The diet is in the book…The Galveston diet…the problem with this diet is that it doesn’t provide enough protein…I calculated the amount of protein per day and it doesn’t come close to even the amount she recommends

The word "diet" alone gives many women a negative taste in their mouthes. As someone who has been in menopause for about 15 years now, I can recommend you the following.. - cut sugar in any shape or form - increase your protein, fatty protein!! Eat good, healthy fats, your skin and hair will thank you later. - decrease your carbs as much as you can I went carnivore for a while beginning of this year and not only lost a lot of weight, but felt amaaaazing. But of course, being an undisciplined human, I fell off the wagon and started eating crap again. And I am paying for it dearly...lots of inflammation in my joints and clothes are getting tight, lol I will start again early next year. So do what you feel is best for you and don't let the word diet piss you off! Happy holidays 🎉
I have realized that sugar is bad! Not a huge Ah ha moment but when you can tell the difference, it kinda is. But I love love love chocolate!!!! And Nutella??? I can’t keep that in my home!!!! Drink once a day. Also rub a good quality clareysage oil on soles of feet every night. I have tried this on 3 people and it took 6-8 weeks to work.

This wouldn’t work, sadly. We need fibre and if you start liquidising food you break down fibre and release ‘free sugars’, (the sugars you freed from the fibre), and then you get insulin spikes and are on the road to diabetes. Just follow a mediterranean diet and eat from the 5 food groups. Make sure you get enough protein, avoid free sugars and processed food, seed oils (vegetable oils), and artificial sweeteners, additives etc and you will be fine. What we are trying to fend off in menopause is inflammation and for some reason we become lower in certain nutrients like magnesium and vitamin D. Take vitamin K2-MK4 with a vitamin D3 supplement for vitamin D absorption and get enough magnesium - all of these work in tandem for bone health too. This woman is a doctor and they get little to no training on diet and menopause, all she has done is research it. You can research all of these things yourself too. Btw - I love your sense of humour, just trying to offer some sensible advice.

What you need to understand is that women will keep producing estrogen. It's not that women dont have estrogen but that there is a blockage stopping the absorption of Estrogen.
