your video was perfect timing for me as well. Called insurance agents for quotes on truck, quad and trailer, got the “you need a physical address routine”, another surprise. Just logistics. Both budgets and weights, selling the home, major downsize to a trailer. What doesn’t sell would have to go to storage and your experience shed light on my conundrum. It ends up costing more to dump after paying for storage. Subscrbed!
We both retired and sold our 4 bedroom house within the past two weeks. Our launch date is May 21, 2024 -- our first stop in our new RV living will be the Alliance Rally in Elkhart. Our reason is we want to mountain bike & hike around the USA. Look forward to meeting you guys at the rally!
This video was really good ! I looked at how long it was …and thought I would not be interested….but you did it so well, It felt like we were having a one on one conversation with a cup of tea.
Ok.... My mind is blown... I didnt know you had a band. Being a music freak, I stopped this video, and looked your band up. Dude.... Im 61 years old , and Love Funk. I have to say yall are nothing short of BADDASS. I will be purchasing your music if its available. The decision to leave must have been tough. We love yalls content, But I have to go down a '' Reverand Barry'' rabbit hole. Keep up the great stuff.
We are planning for August 2026. Seems so far away at the time but i know it will go by so quick. We are watching. Reading, and just researching as much as we can. We camp in a popup rn whenever we get a chance.
You are doing it right! The earlier you start thinking through it, researching, planning… the better! Be on the lookout for our online “going fulltime” course. I’m hoping to launch it in a week!
Hi guys we stumbled onto your channel. Thank you so much for all of the information you're sharing. My wife and I are sponges and soaking in your knowledge. We watched your last video which was our 1st of yours.
We will be FT starting in Nov. We have a 1/2 acre full hook up lot in NW Montana. 7 months will be there and 5 months on the road.. Change and unknown is scary at this age (63). Thanks for the help. See ya on the road
We’re shooting for next spring as long as the market improves. We currently live in the mountains in NC which is a beautiful place to wait it out! We are going back to full time! We were full time so we miss it!
Thank you for this video !! We are just in the beginning stages of planning our fulltime RV living... I'll definately be watching all of your collection
@@liketheresnotomorrow our start point is Quebec Canada, so I have to try to find groups for Canadian ''Snowbirds'' our timeline was in the 3 to 5 year range... but we are planning to sell the house, drasticaly changing the timeline to NOW !! ... So RV living binge researching is now a priority on my TO DO list 😉😉
We’re excited for you and can’t wait to hear about your adventures! Make sure you sub or join us on FB. We are about to release our going full time online course, it’s what we wish we had when we set out. So much good info. Coming very soon. 🙏👍😜
Going through the process of shining up the house for the market. Should be listed by end of the week. It's a bit overwhelming but we are committed to the process. Plan is to full time in Florida🌞🍻🍻🌞
I want to I’ve watched several of my neighbors and friends sell it all and go! My husband is NOT on board because he does not have a WFH job… my daughter says MOM once you bought the trailer you wouldn’t have any money to travel. :) I just think the daily STRESS would be at least different if not less…
It has its moments of stress, but overall, it was a good choice for us. You just don’t want to be too money tight. We have had some doozy unexpected expenses.
Great video! We are in the process and are doing many of the things you have mentioned. We are currently living at a local rv park in our rig but still have our house. Still looking for our FT right rig though. Hope to meet up soon! Safe travels! Mike and Shelley
Weve just ordered our 2025 Valor today and will be getting it in November. The day we puck it up is essentially our date. We are already out of our house and at my moms. Our why is to see all 50 states, the national parks, etc.
We are getting ready to go full time with 5 kids (oldest already moved out or itd be 6) and this video was so informative!! Helped me feel more prepared and I took a lot of notes!
@liketheresnotomorrow I do have some questions regarding suggestions of timelines on how to transition from selling house to buying camper without being homeless in between because due to our home being 2200 a month mortgage I'm not sure we'd get the loan for camper prior to house selling (goes on the market next week) but I know you guys initially rented so you may not have an answer or suggestion! Also my husband is a disabled vet and gets a free lifetime state park pass.. do you know if that's just for entry or if it gives other discounts regarding rv sites etc.
