    i remember this one time i felt like no matter what i did, people just didn’t notice me. i tried everything-confidence boosters, social tips, you name it-but nothing seemed to work. then i found this book, Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and it completely shifted how i saw myself. it’s not just about being noticed; it’s about understanding the energy you project. honestly, this book made all the difference for me. if you’ve ever felt invisible, you need to read it.

    Just goes back to the principles that can never be ignored. Show value and let them show interest in you before you show interest in them. It's not strictly linear like Mystery used to talk about it, but it sure as heck still never goes away no matter how good one gets at inner game and spirituality.

    I’m dealing with this now and your video came at a perfect time for me Owen… as you mentioned, it’s so dang crazy you have to do all these things when you just want to help! … and spread good vibes! and they look at you as “creepy”
    I’ve been doing a ton of social experiments lately and one of them involved over-tipping at restaurants (undeserved) for my takeout menu orders mind you and I never got a single thanks or sign of appreciation.
    You gotta make people fight for your energy and validation… it’s such a game.
    I guess life in so many ways is a game and we gotta learn to play it

    • @KS-wk6uk
      @KS-wk6uk 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It seems as though they were playing the game before you realized the lack of appreciation for your kind gesture. They wanted to sit back and let you work hard for their approval. Maybe if you continued tipping larger bills with more frequency, they'd have showed you "some" acknowledgment. Many people are sucked into this pattern of pouring into others a lot of energy expecting they'd be appreciated.

    one night i was scrolling through my phone, feeling like i’d never figure out why some people just seem so magnetic. then i came across this book, Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and something about it caught my attention. reading it was like turning on a light in a dark room. it’s not about pretending to be someone you’re not; it’s about unlocking the energy you already have. trust me, this book is worth every page

    good to see owen talk about social skills again.
    Socializing and pickup should be dialogue, not standup comedy.
    I usually start conversations with a walk away body language to show I can walk off any moment( my time is valuable). and then tease them.. as they get interested, I see the change in their body language then I give them a bit more attention. then I ask them simple questions, give them chance to talk.
    what owen says about entertain and then people walk off is often a result of not having a dialogue or letting the other person speak.
    learning to not be always available is important. if someone say they gotta go( now focus is their time is valuable). I immediately shift back to me - I gotta go. thats frame control. whoever gets the otherside to focus on them wins the frame.
    if someone tells me their problem, I immediately tell them my side of the problem. ex: I dont wanna go to your place. me; but I dont go to ladies place

    I personally have an aversion to the "used car salesman" personality type. You know the kind that gives unwarranted compliments or tries too hard to befriend you. Maybe it's me, being from the northeast New York/Boston metro area where everybody is suspect. But when somebody approaches me out of nowhere and starts with that BS I just shut them down or walk away. Call me cynical, but I'm a pretty hard sell.

    Great video and I’ve benefited a lot from RSD’s content over the last few years. Initially I got hooked by the promise of dating success but through it learned so much about self improvement. Social skills and dating became just one aspect of that. But it does feel weird when we keep getting marketed free events… when they are not free…??? First thing I see when I go to the link is that it asks for credit card info and charges over $25. Seems a bit off… especially when you have preached about being skeptical. Honestly since it’s only $25 I’ll still probs go since the upside is limitless while the downside is fairly low outside of potentially losing a full 1-2 days. But still feels off and misleading when you keep saying free tour when it’s not a free tour. Will ask you in person I guess haha 😜
