Obviously peanuts, beer nuts are not the 🎉ones to eat , it probably makes sense as peanut oil, peanut butter are not recommended as l used to eat a lot of nuts especially peanuts as they were much cheaper to buy.

Almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, Brazil nuts these are very high in oxalate.
Night watering.
@HuongBui-cy5rg, you've highlighted an important consideration about oxalates in nuts. Do you have any strategies for managing oxalate intake while enjoying nuts, or have you found alternative snacks that work better for you?
@@DiabetesF Do check Google : night watering.
@@DiabetesF I eat them with cheese. The dairy and calcium bind the oxalate, in addition, macadamia, pecans , pistachios and pumpkin seeds are lower in oxalate.
@@HuongBui-cy5rg LOL! The exact opposite of what to do to avoid kidney stones. Calcium binding with oxalate's is what causes kidney stones. Stop getting your info from the internet. People prone to kidney stones are going to get them no matter how much oxalate containing greens and nuts they avoid. Because they are genetically predisposed to them because of digestive issues. The body produces the oxalates through digestion, in people prone to kidney stones oxalates bind with calcium like pearls in an oyster, solidify and accumulate. Paranoid about oxalates because some idiot guru said they are bad for you? Drink plenty of water through the day.

These nuts not only increases liver fat but also elevates sugar level. My consumption of these nuts continuously for 2 months put me fatty liver II and FBS 160. SGPT 49. After stopping this SGPT stood 24 and FBS 102.
Use minimum quantity only.
@bansuriravi6202:
Ravi, thank you for sharing your experience with us. Your journey underscores the importance of personalized nutritional advice. Let's continue to share and learn from each other's experiences.
It is the elevated blood sugar creating the fatty liver, not dietary fat intake.
Almonds and cashews are my favorite

Doc.how about boil peanut can eat diabetic people thanks
@deliarosetabaniag5073 We're glad you asked about boiled peanuts! 👍 Boiled peanuts have a lower glycemic index compared to other forms, making them a better choice for diabetics. They can be included in your diet in moderation. What other snacks do you find helpful in managing diabetes?
I have been eating walnuts but read that just 4 Brazil nuts a month can be enough for health benefits, would it be safe to eat the walnuts daily and have 1 Brazil nut a week or would that be overload?
Thanks for sharing your question! You're on the right track exploring how different nuts can benefit your health, especially as a diabetic. Walnuts are fantastic for their omega-3 fatty acids, while Brazil nuts are super high in selenium, which is great but can be toxic in high amounts. Your idea of eating walnuts daily and including one Brazil nut a week sounds like a balanced approach, though it’s always best to consult with your healthcare provider to tailor any diet to your specific needs. 🌰
Have you noticed any changes in your health since incorporating nuts into your diet?
@@DiabetesF
I am not Diabetic or pre-diabetic but I noticed that my A1C has increased the last two times I have had 4 yearly checks, no comment from the person giving me the results except it is fine. I was surprised when I checked previous years because I am not a heavy carb eater and walk well over a 100,000 steps a week and am a slim 73 years old. I then started researching online and found there is a lot of conflicting information but I did see that A1C does rise as we age. I decided that fine was not good enough for me and am trying to lower my A1C by a couple of points. I have only been taking the walnuts for about a month so as yet don’t really feel any different. Thank you for your reply to my question.
What about pine nuts
Great question about pine nuts! 🌲 Pine nuts are indeed a fantastic option for diabetics due to their healthy fats and low glycemic index, which can help manage blood sugar levels. Have you tried incorporating pine nuts into your diet? If so, we'd love to hear how you've used them in your meals! 🥗

