I own the Warbird..! It's fantastic..! The only thing I can regret is about the strainer, the updated version has a better one.. I use it with the Evans HD Dry, and sounds amazing!
The warbird! I'm a huge Lamb Of God fan, and Chris is one of my favorite drummers! That snare sound is so unice and tasty, you just can't not love it

I have the 2nd gen Warbird. Absolutely gorgeous. Those shield lugs 😍 I use the same Aquarian heads he used before Chris transferred to Evans. Aquarian Hi Energy & Classic Clear. Love it to death
Same. I tune the top medium/low and tight on bottom. Remo reverse dot. Smoking hot snare and it rules all others that I’ve owned.
They all sound phenomenal! But I think the Machine snare followed closely by the Maximus for my tastes.
I really like the Craig Blundell snare, i have the Warbird, but don't use it that much.

I will take the Blunders special please, totally surprised by Mr Adler's snare, that's probably my favorite, all are brilliant but those two please my ears the most.

If you turn up the volume and really listen carefully, you can sometimes hear a double of his voice coming through the drum mics. At 7:15, when he says "Big, deep, fat sound" you can actually hear it before the main mic. I assume this is because the drum mics are closer to him. Sound really doesn't move as fast as you'd think!!!
I knew I liked the Versatus but I really liked the Craig Blundell Machine
These are all nice but something about the mapex equinox that got to me. I got one for a good price what a work of art

Holy cow these have really gone up in price. I have a few of the old ones from mid 2000’s. Only had one lug go bad on me. Couldn’t get a replacement from Mapex because they had moved on with their hardware so I’ll have to cannibalize my cheap one. They’re great snares though. I have better ones now but I’d be wary about taking a Dunnett or a black beauty to the bar gig. These look great. Trick through off, pure sound and canopus snares, great heads. Hardware looks good.
Daaaaang.... I dig all of them, but the one on the left is my fav. I would really dig knowing what the rest of the drums are... the floor tome and kick?

Sadly, as times go by, the reviews are becoming more weak. Is it a such big problem to do multitung? Completely useless video. All that said info can be found on Mapex info.