@@kyleekuhl2981you guys should get discounts almost everywhere. We are actually working on a going full time course that details everything from choosing a rig, to the transition and timelines. Unfortunately, it probably won’t be done for a couple of months. This is how we did it, We got the Rv and parked at a nearby storage lot. Rented the house and when we got close, moved the Rv to a local campground. We stayed there for a few weeks so we could do the final transitions out. We leased the house for the first year, and we sold it.
@@kyleekuhl2981you are right about the loan though. Get the Rv first if you need to finance it. It’s a bit harder after you sell, from what I understand.
Headed out April 1. Hubbie is retiring Jan 1 and we are selling most everything. Buying our fifth wheel when hubbie gets home from a deployment in a few days
Thank you so much for these videos. I'm still in the planning stage at this point. I'm getting a lot of information here on TH-cam from ya'll and from "CheapRVLiving" also. He's been on the road full time for over 40 years now. I'm doing the downsizing now, and purchasing only the things that I am going to need for my full time SUV camping life style, yes I said SUV camping. Money is very tight, pay check to pay check. I'm currently renting a long narrow bedroom from a lady I go to church with to see if I can handle small living and I love it. I'll get to retire in 3 years and collect social security, but it will still be tight financially. Hence, the SUV so I can stealth camp if need be. I tried to buy a house at the age of 57 and was turned down. All I have is an SUV, so SUV living it will be. Thank you so much, this information is so very helpful and I really appreciate ya'll.
Thanks for the info we are in the planing stages at the moment...feel free to watch our video .Only now you raised some more questions thanks lol.. Also would you mind sharing what video editing program you use currently have Filmora but to expensive to use features thanks.
Working on making a decision - but it's been a struggle. I'm 65 and my husband is 70. We aren't getting any younger so its now or never. In order to do it we have to sell the house to get the capital to get the right rig/truck setup we want. It gets scary when you don't have the years to recover from a big financial mistake. I'm a lot like Darlene, the spreadsheet queen and detail oriented and a planner (probably to a fault). Guess I'm looking for that crystal ball that doesn't exist. Probably likely that I'm over-thinking it. Some days we love the idea but others we are on the fence....ugh!
It’s a really hard decision. You’ll need to be prepared for when you’re ready to come off the road eventually. Whether it be by choice or force (like health or family issue). You will not get your maneuver back from purchasing an Rv. Especially new. So have a plan if you are selling your house to do this. We took the money from our house and invested it. So it’s growing. We have more time than you though. Just keep doing your research and a clear path will be decided I’m sure. We have lots of full time living videos that paint a real clear picture. We also have a Going full time online course coming. It gives the step by step to the whole process.
Just started watching you guys recently. I’m really enjoying your videos. I’ve been dreaming of traveling full/park time for years and have been watching TH-cam videos for years. Long story short, I retired four years ago and I’m finally getting on the road. Last Sunday, purchased the small travel trailer, Monday, got my truck, today booked 31 days at RV Resort in Nevada, because that will be my Domicile. Why Nevada, closest State to California that won’t tax my pension. My lease ends June 30th, then I hit the. Please let me know how to purchase a sticker if you have them. Thanks.
Love this! We are out west a lot in the winter. Maybe we can meet up! Send me your address (you can go through our website) and I’ll send you a sticker. 🥰
Your registration for truck, trailer in Nevada is Brutal, very $$$, my 2022 Chevy 2500 HD just cost me $705 for one year, My travel trailer 2022 GD 2600RB was $860.00 just saying.
I used to want to go full time but now I’m leaning towards part time. If I could be out on the road for a few months then come back home and reset for a few month, I think that would be great!
For example, we live in Maine and the summer and fall is absolutely stunning! If I could go down south to Florida or Arizona during the winter months, I think that would be perfect. Unfortunately I work remotely and could do that but my wife is an RN and doesn’t work remotely. So I can keep daydreaming for now.
