I grew up around Spanish so to me Spanish is pretty easy. It’s the French that’s a litttle hard lol. But once you know all the pronounces of Spanish, it can help with French
I'm learning German and french, (should probably learn Spanish at some point too being in the U.S), German comes more natural to be for some reason probably because I started a little bit when I was in middle school.
You reminded me of a little anecdote of my half-French son when he was four years old in England. We went to a charity shop, and he saw a Noddy book so started saying 'oui oui' (which is the French name for Noddy, the Enid Blyton character) - the lady running the shop overheard and offered him use of their toilet!

Hi, I am Spanish speaker, I am learning French now and trying to polish up my English skills. From my point of view, I don't think French is similar to Spanish; it looks much harder for me 7u7.
At 5:44 - "Je ne comprends pas" I'm reminded of an old joke by Alvarez Guedes, the humorista Cubano, God rest his soul (from my mother's country) he had a joke that a Frenchman was in Cuba or Spain (I forgot which) and he needed to pee and he couldn't find a place to pee so he unzipped his pants and started to pee on some flour sacks of a bakery, the baker comes out mad as hell and starts yelling at the Frenchman in Spanish, why he is peeing on the sacks of flour, the Frenchman didn't understand and responds with "Je ne comprends pas!!" and in Spanish it sounds like "Yo no compro pan" which literally means, "I don't buy bread " and the baker yells back, "And just because you don't buy bread you have to urinate on my sacks of flour?!?!" 😆 You had to be there. Esa estubo buena. 😆
Somebody can please explain to me why she makes that breathy sound at the end of some words? For example, here 15:41 with the word "Vie", but she also makes it with a lot of other words. I'm just curious if I should pronounce those words like that too.
Hello, iam actually a bilingual french and arabic, and i teach french also at uni so maybe i can help you by giving you a point of view. Normally the accent she makes at each final words sound is uncessary, in france many accents exist the one of the north (paris champagne ardenne cale) the south (marseille and so on) Each one of them sounds and read the same word yet they differ at ending of the word depending on their region, some people make the weird h she pronounce others add a é etc, it is also due to beathing and her way of talk, she looks sometimes stressed or in hurry (her face turns red it means her senses were in alert) this is a revelant cause wich made us add a sound caused by our breathing process... in conclusion, you should limit yourself to emitate or learn the main souns of the world and make you learning stronger bu listening to different sources in oder to get amilir to all sounds. Wish u the best :)
I wish I'd seen your comment before I made a similar one! It's like she's making the throaty "chhhhhkkkkkk" sound Germans make when they pronounce "ch" (except people in Berlin). It's the same sound as in "Ich auch."

I like how you teach, you keep it interesting and not boring but your super fast when you speak especially for beginners.
Hello! This is awesome! Thank you for teaching us useful words. I'll be learning with you from now on. :D May I ask something? hihi. I am really new in learning french and I can't catch up with the accent and the pronunciation with the spelling. If you could have a slower one, please. (just one slow ver. every after phrase.) that'd help me, and other beginners as well. Thank you so much. Wish you all the best!

So someone who repeatedly asks you the time would be a...
serial quelle heure? 🤔😳
Hmmmm! Oui, oui, donnez-moi la petite dejeuner a' 10:00:00 A.M.!!! S'IL VOUS PLAIT!!! Non, non!!! Non serial S'IL vous PLAIT!!!

I would have LOVED you as my French teacher in high school! But, alas, here we are 23 years later and I’m learning more from you than I did in two years of French 😂
Very nice way to teach French...slowly and gradually covering all important things in French ! Really enjoyed it, great👍👍 keep it up. Thanks
It's amazing learning French in English, I love it!Thanks!
She is the most beautiful teacher I ever had,I love you.

you're fun. thx for making my french-learning lessons more awesome ;D
Thank you! I'm learning much from you and your videos. I love the way how you go slow pronunciation of words with emphasis.
The channel and their method of teaching us french is unique.
Watching your...hm.let’s call it a lesson from Russia, absolutely love how you pronounce words both in English and French, you are such a charm
Normally the accent she makes at each final words sound is uncessary, in france many accents exist the one of the north (paris champagne ardenne cale) the south (marseille and so on)
Each one of them sounds and read the same word yet they differ at ending of the word depending on their region, some people make the weird h she pronounce others add a é etc, it is also due to beathing and her way of talk, she looks sometimes stressed or in hurry (her face turns red it means her senses were in alert) this is a revelant cause wich made us add a sound caused by our breathing process... in conclusion, you should limit yourself to emitate or learn the main souns of the world and make you learning stronger bu listening to different sources in oder to get amilir to all sounds.
Wish u the best :)
I wish I'd seen your comment before I made a similar one! It's like she's making the throaty "chhhhhkkkkkk" sound Germans make when they pronounce "ch" (except people in Berlin). It's the same sound as in "Ich auch."

Very smart, I have some French, but I am rusty and need to refresh, she is funny and it makes it fun to learn and re-learn/refresh my memory. Merci, Shell
Please pronounce French sentences slowly and loud, and don't forget you have to speak more French than English. Your examples are nice. :)
For slow, you can change the speed of the video. Once its slow, you will not feel the need to put it louder.
well she makes it sound way more interesting and inviting. I think she does a very good job. and yes, it helps to make the video slower if you can't understand very well. This video helped me.
Yes you are right about that but maybe you could be wrong!
yes . but then we will never learn to understand others speaking French to us . that has always been my problem . i can say what i want but i often don't understand the reply . and want to get used to the speed .
Video make no sense for learner. Too fast
