    Love the clothing in this session.
    Notice they wear inverse colors:
    Red-black and black-red. The necklaces are also inverse colors.
    Nice.

    Thank you so much Kru Mod! I love your videos! I think this video is a great example of how foreign words get adopted into Thai vocabulary, which is by no means a modern trend. Besides English, there are words in the Thai language from Japanese, Portuguese, French, Khmer, Mon, Chinese, and Malay (to name a few). Some haters might say that Thai people are culture stealers, but I prefer to view it as an example of the openness of Thai culture and the willingness of Thai people to adapt foreign concepts that they like into their daily lives!

    ครูมด I always thought ฟิน was derived from endorphin, the chemicals your brain releases that make you feel good. I guess it's difficult to know where a word originates sometimes.

    Why are your private lessons sooo expensive? Usually private Thai teachers in BKK charge about 300 baht per hour (teaching in a language school) but yours is nearly 1,000 baht wow! No wonder you live in a mansion in BKK when charging that much lol.

    I don't understand why you use "Prae" instead of "Chan" for saying "I".

    • @ThaiwithMod
      @ThaiwithMod  9 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      When female speakers take to a friend or an older person, we usually address ourselves with nickname. "chan" is only used when speaking to close friends.

    The word 'slang' does not have a plural, so 'slangs' in incorrect Teacher Mod. Slang is a collective noun therefore the word is 'slang' in singular and plural.

  • @pluc99-pl99
    @pluc99-pl99 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Given the way you use it in Thai, "fin" is more likely to derive from the English "fine" rather than "finale".

    Can you, please, film a video about Thai male and female names and put them in sentences, e. g. : example in English Josh plays a football. Dean takes a walk.
    Could you do the same in Thai?
    In Thai text is it very hard to spot Thai names.

      There's no need to be negative; if you would like a more traditional language learning experience, there are other websites and youtube chnnels on which to increase your Thai language skills. Please try them. Ten thousand subscribers can't all be wrong.

  • @yor37
    @yor37 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    This is supposed to be a Thai language learning video. Why is it being made by two overly dramatising, overly gushing, overly dressed and overly made up young ladies who look like they should be in a high class bar, rather than a "class room?" While flashing some thigh is okay I guess, as I'm sure it will attract certain types of people. However, I don't think it makes for a good 'learning' video. But I guess some younger dudes, and probably some older ones will probably get their jollies just by tuning in and watching the movements.