I was full time in a truck camper for 1 year until my camper totaled itself. I want to jump on to tell you a bad experience i had in Pinedale, WY by a mobile RV tech. His name is Kody and he sold me a used non working AC for the cost of a new one. I took him to court and he has been ordered to pay me $3000 and a year later has yet to pay me. He actually got me for $6000 and only has to pay $3000. Im just now spreading the word. I wanted to give him time to make it right. Im pretty sure he even changed the name of his small business to avoid law being allowed to come and seize something of equal value.
My husband and I have been dreaming of this lately. We're late 30's, no kids, LOVE traveling (my husband just hit his 50th state, I have one more to go + we've been to 20+ countries now). We have a class B so have a bit of RV experience, but would definitely upgrade in size if we went full time. We have 2 dilemmas. One we've both been at our jobs 15+ years now and have accumulated 5 weeks of paid vacation/year (that took 12 yrs to earn). We do love international travel too and that would be impossible to do starting at a new company remotely and getting maybe 5-10 days a year..so do we walk away from that? Ugghh. And 2nd..the house. It would be so easy to sell it, but we also feel it's a good financial investment. What if 10 years of RV life and we want a house again...but with property values continuing to skyrocket the price tag could be doubled by then and we'll wish we had kept ours. Ideally we could pay off the mortgage and just close it up & pay someone to mow the yard. Buut being middle class we don't have the money to just pay it off. To rent or not to rent, I don't know..
You are still so young to do this Rv thing. I’d say stay where you are, keep researching, if it’s meant to be, you’ll know. I always tell people, you dont do this life for the safe move or best investment. You do it for the adventure and lifestyle. It is NOT for everyone.
That new T-mobil home internet snafu is going to upset a lotta RVers. Time to improvise! On that issue of purging, that alone would force me to keep a homebase. 😂 However, your 5 categories -store, sell, give, trash, rv - really gets me thinking.
I wish I could do this full time. Even if it was as simple as full time tent camping with my dog to start. What I want to do, is spend significant time in a lot of the state parks across the country. Unfortunately for me, I didn't come to this realization till after I've specialized in my career and none of my skill set is good for remote working. Degree is in Animal Science, I conduct research on veterinary pharmaceuticals. Anything you do with Animal Science is so hands on there is no remote work for that field. But for now, I just take monthly trips to nearby state parks with my dog. One day though if I ever get into some remote work, I'm going to give full timing a go. Edit: The reason I mention state parks is there are a ton of hidden gems at state parks that each state has to offer and I'd love to see it and really explore it. Also I'm only 28, so plenty of time to get it figured out. If there are any suggestions for remote work with animal science, I'd be open to find out more info.
That IS a specialty (and very interesting btw). We live state parks as well. If we aren’t boondocking, that’s our go to. You’ve got the right attitude, just keep enjoying the weekends and keep your eyes pealed for opportunity in your industry. You never know.
@@liketheresnotomorrow yeah I grew up every year from when I was 12 till 19 doing 6+ week rv trips in the summers. I loved it especially as an avid outdoorsman. I started seeing the full time rv stuff when I was about 21 or 22 so too late to make a shift on my degree to something more viable for remote work. I finished it up and started my career. I like what I do and where I'm at, but one day I hope my experiences and skills could lead to be able to do this. Use our family's weekend place on a bayou as a home base and just go wherever whenever.
Hello love all the info and details you all have been providing. I'm in canada have you come across some one in canada doing the same thing but with names of companies to work with up here. Like gas, insurance, everything you talk about but in canada. Or joint between the both of us. Thanks in advance. Cheers
Can you please include a link tp your website in the description? I typed it in on google and all I got was music videos 😂 I'm really interested in all this wonderful info! Ive been wanting tp full-time for about 5 years now and hubby is just now starting to think about it! ❤❤❤❤ Thats SO exciting! He keeps saying "If" we go full-time. 😁
Just do your research and the math. While you can live in an Rv for less, it can add up. Depends on what you choose and how you camp. Good luck to you!
