@@unblahyourself the man I texted you a picture of said that my “clothing style is impeccable” and I have a “lovely feminine demeanor.” 😉 I gave you all the credit, D.
I’m one of your younger viewers more than likely, 20, but I love watching your videos because you’re real and so raw. I watched one of your videos about a week ago and immediately subscribed because of that video! You hold yourself so well and you’re so effortlessly classy, I aspire to be effortlessly classy! It’s refreshing to see more women who are themselves and not trying to follow every trend and trying to live up to social media expectations.
I love you Dianna. Please use a little cup of water instead of spit. Don’t want you to have to deal with pink eye. (From a health care provider perspective)
It's nice to see a finishes look that doesn't look... makeupy. I love the natural approach and I feel like as we pass the 40 mark we hear more about covering and concealing rather than hydrating and enhancing.
Okay, you're my new fav TH-camr. 🙂 Your little side comments are easy to miss but when caught make me laugh out loud. Thank you for teaching me how to wear makeup. I'll be 46 on Wednesday and this is the best gift I could receive. So glad I clicked on one of your videos!
Things I have changed as I swiftly approach fifty. I stay away from my neck with concealer or foundation. I have laxity and it settles, which makes it more noticeable. I do blend but I do not apply there. I value a tint over full coverage. As you emphasized, I ensure I'm hydrated and skin is prepped before applying makeup. I may leave the house without makeup, but not without skin prep and that includes SPF. I wish I had realized the importance of SPF in my younger years but I am pretty much the same age as you and we laid out with tanning oil to burn on purpose - we didn't think we'd care at 50 but we do. Oh, we do!
Thank you! First winge liner I could follow and do. This is subtle and they are usually dramatic. At first I thought I’d made a big mess in my magbifying mirror. But in my regular mirror, and especially ones I got mascara on, it’s perfect. I do continue to the inner corner of my eye with the very finest line. Thanks!
Eyebrows not growing in or thinning can indicate a thyroid imbalance. Get your levels tested annually if you don't already. I know when mine are out of balance when my left eyebrow starts disappearing.
These are great techniques that I'm going to try. But I can't help but notice that makeup has become so much harder now that I'm in my fifties...I have visible wrinkles on my eyelids that make drawing lines nearly impossible.
Hi Dianna I totally get your eyebrow dilemma...mine pretty much all fell out years ago. I did permanent makeup on them and although they need to be redone, I do like the look of them more so than the microblading. Have you ever tried to bring up the look of the right side to semi-match your left one. I'm sure you have...just a thought 😊
Love your green eyes! We have rare colored eyes. What’s interesting is that my parents have blue eyes, and I heard that’s very rare to come out with green eyes. What colors are your parent’s eyes?
Your eyes don’t appear to be green. Are they more hazel? Looks like they have a lot of brown flecks. I have light green eyes - no flecks. Plum eye shadow, teal liner and brown mascara seem to accentuate them the best.
Mine are getting more hazel/ brown year after year. Still if I dress in cool colors, the green will come out, but with warm colors you can't even see the green.
Hi Diana, Thank you again for another wonderful video - I know I'm not the only one who can't get enough of you. I know it's off topic but if it's not too much trouble, could you post the brand name of the v-neck linen blouse with broderie anglais sleeves and the weird barrel jean with a front seam from one of you French girl style videos. I've done image searches and searches like crazy but can't find anything like them.Thank again for all the fun content you provide. Also, I'll have to try the goof proof brow pens from Benefit - I have similar brow issues to you and I use Anastasia Brow Wiz that is very easy to use.
Hi! I'm SO SORRY to report that both that blouse and those jeans have no tags and were thrifted! I know. I wish I could be more helpful. Thank you for hanging out with me (even though I have no links!) 😊
Finally! Someone who uses their fingers to apply their makeup. This was lovely. Thank you.
I pretty much apply mskeup.with my fingers. Always have really since I was a teen. I'm 64 just like the Beattles song.
I don't have time (the desire to clean) any fancy brushes or applicators! 😀
@@unblahyourself I was just wondering whether I should unclutter some of the makeup brushes that I have lol. It’s a definite yes.

Perfect color blush🎉

And, to a large extent, covering and concealing can make us look older if we're heavy-handed and if we use products that get cakey.
I love your channel. At 41 you have inspired me to dance more in who I am
Me also! ❤

Yay! Glad you found me!
I grew up in the 80's. Ring around the eyeo with black pencil. I really needed this normal tutorial. Because i am so heavy handed. 😂🎉
My whole middle school look was the black eyeliner ring! It took a lifetime to learn a lighter touch.
looks nice and natural!
A lovely look at the end. I love the blush and how it looks on you!
I think the higher eyebrow is beautiful. Have you ever tried raising the other lower eyebrow to match. The higher eyebrow really opens up your eye! 💞
Yes but it was too intense!

You may want to switch to a cream eyeshadow or powder liner. Eyelids do change and we need to change with them! 😀
You're a professional on your face. I loved learning the products you use because it's exactly what I would love, getting to Trader Joe's 🎉
I love your look!
Thank you! 😘
