Moved out west and quickly burned a whole in my pocket but I couldn’t be happier. Josh, I’m greener than you with long distance rifle and can 100% agree w/ you on the technology in this!! Confidence is worth the $$ and for calculating real time data vs me 🤔 doing ballistic math haha!

Haha! Glad I'm not alone. Thanks for watching and good luck out there!

I have this and a fury 5000ab. I bought both for less than the cost of the 10k.
I've tested both side by side with the 10k, the 8k and the 5k.
The sigs read faster but these will range the same distance as the 8k.
With a little truing I got it to match solutions with the 5000ab out to 2200 yards.
    I absolutely love this thing.
I like how the app is an actual stand alone solver also. The ab isn't and none of the signs bdx are either
I wish the divergence was .1x1.5 like the 5000ab but the .1x2 isn't a deal breaker it is nice on flat ground.
I like how these will also work with weatherflow not just kestrel. The 5000ab won't.
The 5000ab do range further for sure. The 4000gb definitely hits advertised plus.
These are also tough as nails.
I dropped mine (cased) down a mountain 600 yards bouncing off of rocks the entire way and it worked perfectly after. Had it not though vortex would have replaced it.
I use these at 1250 yards all the time.
Between the sig 5k and these is suggest these for function
Between these and the 8k I'd suggest these for price.
Again for the price of the 10k you can get the 5000ab and the 4000gb. You'll have a spare in the field for the same price or les
Back in the day I used a cheap optical rangefinder for bow hunting..

Just got mine, and other than being a bit overwhelmed with its capabilities and the how to navigate the menu and functions, I love it. The fact that it's a 7 power magnification is my favorite part, because you're basically carrying a very capable monocular as well as a range finder. The ballistics are the cherry on top. Now I just have to find a better combo harness case for my Binos and the 4kGB.
Thanks for the video! Glad to hear after a year of use, you don't have many negatives to say about it. And thanks for the note about the lithium CR2 batteries lasting longer... I'll have to pick some up.

Great to hear! I hear ya on being overwhelmed with all of the capabilities. It's pretty amazing. Good luck out there!

lol, back in the day we set up field round courses with a 100 ft tape. And forever all the 3-d events were unknown distances. I really enjoyed that more. That unit you have there is awesome for rifles. Being old school I still have my info taped to the stock. Bet it’s very pricey? 👍👍

Man, I enjoy rangefinders for sure, BUT it definitely pays to have the skill of judging yardage. I try to do that at the archery range. Yes, pricey.

Is there an improvement in distance from within the device or does it require actual use of the phone?
