I have rooted my phone and installed that Google camera it's works amazing portrait mode is awesome and working in low light is also very very good compare to stock camera.
But now I am facing only 1 problem, my phone's battery drain too faster.
Any suggestions for battery improvement please tell me..

You can enable camera 2 api without rooting your device. I have done that and g cam work super fine in my redmi note 4.

Hi Dhananjay I just want to know my phone bootloader is already unlocked and running on miui developer rom which gives weekly update, once I root the phone does it will stop receiving the updated and are thier chances of phone get brick.