@@adamusred8308In your case, I’d recommend at least doing a couple of rental first to see which you’re most comfortable in. You might decide that you can do with less. Once you get one, make sure to inspect the roof every other week.
I've been living in apartments for 20 years. 59 yrs old. Single and no commitments. Now I'm considering a mobile home or RV. Would need a remote income until 65. Which idea would be best? Thank you for any wisdom. Blessings. Mr. T
Wow… it’s like everybody was lying. This was $5K worth of aggravation for a $800 appliance. The dealer’s case assistant was basing all of her statements on “notes” that are allegedly in their system. The notes in the system could also be false. Lippert is also likely not good with the flow of order information. And funny how EVERYONE you need to talk with, who allegedly placed the order, are never available and then they don’t return the call. I would have bought a new fridge myself, and kept it moving-even if just a small temporary fridge.
Great info! QQQ 33:46 I never did understand this logic … How are you “Saving” money on Gas ⛽️ if you still end up Driving to that next location? (A to B) If it’s 500 miles away… and you still drive there two weeks, two months… You are still diving that same 500 miles. 🤔🤔🤔🤪🤷♂️ Then all I hear is, “Well you’re not spending it that fast. 🤦🏼♂️ YOU ARE STILL GOING TO SPEND IT! 🤪🤪🤪
Sure but if you’re budgeting a certain amount, I’ll spend it slower to stay within budget because I’m not living as fast. If you travel twice as fast you might spend 400 in a month compared to my $200 because I’m going slower and not moving around as fast. It’s about staying in budget. Plus you’ll cover twice as much miles. I may cover the same in 3 months as you cover in 1. In the end, do you but the math still works for budgeting:
I’m pretty sure he means frequency of moving not actual mph speed. If you stay for a month at each place, that’s 12 moves a year. If you move weekly it’s 52 moves a year. If you travel for example 500miles every week that’s 2000 miles a month. If you travel 500miles once a month it’s 500miles. You will be travelling more slowly across America (or wherever you are going) but at 1/4 the cost. Plus you save on site fees, wear and tear on your vehicle… etc
So im hoping to get to full time rving by the time i retire but depending on how my money flows over the next few years is how soon im going to retire/semi retire. Like i would be ok doing customer service or something from home but right now its a distant dream but im working towards it asap
Planing on going ft next year May or June. I’m new to this. Been thinking about renting a camper for about a week to see how it feels. I have 2 homeschooling children that seem to be ready to do it too. They are 6 and 11. Any suggestions ❤
Renting a camper is a great way to get a feel for it! Each kind of Rv has a different experience. Class A,B, C are completely different than a towable (travel trailer or fifth wheel) renting will help you narrow it down. Also, We've found there are lots of families on the road with kids. In fact, there are full-time family Facebook groups.
@@liketheresnotomorrow cool thanks for the information. I’m kinda tired of traditional living and want my children to experience different places and environments. In the this day and time, have you experienced the effects of the economy as traditional home owners? What are other things I need to be aware of on the road? Like from state to state? As a mother with two children, was just wondering.
@@TheVeiledGoddess-nc3jt there’s so so much. lol too much for a post. We are about to release our going fulltime course where detail every single detail we could think of. It should be out in a few weeks. Stay tuned
We’re looking to retire at 62 in 4yrs and I’ve retirement accts set up to cover start out expense $94k,What is a good emergency fund amount to start out with?we have calculated our budget around to be around 3200 monthly, most say have 6 months in emergency fund,I want to know whats a set amount to truly have.
You know, it’s really hard to say. Depends on your personal situation. We wanted to have the funds to cover any major issue. Since we bought new on the Rv and truck we have warranty for most. However, we went with about 3 months expenses. Now, I wish we had more since I did lose my job but we were able to change the way we camp and make up for that change. It’s really all about your personal comfort zone and ability to be covered in case of anything major. Not much different than in a home really.
