I am not diagnosed with pre-diabetes or diabetes, but Im sure I have insulin resistance. Over the years I expressed my concerns to my doctors (different primary physicians) that I get tired after eating my meals, they tested my A1C always come back in normal range. I know if I continue to eat carb, years later I will definitely be diabetic. So I cut out carbs in my diet (only have it occasionally) I eat broccoli, steak and egg for breakfast, I feel energetic and no more brain fog. Of course exercise most of the days, so Im sure that helps a lot too.
Same with me A1C always normal, until one of the many Doctors I went to, sent me to lab for a HOMA-IR this test 100% will tell you if you are insulin resistant
I have food sensitivity was tested and eliminated digestive disorders disorders. I cannot consume eggs or dairy. Have had good results with fish and zucchini for bfast.
Most of these breakfasts would leave me hungry. I think I'll stick with my zucchini (or bok choy), tomato, and tofu (plus herbs and spices) stir fry, a small serving of fruit, and an almond flour microwave muffin (or occasionally multigrain toast). It has worked well for years and I can grow zucchini and tomatoes myself, making it a bit more enjoyable.
@@ange4739 Sure. I got the original someplace online, but I've modified it a bit. The instructions look long, but this is easy to do, even when only1/2 awake. It uses almond flour, baking powder, butter, and an egg. I usually add some flax seed and sesame seeds. It can be modified to add cheese and bacon bits or tomato pieces or whatever you like. Sometimes I add lemon juice and zest and poppy seeds and maybe a bit of sweetener. I keep a mixture of the almond flour and baking powder in a mason jar in the refrigerator so that I don't have to measure it out separately. The ratio is 3 cups of almond flour to 3 tablespoons of baking powder (and I use 1/4 cup of the mixture). 1 tablespoon butter (I use salted and add no extra salt to the recipe.) 1 egg 1/4 cup almond flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder Melt the butter in a microwave safe ramekin (or a mug). It will take 30 -40 seconds. When the butter is melted, add the egg and mix thoroughly. Add the almond flour and baking powder and mix completely. The batter will be a bit thin. If you want to add some flax seed (a couple of spoonfuls) at this point and/or sesame seeds, it will make the batter thicker, but that doesn't seem to make a difference in the end product. Cook it on full power for 99 seconds. When you take it out, let it cool a bit, then loosen the sides of the muffin and turn it out. You can slice it in half and toast it in a toaster on a cast iron skillet.

How do u feel about the ama recommendation for diabetics to avoid egg yolk. Studies have linked yolk of egg to diabetes ? I avoid eggs, Oats, so called wheat toast, cottage cheese all cheese. I eat raspberries minimally but count their carbs. My breakfast is liquid egg white some spice. Each day. Or a side garden salad with a low carb dressing and I watch out for added sugars. I'm pre diabetes determined not to end up like my parents.
Please talk about Ka’Chava. I drink it with Kroger carbmaster milk only 3 carbs in this milk. Blend it up the chocolate flavor or vanilla and it is filling. 25 carbs but 9 grams of fiber 25 grams of protein. You are drinking only 16 carbs here!
We are going grocery shopping in 1 hour time we will pick all the ingredients you suggested for the breakfast 🤩👍 now no need to write grocery shopping list thanks Doktor Ergin 😁😄👍 I’m not sure about the Chia pudding early on the morning but might try the cheese 🧀 cottage one 🤓 I usually blend some oats with unsweetened cacao powder and chia seeds plus protein powder hemp powder and then I chop small banana 🍌 on top / Blue berries depending what I have it’s really quick.
I have horribly high fasting blood sugars so I started eating breakfast because eating breakfast with moderate carbs brings my blood glucose down. If I continue to fast blood sugars stay elevated sadly.. breakfast is my biggest meal. I mostly just eat 2 meals a day xoxoox

I rarely eat eggs because I have high cholesterol. At 63 my normal weight for 45 years is 98-102 except pregnancy and when I’ve been pre-diabetic. My 2nd baby weighed 10% of my normal weight 😮 this was 35 years ago. I take high dose statin because I have high cholesterol and have for decades even though I eat primarily vegetarian food. I eat gluten free because I am allergic to gluten I have an anaphylactic reaction (I break out in hives and ma daughter throws up) and this started 20 years ago. Instead of getting depressed I am choosing to be grateful that I live where good medical doctors are plentiful (I already made an appointment to see my doctor in 2 week for my new symptoms) I have access to produce and healthy food a mile from me and TH-cam doctors to help educate me alongside books from my local library. Thank you 🙏 for providing valuable knowledge.
Everything u have or had is exactly what happened and happens to me. Doctors cannot figure out why I started getting chronic hives and andioedema, am gluten free due to Celiac. Thirty five years ago was pregnant and had gestational diabetes. Now my A1C was 5.7 and one doctor said I was pre diabetic. Stopped eating sugar and it went to 5.5. I lost weight don't need to. I'm 5'6 was 120 now with no sugar 103 pounds in a few weeks. Awful. Also have cholesterol of 200. Angioedema also.

