Last week I did factory data reset then i stoped every thing related to google completely..sadly my phone became crazy..the mobile data and bluetooth tethering and nearby share didn't work but the performance became much much better and every thing was smoother and the internet speed bacame fast and stable also the battery life became very good i don't know what google do with my phone.this video came at the perfect time thanks..sorry about my weak English

The best way to de-google ur phone is to install a custom rom without gapps and use alternative apps for those google apps. It's a hectic process but very much doable. U lose some conveniences too. And I'm sure there r ways they can track/watch u via custom roms too since the core os is android. I'm not an expert though, correct me if I'm wrong.

@@infotruther An API by Google for apps to check if the device has been tampered with. It can be triggered by having an unlocked bootloader, a custom ROM or root access etc.

My two cents: Better alternative for Google Maps: Organic Maps.
If you still have a Google Pixel phone or you are ready to purchase one, then the best OS alternative is GrapheneOS.
For much security-minded people GrapheneOS is a good reason to purchase a Pixel phone. 😉

there is "osmand" . All of them arebased on openstreetmap, and unfortunately it'll never be as good as google maps as it relies on community

Magic Earth is the best Google Maps alternative IMO

@@davidbrown6878 I think OsmAnd is the worst, I'd choose Organic Maps if it weren't for Magic Earth.
I think the routing and UX is just the best with Magic Earth.
I've used it some and been satisfied. It finds addresses better than OSMand, which I use for following pre-loaded routes on motorcycle trips. OSMand does a great job on that.

I love your videos but this is simply amazing. A question. Can we replace the system apps with the other you suggested to us and totally remove the standard app using "universal-android-debloater". For example, can we remove Chrome definitely and use Firefox? And... there is an app that can replace the Phone app able to record the calls? Thanks
its possible, yet you have to root your phone ans its too risky in any way
i used to to completely wipe chrome off my android! and a bunch of easter egg and dev testing apps.
You can only disable the app if your phone is not root. But it's all the same.

sometime ago I remember seeing a video on totally eliminating FB & the tracking FB uses (whether you use it or not) from android devices, unfortunately, I failed to do so immediately & thus far have been unable to successfully find that video again, any ideas?

Any solution for Android Contacts? as I'm tired of Google duplicating my contacts and then mergin/fixing it, takes decades, the phone stuck for long period, it gets buggy, annoying with the sync

But what about Calyx OS? or Graphene? and using MicroG for necessity Google services.
Exactly what I would do if I had a pixel. You can even relock bootloader after installing rom on pixel. It's like a dream for privacy advocates like me.
/e/OS also has more than 200 supported devices for anyone who wants to check it out. It comes without google services and no google apps, but you are still able to install any google app like maps, youtube etc if you want. Your privacy will still continue due to tracker blocking, fake location, fake IP address etc.
All trackers are blocked and your data will not be shared so openly. The OS makes sure to leak data if necessary for functions or apps to still work. The OS still has flaws etc, but now the first stable version that is still more of a beta version has been released. Flashing is very easy and detailed instructions are provided. The app lounge, their custom play store, does not require an account and has imported all the apps you could find in the play store. I haven't yet found an app that I am unable to install. There are sometimes issues with google-login options for different apps and some apps require you to download the app from the play store (only one I found in my daily usage was the mcdonalds app). You are not per default able to install the google play store (but you don't have many reasons to do. With the fake locations there is no way to use google maps or other GPS dependent navigation apps, but you can swipe left on your home screen and disable the blocker within 1 second. Very nice UI and very much customization possible.
Still the shittiest ROM to this day ... 🙂

It's about privacy, not not using Google for anything. TH-cam can still be used privately without giving away personal data like location, name, contacts, etc.

Excellent info but, this is not degoogle, you just removed the consent to some option. In some cases they do not change the monitoring that google has on you, such as maps for example, even without using it and even without active PGS they know your constant approximate position, in other ways, such as networks between devices, which even if disabled work the same.
You should completely remove google to be sure... at least from that point of view because then... uff

Even with custom rom, they can actually track using trackers in popular apps though. That can never be turned off.
You are literally running google software even when using a custom rom. There is no way to escape the botnet
@@Pianoplayer104 if I'm not mistaken ther are many custom roms and you can have them without gapps before you actually install the device, which limits Google from tracking you and you can get apps without the Google play store. Thus limiting their reach

Telegram is NOT end to end encrypted by default. The only E2EE chats are secret chats, which have to have it enabled manually, and they don't sync to other devices.

I switched as much as i could of services that Google provide, to Samsung alternatives, since i own a Samsung Tablet and Phone, like, i Switched from Google Assistant to Bixby, Google Lens to Bixby Vision, Google Chrome to Samsung Internet ,Gmail to Samsung E-Mail, and so on.