I’m assuming AVG is some sort of security thing you have? I haven’t had anyone else report this. Try opening it in an incognito tab on your browser. Or use a different browser entirely.
Just thinking about living in RV parked in my daughters backyard. Need to know everything. I AM 75 female. Need to know legality of living in her backyard. Jacksonville Florida
Yea, you’ll just have to get with your county and determine if they allow it. I’d start there before doing anything. And get something in writing. lol I have seen people build tiny homes and put rvs on property they bought, only to find out they can’t live full time in it, even though they were told over the phone it was. Good luck
@@liketheresnotomorrow it's beautiful, it's on my list too, one of the first places i wanna go, i love nature, so definitely places like Montana is my favorite places to wake up in the morning 😊
It’s a different journey for everyone. I haven’t missed or regretted getting rid of a single item. The things I kept were more family treasures or memorabilia. By the time I do a house again, I’ll want different stuff anyways. lol ya can’t take stuff to the grave. Let it go if you can, if not, store what you have to keep. It’s totally fine either way. Do you and what you’re comfortable with. There are no rules.
We are so excited for you. Being scared is totally natural. Take your time. Go slow and just figure it out as you go. If there’s anything we can help with, please reach out. You’ve got this!

I would love to hear your story !!! Amazing
I really am enjoying your informative videos. It is helping us to decide if we want to live full time in a trailer or RV. 😊
That’s great. Planning early is super smart. Thanks for watching.
Wife went toHeaven a year ago and I’ve decided after watching your video to set my departure date for 13 months 8/5/25 ! It was our dream and now it’s my dream. I’m retired military . Thank you
Oh bless your heart. I’m glad you’re still going for it. She’ll be smiling down on your journey, I’m sure.
Nice to meet family sir. My wife and I are looking into this.

Yay! Thanks for the sub. We release new videos every Thursday. Glad to have you along.
Not easy but soooo rewarding. If we can do it…. Anyone can. lol Glad to have you. Thanks for watching.
Amen! Thanks, a new noobie here. We still are looking into when the launch date will be. (A few years from now) but looking into getting set up and perhaps meeting some new people.
Names Kevin. 👋
Me too and I'm scared to death!
i am on a fixed ssd income and can't afford rents. I already lost everything a few years ago and I love to travel. I'm a single 61 year old women...wondering if this lifestyle is a possibility?
I am living in hotels on my savings. I spent the month of June bouncing around SD, WY, and MT...so I think I could do this.
I’m leaving for full time RVing on June 1st! I’m scared to death but I can’t wait!
I’m excited for you, I’ve been looking into this myself.
How exciting! I (Darlene) was the same way. It’s been a great experience for us. Not everyday… but most days. lol please let us know how we can help
We start full time the 1st of June! I am nervous but SO SO excited. We got this!! ❤❤
Update, update! How is your first couples of weeks going?❤
So true. Tomorrow is not guaranteed for any of us.
How exciting. We’re here for ya.
We already bought a fifth wheel! Pretty sure the house is sold. My husband is a mechanical engineer and is getting his Rv tech certification. We both were born and raised in Mississippi and kids are grown….. finally time to go!! I’m looking so forward to finally being able to just focus on us!
So exciting for you guys! It’s a big adventure!
Great video guys!!!
We have been FT going on 2 years and our experience preparing was similar, but more “rushed.” We had our house sold before we even put it on the market officially.
Chris and Martha, Venturesome Couple were our neighbors for several weeks in Seal Beach, CA
Funny story, I was gonna do my monthly running the genny under a load for a couple of hours, so I saw Chris outside and walked over to see if it was ok with him…I always check if I see neighbors out.
👍😃🍻
Thanks so much for the feedback. And yes, we found Martha and Chris very kind
That's a good advice, starting get ur stuff out of the house now, sale, giveaway, ect., i have a building my mom can keep at her home and i can put the things im planning to keep, like my motorcycle, and few things, so i save money that way on storage
Hey folks!