When I was eating oats with chia and flax every single day and exercises my weight was down, energy up and I wasnt pre diabetic... Blood pressure was normal. Im going back to that
I have a question. You mention drinking milk it helps, but I never buy it because organic milk is really high on sugar. I'm confused. If it's high on sugar, how is it good for a Diabetic person? I've seen it as high as13 to 20grams of sugar per serving.

Now I believe what my said about commercial fertilizer, it contributed to our illnesses.

MALK is a fantastic choice for a cleaner option without sweeteners or gums. Thanks for sharing that tip with the community! If you are going to try the oatmeal be sure you check your meter an hour and a half after you eat it. It will be the last time you do something crazy like that. Go back to day 1 and eat an egg.
@@missmayflower I guess I can understand that. You are adding things with more fiber so that will somewhat blunt the effects of the carbs in the oatmeal. But why? @@davidbarry9690 I am now thoroughly confused. My diabetes nurse said I must eat 6 times a day; no full cream dairy, only low fat or fat free, lean meat, etc. I don't know what to believe anymore.
@@malfan I would choose the middle. I was diagnosed with pre diabetic , and I find the best way to knock it down, is to do intermittent fasting, I eat my dinner at 6pm and make sure I don’t eat anything else till mid day the next day, 12 noon. That way I’ve done an 18 hour fast within in 2 weeks my waking blood sugar is 5. Or in others words I was at 42 HbA1c down to 31. If a ate 6 meals a day it would spike my blood sugar, it just depends how high yours was to start with also, if it was way high going into intermittent fasting might not suit you. I eat raspberries minimally but count their carbs. My breakfast is liquid egg white some spice. Each day. Or a side garden salad with a low carb dressing and I watch out for added sugars. I'm pre diabetes determined not to end up like my parents.
Thank you for these delicious breakfast ideas!

We are going grocery shopping in 1 hour time we will pick all the ingredients you suggested for the breakfast 🤩👍 now no need to write grocery shopping list thanks Doktor Ergin 😁😄👍
I’m not sure about the Chia pudding early on the morning but might try the cheese 🧀 cottage one 🤓
I usually blend some oats with unsweetened cacao powder and chia seeds plus protein powder hemp powder and then I chop small banana 🍌 on top / Blue berries depending what I have it’s really quick.
Welcome, Zcevik. Please spread the message. I appreciate you!
I make a smoothie out of oatmeal soymilk Greek yogurt blueberries cinnamon and flax seed and a little honey
Sounds nutritious @user-qg2qn3js1v! Just remember to watch the honey content, since it can still spike blood sugar. Keep it up!

@@juliasewillfarmer6073 we can only due our best at staying healthy. If we are living the “protocol” checking our blood sugar and eating proper foods and keeping fit the rest is in God’s hands. Being happy and grateful are the biggest gift we can give ourselves 🙏 🎉

Sir, what is your opinion on alternate sweeteners like stevia, monk fruit and agave? How will they affect blood sugar?
Which sweeteners to avoid versus good ones. For instance, is blue agave OK? How about honey?
Cauliflower rice "oats" is delicious.

What about the lactose in cheese and yogurt doesn't that convert to glucose in the body? And what about the carbohydrates? Looks like most those foods are high in carbohydrates which also converts to glucose in the body
What If I do not like nuts, blackberries rasberries and strawberries? What other fruits am I allowed to eat?
What about rye bread or pumpernickel bread? Is that ok to eat?
Thank u for all the ideas
I'm allergic to avocados and oatmeal. Can you suggest any substitutions?
When I was eating oats with chia and flax every single day and exercises my weight was down, energy up and I wasnt pre diabetic... Blood pressure was normal. Im going back to that
Thanks so much for this video, I will be trying some of these to help me keep my sugar down, I have been trying my best to not be on any medication’s.
Wonderful! You would love this too: th-cam.com/video/IJV1HeuiwWg/w-d-xo.html
Thank you Doctor. God bless you.
Is this meal plan good enough for pre diabetic?
Please share 7 day lunch and dinner please . I will try 7day breakfast. Thank you Doctor.😊
Sure.
I have a question. You mention drinking milk it helps, but I never buy it because organic milk is really high on sugar. I'm confused. If it's high on sugar, how is it good for a Diabetic person? I've seen it as high as13 to 20grams of sugar per serving.
Just what I needed thank you very much
Welcome, Joan!
Thank you for this information you have given to us. Can you put peanut butter on the toast instead of the avocado if you don't like them. Like a teaspoon? Ty for your help. I love everything else.😊

