I am really proud of MAPEX. The brand has always been underrated, but I hope it will get the acknowledgment it deserves and takes position by itself in where it must be. Thanks for this video. Looking forward to seeing many more to come
Craig is a monster player as is Russ Miller! And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how great a job Russ has done working with Mapex on the Design Lab series. They sound absolutely phenomenal!!! Kudos

How does the rack tom fits into a drum case with this mount on the side ?
Russ is a genius.
I like all the new drum mounts but I don't think it'll get off the ground right away. It's a lot more details and more tools to have to mess with. I don't know if it'll be worth it. But it's cool!
It’s cool but little too much imo. It’s just little too complex for a mount. and personally not a fan of how they look. I think the new Tama star mounts with the quick lock brackets and free floating system and rubber isolaters are still the best on the market with the quick locks also on the floor Tom legs and air cushioned floor Tom legs and bass drum spurs.
I'm a mapex (and tama lover) but I've to agree with what you wrote about those mapex tom holder. They seem complicated, heavy and they look ugly to my opinion.

the drums looked great, and sound great for clear heads...but, im also a live listener, i cant tell if i like a drum hearing it thru a mic set - but, when i find a great drum - it will end up with a mic on it for recording only... ya have to embrace that whole studio vs. live sound thing to enjoy it.... the hardware looked beef too...ima half 2 check mapex out soon...
The drums are superb but whoever mixed this needs to give it another go...............

Craig is a monster drummer. These drums don’t sound great though. Poor mix maybe? Very boxy. Loads of compression too by the sound of it.
Yeah but Ash Soan's drums still sound better, and he hangs his tom on a snare stand. Marketing is marketing, not meaning to take anything away from this product but simpler designs are more reliable and easier to repair and replace.
He’s literally sitting in front of the tom for 30 minutes and he didn’t hit it once. Hit the F*ckin drum already.
