Hey guys I didn't have my camera team with me in Hawaii so thought it would be fun to test out a VLOG format using a small DJI Osmo 3 camera. Let me know what you thought of the format and I can potentially shoot more of these. I thought it would be fun to leave it without any fancy edits or effects and just leave it raw, to make it a classical vlog style similar to videos you saw when TH-cam came out during it's golden era -Owen

Hello Owen. I watch every video of you and I think they are the best. I remember that during Covi* 1* you we were making instagram lives and also IGTV videos. They were also unedited and awesome. I think this will also be awesome. Your edited videos are very good and best in youtube but by doing unedited videos you can upload more and with and increased speed and without getting stressed. Maybe you can also open a new channel for the unedited videos.

7:00 - "Why are you giving them that much power over you?" is exactly it.
(that much power over your perception of yourself).
I would say that it's even more than just one's self-perception or self-beliefs that you are letting them take.
You are letting them take your most essential, core self-agency over your inner being-your hopes, dreams, even your future.
Don't let them take your power.

Owen and his teachings are like a living, breathing example of exactly how to live that cool life that mainstream flashes in our faces and tells us we have to be lucky, in order to live like that. Owen literally just shows you exactly how to live like that and I really, really appreciate him for that. God bless you brother.

@23:23 Tristan feels like he doesn't need anything from you because he knows your love is unconditional - he knows (from experience) that you don't need him to be a certain way for you (i.e. you don't need anything from him).
Not making your child feel like they need to abandon themselves & their authentic expression in order to be "loved" is the greatest gift you can give them.

As a hardgainer with social skills, I wanted to add a potential helpful perspective on the "social pinging" concept that Owen dived into here. Because it's nuanced as shit and the lightbulb moment I had with it really saved me from a lot of awkwardness and pain.
Social pinging isn't exactly "leader vs follower" in the sense that you 100% absolutely always want to be leading. In essence, your goal should NOT be to become immune to social pinging. On specific subjects and ideas, you maintain your certainty because it's your identity. There are specific things you can't and won't be moved from (your view of self, your core values, ect)... however on the more trivial/fun/little things in conversation, social pinging is natural lol. Allow that energy exchange to happen.. basically don't vilify this aspect of socializing is the crucial caveat. Took me literally years to stop disagreeing simply to disagree, or refusing to buy into someone else's frame on ice cream or music, solely because I had to "be the leader" lmaoooo.
You can build rapport by buying into other people's perspective and allowing their views to be valued too. But you've got your foundations and you stay strong to them.
It's some serious nuance there and Owen probably goes into it on his live trainings way better than I can write. But I think this comment might help someone out there a lot because it sure would've helped me lol.

i remember feeling like i was always the one fading into the background while others stood out effortlessly. it was frustrating and made me doubt myself a lot. then i came across this book, Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and it showed me things i’d never even considered. it’s not just a self-help book; it’s like a guide to understanding your own energy and using it to connect with people. if you’ve ever felt like you’re not seen, this book might change everything.

Its funny, when you went on the long thought shower of things that the voice in your mind is telling yourself, I've found likewise - personally when taking a couple of grams of mushrooms, gives the exact same uplifting, positive, high vibrational connection to god like experience where all you want to do is uplift your close friends, do amazing things, have the best for everyone around you and live the best experience! I've found over the years of having these 'reverse PTSD' super clear, grounded, energized experiences with relatively low doses of mushrooms its stayed with me predominantly for a large percentage of my being, and when I find myself in a low, depressed state I've simply 'forgot' what life's all about. There is a fountain of spiritual wisdom in what you've just explained there. Its literally the key to self liberation and the path to higher consciousness. If everyone practised being in that frame of mind every day and seen through the lens of inner peace, the world would be a much better, more loving place. Thank you Owen, this little reminder has clicked me back into that frequency!

Owen described pumping his state with gratitude. He gets the payoff of what he already has, without needing it from what he doesn't have.
Ill-will and victimhood is giving others the power over your state. Therefore, he forgives everyone.
He's trying to create a positive ecosystem with "high intention" to share the positive state he has created.
The cup runneth over. This is the state of being he's describing.

I don't know. It's micro examining social interactions that RSD did - and he's doing here - that I believe played a big part in my social skills going out the window and becoming a social outcast for years. I had good skills. But I wasn't getting women. Then using David D's cocky/funny that changed. It wasn't just the method but it helped with my confidence. Then this RSD super analytical stuff and fwooosh.. everything out the window. Maybe just enjoy the interaction, believe you have a lot of offer, shrug if off if for whatever reason it doesn't work and find the next girl until it does.

@@realestateagent7184 Well I wasn't a beginner really. More of a natural with some David DeAngelo cocky funny advice. It was when I was transplanted into a whole new place with no social circle that things started really sucking. A lot of the PU advice made me socially uncalibrated even tho I have skills - go too far from one end of the spectrum to the other and then my sh;t results hit my confidence, so love that negative spiral..

How hard/how long does it take to reprogram yourself?
I have great parents/childhood so i think mine mainly stems from high school days where I experienced some bullying
But now I've been out of high school for like 8 years! I'm a lot better and pretty regular now but I can still tell I have these deep beliefs causing social anxiety

I love the positive version of Tyler. When you rant too much about negative aspects of society or spiritual woo woo stuff etc, not my cup of tea

@@patrickdyess7797 I love when he tells me facts, just like this video. The negative social criticism isn't facts, it's subjective interpretation. I prefer him sharing his experience and what works for him and staying in his lane, that's where I think he provides the most value 😊

He should wear this beautiful blue shirt when he is doing chill spiritual calming talks, and angry red shirts when it's time to wake people up and to get them to take massive action.

are the "voices in our heads" just the fruits from our conscious thoughts that we feed ourselves?

    • @arrelis6348
      @arrelis6348 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

A large amount of our thinking happens on autopilot, worries and things, they'll just come to you randomly, experience them fully and let them pass, focus on letting go of the underlying feelings and getting to the cause of the thoughts. Ask yourself when the first time you were thinking this was or why you're thinking this
