Welcome to my neck of the woods, I love Cannon Beach, Cresent Beach and Ecola park! Its funny, my first time in Florida was in 2018 and that was my first experience with the Atlantic. I was standing there in this super warm water and a lemon slice floated over my foot... I was like, I'm in soup. lol. Even in the summer the ocean water is pretty cold here in Oregon. But the sky does clear up later in the year as far as clouds go.

This is my home state! I grew up outside of portland. I moved out of state, but visit often! This certainly makes me miss home and makes me want to plan my 9 hour drive back sooner!
We live in the PNW and are glad you got to come experience it. Yes it’s cold right now but in the summer it’s the most beautiful place with the water and snow capped mountains. If you go to Cannon Beach April through May the puffin birds nest in Haystack rock and they’re so cute!!! Have fun and welcome to our area! 😊

July 6, 2022 I fell in a hole and for six months I was in bed and you were my go to guy I ended up with agoraphobia but praise God it’s gone so I just wanted to come back and see you and let you know that you helped me through a hard journey. Welcome to Oregon! I grew up near Astoria back in the early 70's. My husband & I now live on the Southern Oregon Coast, but we LOVE to Drive up the coast to my old stomping grounds in Tillamook, Seaside, Cannon Beach, & Astoria. We used to go visit Keiko on the weekends when he was at the Newport Aquarium. We did a lot of Living History Events at Fort Clatsop in Astoria. My Husband also Loves the Maritime Museum, & the Rogue Ale Pub on the Wharf has the BEST Clam Chowder!
I enjoyed this whole video VERY much! It was VERY fancy! But I especially loved the movie scenes you shot! I loved that so much! What a cute town, and the Air BnB was perfect! I really do like it a lot actually! Thanks for taking us along!

Anyone who goes to Astoria needs to go to The Astoria Column. The view is absolutely. The etchings on the column tells the history of the area. You can walk to the top of the column and get an even better view. I was there when they were filming Kindergarten. When we went to the column the little boy from kindergarten cop was there with his mother. You said you were in Portland in the car. No. You were about an 1 1/2 hours away from Portland. Believe me you will know exactly when you are in Portland. Portland is definitely a city I would avoid when in Oregon. So many places that are a million times better to see. If go to Washington state mist of the beach there on the coast you can drive on the beach. Ocean shores, Pacific Beach, Roosevelt Beach.

I took the family to Astoria a few years ago. It is such a beautiful area. I took a picture of the Goonies house and saw some of the other site, did not know about Free Wily and Ninja Turtles. Now I need to go back lol. Keep up the videos

Astoria is the best! Glad you had a good time. If you ever find yourself back in the area, you should check out Long Beach. It's a fun little beach town, but the main highlight is a quirky curiosities shop called Marsh's Free Museum.
I enjoyed watching your video and I loved your imitation of Arnold Schwarzenegger and many other actors it was really funny to see you doing them scenes and I never knew where short circuit and Free Willy and all them other movies were filmed that was awesome to see where they were actually filmed thank you for sharing your video it was fantastic it was awesome and also the food looked delicious and I loved that old movie theater that you guys went into even that old jail that place was awesome.
If you have the time head across the river to Long Beach, Washington or Vancouver, Washington from Portland Oregon interesting things to see in both places.

Wow! Thank you for this. I grew up there in Astoria and have not been back there since 2000. Living in The Villages of Florida now :) You should do a video of Voodoo Donuts in Portland and compare the two from Universal. Go to Multnomah Falls as well. This brought back so many memories and I was an extra in Goonies as a high school kid. Made $3.35/hour for doing it. Go to Long Beach, Washington just across the Astoria bridge. You can drive on the beach there and might see black bears in the surf.

Living in The Villages of Florida now :) You should do a video of Voodoo Donuts in Portland and compare the two from Universal. Go to Multnomah Falls as well. This brought back so many memories and I was an extra in Goonies as a high school kid. Made $3.35/hour for doing it. Go to Long Beach, Washington just across the Astoria bridge. You can drive on the beach there and might see black bears in the surf.