We enjoy your videos
We are 1 month into Full Time RVing we appreciate your advice and relate to many of your experiences
Exactly in your same circumstances ❤
We’re so glad you’re enjoying the videos and welcome to the RV life! 🎉
Just started watching you guys. Love the content. Planning to go full time asap. Probably 2 yrs from now. This stuff really helps. Currently in 2016 Jayco Jayflight 26ft travel trailer and I added 400ah batteries and 800w solar and 2k inverter.
Thank you so much. Sounds like you are well on your way!
I've decided! Set my date a year out. Scared a little, but excited!
That’s awesome. It is a little scary, but you’ve got this! We have a going full time course coming very soon. Keep an eye out.
@@liketheresnotomorrow thank you!
Thanks for the info. We’ll keep that in mind if we visit tx
My wife and I just bought a Heartland Big Country 5th wheel. We are planning to go full-time within the next year or two. We are really looking forward to that day!!!
How exciting! Good luck and safe travels
Our date is May 24th!! It’s been a whirlwind because we decided to go FT in February. It was something we had talked about for a while and just decided to go for it. So excited!! Thanks for the in depth video!
I’m soooo excited for you!
Glad it was helpful! I bet you’ll do better than most.
I'm going full-time on 18 SEPT 24 and retiring on 31 DEC 24. My biggest thing is getting everything organized and getting of things I don't need.
We decided about a year and a half ago to go full time. Our launch date is August 25th, 2024. We've been going through most of the steps you talk about.
We can't wait!
yay for you!!! August will be here before ya know it. Enjoy that journey
We have been full time for 4 years now and we have an Alliance Valor 36V11
Yay! FamAllie. If you guys are going to the national rally this month. Come find us
Greatest information so far. Been RV’in 30 years, newly retired and want to do our Paradigm 310rl on our own with our 2 #campingkitties for at least a year. Very excited ! Thank you
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching. We appreciate the support.
Another word about storage units… most all of them either leak or flood, or both, & even if they don’t, if it’s not climate controlled, things will mold, & particleboard will collapse under its own weight. They also get broken into. I’ve yet to hear of any storage facilities that has reimbursed tenants.
Very good points and info to think about. Thank you
My go date is November 28th to Quartzsite. Then find work camp for the summer.
My friend owns a storage facility. He has told me several times that 90% of people who rent units keep them 6 months-2yrs and then toss everything into his dumpster just to stop paying.
Yup. I can see it. Pretty much what we did.
I’m starting small… downsized from house to condo and moved across the country., and therefore get to explore a new area….next will be taking our Jeep and camping in a tent this winter in the southern states ! Can’t wait .
Such a great plan. Have THE BEST time!
How exciting. Sounds so much like our story. E are working on a going full time course. Stay tuned
Yay! See ya on the road.
Just starting to think about this!!
Exactly, i wanna do it without struggle, that's why im starting looking for a remote job first and find my income before i move forward with living my dream
Smart move. We have a. Couple of videos on remote work that may be helpful.
@@liketheresnotomorrow ok thank you, i watching your videos now on , thanks
We are retiring in two years and exploring everything about FT RVing. It is scary and exciting all at the same time. We are planning on selling or sticks bricks. This video was very helpful, thank you.
We are so glad it helps! It's a big decision. We are so excited for you! We have a ton of videos on fulltime living. In fact, we have an online course coming soon. January most likely. It’s everything we wish we could have known before we hit the road. Stay tuned.
Very good, organized information. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Union ironworker here, about to start my journey with my wife and 2y old. Thanks for the insight
Best of luck on your journey! It's a great time to be on the road!
Recently, I had a dramatic life changing experience and thinking of RVing full time. I live in the sarasota area , the RV Show is Nov 7th, going to go and look around.
Awesome! It’s a great time to be looking. We will be at the January Tampa Rv super show
A great discussion on this very topic.
Subscrbed!
