Diana, You are my 25 year younger self! Thank you for all your wonderful videos. They make me happy. But this one? I’m over the moon!!! I LOVE solo camping because I dabble with watercolor and it’s a way to immerse myself in the process without bumping up against anyone else’s schedule. But next time I’m definitely going to throw in some “campampering”!! Last month I came across a list on FB -“7 things I’d tell my younger self”. I embraced all but one early on in my life, but I’m still working on #6 - If you can’t beat fear, just do it scared”. I wish someone would have shared that with me a long time ago!😊. You seem to have picked it up in spades!♠️
I used to camp with my boys but would be so afraid to camp alone now. Especially with no one around. You brave ladies have something flowing through your veins that I don’t have. But I enjoy hearing you talk about it. ⛺️🚴🏻♀️
Enjoyed solo camping with you while wearing my unblah outfit of the day: a beautiful dress I haven’t worn in 12 years because I can’t zip it up anymore but I said “hey I’ll just wear it unzipped with a top over it!”

Omg what a wonderful gift to give yourself! Thank you so much for the inspiration. I would have never though about camping alone because I'd just assume it isn't safe for a woman. I've had to deal with being followed by random men, one time being punched in the stomach randomly, right in the street, and an untold amount of crazyness- catcalling, and being hit on while I'm pumping gas.....! I just feel like a target most of the time. So I can see how taking myself camping would feel completely liberating-- a beautiful form of self care.
I'm sorry you've had to deal with all of that nonsense! Camping doesn't have to be scary but I can understand how the world can feel scarier when things like that happened! Maybe try camping with a girlfriend and having separate tents so that you can still spend plenty of alone time?

I once canoed down the Delaware river, camped out and rode a tire tube! While with a group for the trip, but I camped by myself! I don’t swim so life-vest on and learned as I went! It was really a spiritual experience and it build my confidence! I was middle aged at the time!
This was so much fun! I do camp solo but never thought to make it into a beauty/self-care experience...I'm going to try this! I've discovered your videos recently and am really enjoying them - thank you so much for making these and sharing them...