Cottage chees with pepper. Delicious.
What are alternatives to avocado toast and cottage cheese
I'm allergic to dairy and avocados. Ty
Thank you Dr E I eat the majority of your recommendations however you have given a couple of suggestions to give me variety, steel cut oats are proving to be a bit difficult to source in supermarkets nearby had been eating organic oats should I stop those, would you be so kind as to give ideas for lunche + dinners 🇬🇧
Learn more about oatmeal: th-cam.com/video/F7_kn3k-ygk/w-d-xo.html
Excellent information Dr E thank you for that, think will stay with granary toast, avocado + boiled egg for breakfast more than oatmeal in the future luckily I only added blueberries to oatmeal hopefully not too bad
My doctor put me on senior citizen’s diet, “ MEALS ON WHEELS “ . I’m not fat , but I am not in mobility cuz I had a slipped & fall accident, I suffered a dislocated elbow, fractured bones and injured knee. I’m 5’ 3” & weigh 126 lbs. I brought up, with no fat , any sugar or any bread, no process food in our diet. Diabetes was unknown to me until my husband brought to AMERICA . Now I believe what my said about commercial fertilizer, it contributed to our illnesses.
What kind of bread to eat? I'm type 2. I have been eating Sola bread I'm to eat avocado don't like the taste, but I want to be healthy my A1C 5.7
Big thumbs to this video...more likes please!
Hey Dr we are waiting for lunch n dinner 7 day plan 🤗
Will do!
@@SugarMDs Will be waiting for it 🤩

Keep in mind most Almond Milks in the USA are sweetened with Cane Sugar. I always get MALK which is not sweetened and contains no gums
Great point! Many almond milks do contain added sugars, which is something to be mindful of, especially for those managing blood sugar levels. MALK is a fantastic choice for a cleaner option without sweeteners or gums. Thanks for sharing that tip with the community! If you have any other recommendations for diabetic-friendly alternatives, we’d love to hear them!
Great information, thank you. God bless you.
Thank you @user-kf7vc3gu2i. Take care! Please share the video with family and friends
If you are going to try the oatmeal be sure you check your meter an hour and a half after you eat it. It will be the last time you do something crazy like that. Go back to day 1 and eat an egg.
Learn more about oats: th-cam.com/video/F7_kn3k-ygk/w-d-xo.html
@@missmayflower I guess I can understand that. You are adding things with more fiber so that will somewhat blunt the effects of the carbs in the oatmeal. But why? A wise man once told me "don't play with snakes " I think the same is true here. There isn't anything that good about oatmeal that you can't live without.
Love this direct list and with the numbers. So many people rant and i just slip most of the videos

thankyou so much as I have been trying to find a diabetic breakfast ideas. Can I ask can you give me a lunch dinner one as well. ❤
I tried steel oats they take ages to cook. Grains including oatmeal and cinnamon not recommended for fatty liver.
Two eggs and lemon water breakfast works the best for me.
Thanks a lot for Dr for your help

This is extremely helpful! I was just wondering if the dairy needs to have fat or is nonfat milk, yogurt, etc. are equally beneficial?

I don’t find it difficult to do at all.
going on a trip, so this will help for sure!
Thanks for the info.

Thank you Doctor!!!! I was able to reverse prediabetic from November 2021 to February 2022 at 5.5 .I recently did blood work n back to prediabetic 5.7 in June 2022....is a drastic increase? I can pin point what foods I ate..maybe a glass a wine here in there n no sugar icecream not too much, I'm just curious..
I am more discipline with foods n exercise (fyi) will test again. In 3 months oh my vit d level was sky high.
U can reverse!!! Healthy clean keto diet, mo snacks in between meals n intermittenting fasting atb16 to 18 hours apart stay away from all sugars, needs to be a life changing life style.
What about weetbix for tyoe 2 diabetes patients. Is it good