You’ve got this totally under control! Glad we could be a part. Thanks for the sub
Definitely interested in health on the road. Thank you
We want to go FT, we talked a lot about this, but we don’t know how to do it. So your video is on point! Thanks! ❤
You can do it! Stay tuned. We have lots more coming that will help ya.
@@liketheresnotomorrow We will! (new sub) 🙌
We will be there. Section 9. Come find us.
Thank you! This is so helpful. We just set our date and we’ve been purging which is really hard but we know it’ll be worth it.
Glad it was helpful. Hang in there and keep the purge going. I swear it was the hardest part. lol
This video was really good ! I looked at how long it was …and thought I would not be interested….but you did it so well, It felt like we were having a one on one conversation with a cup of tea.

We started planning a year out and it flew by.
4 years from now. Thanks for the info. Canadian looking to be a snowbird.
Welcome! So happy to have you join our crazy journey.
We will be FT starting in Nov. We have a 1/2 acre full hook up lot in NW Montana. 7 months will be there and 5 months on the road.. Change and unknown is scary at this age (63). Thanks for the help. See ya on the road
Man, that sounds like a sweet plan. We can’t wait to make it to Montana. Hope to see you out there.
Would LOVE to know about healthcare on the road. Doctors, prescriptions, traveler's health insurance. Thanks!
Seriously looking into it. Our research is just beginning.
That’s the best way to start. We researched for a year before really deciding any details at all. Good luck in your journey
We’re shooting for next spring as long as the market improves. We currently live in the mountains in NC which is a beautiful place to wait it out! We are going back to full time! We were full time so we miss it!

Fingers crossed!

Well, we ordered the 2025 version of the 42v13 because of the two of you. So you have paid it forward. ❤️
Oh my gosh that’s so awesome. We are excited for you. Please keep in touch. Maybe we’ll connect out there on the road.
We are getting ready to go full time with 5 kids (oldest already moved out or itd be 6) and this video was so informative!! Helped me feel more prepared and I took a lot of notes!
Glad it was helpful! Please let us know how else we can help. It’s a BIG move❤️
@healthydarlene our debt to income ratio with both wouldn't work I don't think! We'd have to sell our home before qualifying I believe.
I love your channel been watching all your vlogs, thanks for sharing.🫰❤
Thanks so much for your support.
Headed out April 1. Hubbie is retiring Jan 1 and we are selling most everything. Buying our fifth wheel when hubbie gets home from a deployment in a few days
How exciting! Yay! Hope we can connect out there on the road sometime.
Gotta see my date! We’ve been saying no later than Feb 1
Good luck to you, I bet there are some SUV living channels out there
We are getting ready to go full time, still have to sale our house and truck. But I am very excited to get ststed❤
That is so exciting. Enjoy it all!
We close on our home May 29th!
Woooo hooooo. How exciting
St Brendan Isle, Green Cove ,Fla. great mail service!
Thanks for the info we are in the planing stages at the moment...feel free to watch our video .Only now you raised some more questions thanks lol.. Also would you mind sharing what video editing program you use currently have Filmora but to expensive to use features thanks.
Thanks so much. I (Darlene) use Adobe Premiere Pro. It took me a while to learn it but I do like it a lot.
Sold our house and expect to be in the 5th wheel full time in October. Can’t wait to not spend winter in MI this year.
I bet! So excited for you!
Great. Thank you.
Your registration for truck, trailer in Nevada is Brutal, very $$$, my 2022 Chevy 2500 HD just cost me $705 for one year, My travel trailer 2022 GD 2600RB was $860.00 just saying.
You're too humble Barry. You had the FUNKIEST band in SW FL IMHO! Carry on, bother!
Ikr! Every time he talks about the band I’m like… if they only knew. lol Hope you are well Peter.
I think that’s a great plan.