Age can indeed influence A1C levels, and incorporating nuts, as discussed in our video "7 Best Nuts for Diabetics," might help manage blood sugar more effectively. 🌰 Have you tried adding any specific nuts from our list to your diet yet? What changes have you noticed?
It is a good indication that your insulin resistance is slowly building, and the pancreas is no longer able to produce enough insulin to keep the numbers down. Get some carbs out of the diet.
@@johnsonpaul1914 Thanks I thought I was a low carb eater. I am trying to incorporate eating hacks, I don’t eat breakfast, have started eating flax seed after lunch and walnuts after evening meal, always eat my vegetables first. For example I had vegetables followed by a chilli for my evening meal, which was at 5 o’clock . That’s it until 11am tomorrow. I have lost a little weight, which I really don’t need or want to do.
The nut, going to start eating, is Brazil.Nuts, they are good for the kidneys, they have selenium in then,
That's wonderful to hear! 🌰 Brazil nuts are indeed a great choice, especially for their selenium content which is beneficial for the kidneys and overall health. Have you tried incorporating any other nuts from the list into your diet? 😊🥜
What about peanuts? Don't they help in blood sugar control?
@guilherminarjm2611, great question! Peanuts, although technically legumes, are often included in discussions about nuts due to their similar nutrient profiles. They can be a good choice for managing blood sugar because they're low in carbohydrates and high in protein, fiber, and healthy fats. Have you tried incorporating peanuts or peanut butter into your diet as a way to help control your blood sugar levels? Also, are there any specific ways you enjoy eating peanuts that you'd recommend to others?
Are these ok if the patient is also uric acid patient
Thanks for watching our video on the best nuts for diabetics! 🌰 When it comes to managing both diabetes and high uric acid levels, it’s crucial to choose foods wisely. Some nuts may be better than others in such cases. Have you consulted with your healthcare provider about which nuts might be best for your specific situation? Their guidance can be invaluable. 😊
very nice video with a great explanation. Also, you can have diaplan tea from Planet Ayurveda
@user-zn6rs1uf1m, glad you enjoyed the video and found the explanation helpful! Have you tried diaplan tea or any other supplements that you've found beneficial in managing diabetes?
What about groundnut I am taking regularly because it is called almond of poor people please inform.
Groundnuts, or peanuts, are indeed a nutritious option and often referred to as the "almond of the poor." They are rich in healthy fats, protein, and fiber, which can be beneficial for managing blood sugar levels. Have you noticed any positive effects from including them in your diet? 🥜😊
beef and pork nuts do me ok, but those from plants just raise my glucose
Thank you for sharing your experience! It's interesting to hear how different foods affect blood glucose levels. Have you tried incorporating any other plant-based foods in your diet that work well for you? 🌰🥜 Your insights could be really helpful for others in the community!
@@DiabetesF About three times a week I will have one of two things. 3 full stalks of celery or half a romaine heart. Both with homemade blue cheese dressing. Otherwise it is all fatty meat or eggs.
I love Hazel nuts. Basically you can purchase mixed nuts with all the nuts mentioned. Don't ever try fuk-nuts. 😂
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and humor! 😄 Hazel nuts are indeed a fantastic choice for their health benefits. Have you found a particular mix of nuts that you enjoy, or do you prefer to stick with hazel nuts? Also, curious to know-what's your favorite way to incorporate them into your meals or snacks? 🥜
@@DiabetesF As you've mentioned , control of the quantity of intake is crucially important. I prefer to have a mixture of the nuts.
Here in South Africa, I purchase a bag of mixed nuts. It's all tasty with Hazel nuts being the best in my opinion.
I have also been eating Java plum (Jamun fruit), which is very efficient in insulin control. You can research the fruit on Google. Also Tamarind, sweet and sour tasting. Some people make a juice with Tamarind and Ginger. The videos are on TH-cam.
Thank you.
ALOT ofwalnuts have been open too long andGO RANCID
Thank you for the heads-up! 👍 Freshness is key when it comes to nuts. How do you usually store your walnuts to keep them fresh? We recommend keeping them in an airtight container in the fridge. 🥜🌰
nuts are great, but many people are allergic to nuts!.. i hated it when people " eat more nuts, more ect" im allergic to lots of food and has been last 30 years!
Thank you for bringing up such an important point! 🌰 Allergies can definitely make dietary recommendations challenging. We're curious, have you found any particular alternatives to nuts that work well for you, especially considering your diabetic dietary needs? Sharing your experiences might help others in our community who face similar challenges!
what about lectins?????????????????

I prefer nuts as a snack
Thank you for sharing! We're thrilled to hear that you prefer nuts as a snack 😊. Which of the nuts mentioned in the video is your favorite? 🥜🌰
It is difficult for me to take this very seriously. I do not disagree with the nuts as a benefit for diabetes; however, mentioning the intake of oatmeal, and whole grain anything seems to be counteractive to me. If you are a diabetic that can eat oats and wheat, I a'int mad, I am jealous.
@Robert31352, it's understandable that individual responses to foods like oatmeal and whole grains vary greatly among people with diabetes. It's all about finding what works best for you. Have you discovered any specific foods or snacks that you tolerate well and help manage your blood sugar?
Cashews have too many carbs.
@janetbegelfor6223 Absolutely, Janet, cashews do contain more carbs than some other nuts. It's always a good idea to monitor portion sizes with nuts, especially cashews, if you're managing diabetes. Have you found another type of nut that works better for your diet?
