+sweet potato pie sweet potato pie All you need to do is set it to auto focus on a certain thing like faces leave it on that unless you're going to be at a solid distance from the camera also 60fps helps a lot as well but needs a little more light to look good and is only 720p but it's not a bad compromise for better filming capabilities
+sweet potato pie sweet potato pie I myself own a old T4i hoping to upgrade to a t6i or maybe a 70D soon enough but if you can afford it and can compromise some of the new features like wifi and that then the 70D will be a better choice since it has much faster and better auto focus
Im thinking about buying a canon T5i but now I see the T6i. The T5i is cheeper though. Is there a big difference. I want to shoot music videos and short films, and take some pics. Thats about it. Which one do you recommend?
+Jay Wayne here is a comparison I made compareing the two, for only $100 more I definitly recommend the upgrade to the T6i th-cam.com/video/xfNCrC2DJG8/w-d-xo.html
Jay Wayne I recommend the T6 not just because I got it but because it's a great camera with Wi-Fi and you can also transfer your pictures to your phone within minutes
I don't know if you'll ever see this or respond, but what FPS rate did you use? I use this camera all the time, but videos (especially when I am far away from the subject) look quite bad. I don't really know what to do, because I would like a higher frame rate but also not lower the quality. Still a great video, even ~3 years later
I used the rebel T6i for about one year now and it is time for an upgrade. Any tips what would be the next logical step forward? Even thinking on filming in 4K soon. Thanks, Greg from Tech Reviews
can I use this camera when I use for long distance shoot. for example my fiend is filming from long distance but I m talking through microphone. how long it will cover by wireless or Bluetooth ?
It's a shame that the internal pre-amp is crap, the built in stereo mics aren't half bad, but you get a lot of noise above quarter gain even when using an external mic, there really should be a line level input option in software for external powered mic's.
I really need help on the decision should I get the T6I or 80D I have a T3 guy but sold it to my cousin because he really needed it for school so which one should I get for TH-cam I wanted to get the T6i because it's a little less pricey then the 80d and and almost identical to the 80d I wanted the 80d because it has a much better autofocus the sound quality isn't too bad and it's water resistant so which one should I get
Thanks for all the great stuff on the T6i... just ordered the t6i creator kit and looking forward to improving my vids:) Thanks much!
Joe

Wow 5 years later looks like that investment really payed off congrats on all the success!
Are you using original kit lens 18-55 STM ?
He was using the built in the canon T6i thats why the audio sounds less crisp then normal
Alissa frank that explains it
I wish just one person would do a video test without putting music over it for once.

What lens ?

What video editing software do you recommend with canon?
Adobe Premiere Pro is user friendly
I can dream, I guess.
put it on my 'list' of things I want.
adobe allows you to pay 19 bucks a month for premier pro CC. A Must investment if your serious about video. check out my channel its all i use.
I understand. I use photoshop, and wouldn't think of using anything else...
was that the kit lens
Is auto focus really slow for anybody else in dim lighting? Or is it just me. And my focus ring on my lense dosent work after 2 days
Check out my most recent video for a video test montage, and let me know what you think in the comments! :)

Do you have a Facebook page? I don't twitter or flicker.
How to use video mode where is ?
Do you manually have to focus when using the camera in video mode?
Nope
I know this was posted months ago, but to expand on delacruz98, you can set it to automatic or manual focus (usually) depending on the lens
what type of mic would you recommend to be used with the t6i?
Rode video mic pro
what lens were you using?w
This camera is nice and it is nice how you made a video test of this. Thank you so much. i better start earning and saving
honestly cant decide between the lumix g7 and this as my first vlogging camera (other than my phone), any advice or help anyone?
this is an awsome camera i definetly will upgrade to this
That moment when the bee doesn't approve of being filmed and turns his attention to you and you stumble and drop your camera...I eff"n hate bees smh
do another video like this with the t7i please!!!!
is it a raw video
Is the t6i a good camera to get coming from a Nikon?
+Luke De Young Absolutely!
Anyone one knows how long can I record video on this camera?
That is crazy!!!!
look really good, but dat audio do...
he said it was stock t6i, so that was no mic.
I love the video quality but God that mic is crap. I mean why even put in an on board mic if it's going to be that useless.
Thanksssss
☺️