OMG, I for my 42v13 because of Venturesome Couple as well!! 😂
Funny
I was full time in a truck camper for 1 year until my camper totaled itself. I want to jump on to tell you a bad experience i had in Pinedale, WY by a mobile RV tech. His name is Kody and he sold me a used non working AC for the cost of a new one. I took him to court and he has been ordered to pay me $3000 and a year later has yet to pay me. He actually got me for $6000 and only has to pay $3000. Im just now spreading the word. I wanted to give him time to make it right. Im pretty sure he even changed the name of his small business to avoid law being allowed to come and seize something of equal value.
Yikes. Sorry that happened to you.
The purge was painful, but also freeing! lol
We are just starting full time in B.C. Canada . Did it all in 3 weeks .
We have a 22 high country 337fl any info would be amazing
Awesome. It’s an exciting time for sure
Video was great, but I kept seeing that tee shirt with ELO and Joe Walsh thinking what an amazing concert that would be!
It was! We actually detoured just to go see it. Barry is a huge Jeff Lynne fan.
Well done
Thanks so much. Appreciate you watching
@@walterp1028yes! Love that

We are up to the house is on the market and once it sells we will have TWO weeks to get everything out and into an RV. No problem...cough cough
You’ve got this!
Can you please include a link tp your website in the description? I typed it in on google and all I got was music videos 😂
I'm really interested in all this wonderful info!
Ive been wanting tp full-time for about 5 years now and hubby is just now starting to think about it!
❤❤❤❤
Thats SO exciting! He keeps saying "If" we go full-time. 😁
Well duh. I totally thought I had it in the description. Just added it. Sorry about that liketheresnotomorrow.net/
@@liketheresnotomorrow thank you SO much!! ❤️❤️
I'm looking into full time solely due to rising costs of living. Rent is 2500 a month. I'd rather put that into a proper class A
Just do your research and the math. While you can live in an Rv for less, it can add up. Depends on what you choose and how you camp. Good luck to you!
Because of work, can't bounce around. Looking for an almost permanent place to park is the only thing stopping me. Love your channel
Blessings. Mr. T
Best of luck!
(A to B)
If it’s 500 miles away… and you still drive there two weeks, two months… You are still diving that same 500 miles. 🤔🤔🤔🤪🤷♂️
Then all I hear is, “Well you’re not spending it that fast. 🤦🏼♂️
YOU ARE STILL GOING TO SPEND IT!
@liketheresnotomorrow even if you drive slow you don't save half. You save some but not half

Stay tuned
@@liketheresnotomorrow will do
We’re looking to retire at 62 in 4yrs and I’ve retirement accts set up to cover start out expense $94k,What is a good emergency fund amount to start out with?we have calculated our budget around to be around 3200 monthly, most say have 6 months in emergency fund,I want to know whats a set amount to truly have.
I tried to download the budget tracker and AVG shut me off your website.
Good luck
Hello beautiful couple, you guys never been in Montana? It's beautiful over there, glacier Montana 🥰

Figuring out the healthcare thing is the scariest thing. What it’ll cost if you end up out of pocket and network of providers.
Yep, healthcare has been a challenge for sure.
😂😂I’ve been in my house for 20+yrs. Marie Kondo get off my stuff!! I have so much stuff I’m not sure I’m ready to let go of!😳😬😬🤔
It’s a different journey for everyone.
Date set starting on the road may 1 2031.
Is your RV a grand design "imagine" ???
It’s an Alliance Valor 42v13. A toyhauler
My date is November 1, and yes I’m scared to death too!
I’ll be a full timer solo!
We are so excited for you. Being scared is totally natural. Take your time. Go slow and just figure it out as you go. If there’s anything we can help with, please reach out. You’ve got this!
Anyone doing this with children tho
Sure. We have met tons of full time families. There are all sorts of Facebook groups and channels that are dedicated more towards rving with kids of all ages.
@@liketheresnotomorrow thanks I’m looking to start full time June 21st of this year but I’m scared bc I don’t see any one with children doing this and looking for work for
Home or just seasonal had been a lot ugh Il keep researching
Yea, finding online work can be challenging. We did two videos on remote jobs that may be helpful.
