    Thank you for this! 4 out of 5! I start my mornings with 250ml of water with maybe 1.5 teaspoons total of squeezed lemon juice. And then I have my black coffee sprinkled with some cinnamon together with an oatmeal and fruits breakfast. I take apple cider vinegar and water occasionally especially when I have bouts with acid reflux and it does wonders eliminating reliance on pharmaceutical solutions. At night, after dinner, I have 2-3 cups of green tea which I found helps me sleep better.

      @@DiabetesF I've always relied on ACV as an alternative to Nexium (Esomeprazole) the brand that was prescribed to me for acid reflux. ACV somehow acts to assist the stomach in digesting food better and prevent stomach acid from blowing up the esophagus. Also, I've read somewhere that taking one tbsp of vinegar with a glass of water 30 mins. before a meal should help reduce glucose spikes by as much as 30%.

    I believe chia seeds, and flex seeds are also good for high cholesterol, but I discovered that sprinkling both on my meal or salad, lowered my blood pressure. I went from, high 160 SBP, and 90s DBP, to about, 90/40. It was ok for me bc I am small built. Plus my actual elevated B/P was from the side affects of another 2 medication that caused me to retain fluids. I believe it was the omega 3 in the chia, and flex seeds that reduces the b/p. So read up before you take anything. That day, I had picked my b/p med I had asked my Dr. to double the dose. Luckily I decided to check my b/p before taking the pill otherwise I might not have had a good ending.

    One caution for those few out there that have a artificial heart valve like me, you may want to stay clear of green tea as it has vitamin K and does not play well with blood thinners maybe one cup a day can work as it will act like a antidote to the blood thinners you are taking if you drink too much. Your regular blood tests will tell if it's a problem or not and if so you can have your dose of blood thinners adjusted. If you have a artificial heart valve you probably already know the do's and don'ts of food intake. Everyone is different their bodies act differently to certain foods and beverages.

      ⚠️ Thank you for sharing this important caution regarding green tea and artificial heart valves. • @DiabetesF
      @DiabetesF  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ☕ It's interesting to hear about your long-standing preference for black tea with condensed milk over the years. While black tea can be a comforting and enjoyable beverage, it's essential to be mindful of any dietary choices, especially if you have specific health concerns like diabetes. The addition of condensed milk can add sweetness and calories to your tea, which may impact blood sugar levels. If you're managing diabetes or any other health condition, it's a good idea to consult with a healthcare provider or registered dietitian to ensure your diet aligns with your health goals and dietary needs. They can provide personalized guidance based on your unique situation.

    I’ve been drinking pure juices squeezed 1/2 Orange and 1/2 Lemon together in one glass with no water. Am I right with this procedure??

      @puritagarcia7326 🍊🍋 Freshly squeezed juices can be a good source of vitamins, but remember that fruits naturally contain sugar, which can impact blood sugar levels. It's always a good idea to consult with a dietitian to fit it into your dietary plan, especially if you're diabetic.

    I was 2 drink lemon water but i had severe gase then some one said its lemons any advice and wher do i find green tea in Zambia africa please help me

    • @DiabetesF
      @DiabetesF  ปีที่แล้ว

      🍋🤔 It's possible that lemon water might not agree with everyone's digestive system. If you find it's causing you discomfort, it might be best to consult with a healthcare provider to ensure it's suitable for your personal health needs. As for green tea in Zambia, you can usually find it at supermarkets, health food stores, or online retailers. Look for brands that ship to your location. Always good to have a variety of options for your morning routine! 🍵✨ Stay healthy!
