Hello Ken, Have you visited malaysia recently? But I heard from my friend that visas are closed for the tourists yet until 30march 2021.....How you managed to reach there?
There are many RM1 Fried Chicken stall in Malaysia. Sometimes it taste like KFC and sometimes better. Every stall have its own different recipes. It is super worth it, right?
Bagaimana mampu jual seringgit sekeping sayap ayam, paha, dada ayam ya....sedangkan ayam mentah sekeping pun dah berapa ringgit? Saya fikir ini semua dari KFC dan outlet2 jual ayam Fast food yg tak habis d jual yg sudah expire dalam peti sejuk. Sepatutnya mereka kena buang tu tetapi sayang nak buang sebab masih boleh dimakan.
Thats why whenever I go on road trip in Malaysia it take 2x the time to reached any destination, the roadside stalls are the culprits and not just in Malaysia even in Japan when I drive on road trips their rest stops are great place for food n local produces too
13:25 the lil sister is fighting with her brother cause she's trying to avoid you(and swap with him instead to be cashier) cause she afraid she don't know how to speak in English😂😂 it's funny
Kampung chicken actually has a different meaning. Free-range chicken is known as kampung chicken here; it's more expensive and the meat is leaner and supposed to be healthier. So this one is just local chicken 😊 Also, that pink fruit is known as rose apple in English.
Also kampung chicken being bio-organic would be more pricey in the city. Btw, the word kampung is pronounced `kahm-pong`with the stress on the `oh` sound..u r welcome, thank u very much.
unfortunately, commercial kampung chicken are not truly free range, reared in almost similar conditions as regular supermarket chicken. they eat the same food too.
There's one brand namely Perlis Fried Chicken, the taste much better than KFC or McDonald's. One piece RM2. I found one stall in the small city of Simpang Empat, Perlis.
I lived in Perlis for 6yrs and believe me, the food is delicious. Did you guys try the grilled fish in Kuala Perlis... The dipping sauce is slightly different from other states and so much better... And I would suggest durian with sticky rice (if you can stand the smell of durian that is) or mango with sticky rice... Have a great vacation in Perlis guys......
Ken, you should try "Dragon Fruit" (the fruits in front of the weighing scale - Dark red & with some green curly stems on the fruit). You'll need to cut /peel off the curly stem first, remove the skins. Cut it into pieces or slices. Don't be surprised to see so many seeds in it. They can be eaten. Very nutritious!
We usually eat the Jambu by dipping in a soy sauce, cili padi, sugar and belacan mix (u can omit the belacan if u r not into it) or kuah rojak buah (Ivana is a fan of it)... Sometimes we dip in only salt or asamboi powder....
In English that red fruit ( jambu air ) is called rose apple..very crunchy. Ciku is sapodilla, very sweet when ripen. Need to remove the skin. Thank you for sharing another cool vlog...have an amazing day !!
There's another Ukrainian guy traveling in Penang right now and love ayam goreng singgit. I enjoyed watching his vlog too. He enjoyed the ayam a lot 😂😂😂😂
Terima Kasih Ivana. The girl kedai buah tu mesti ingat awak Cina Indonesia. Ha Ha..Terima Kasih sbb melawat negeri saya. Dah lama tak balik. From now on people are going to perlis, not just stopping by otw to langkawi.
This is my first video watching from Ken Abroad, then I automatically subscribed because so funny and enjoyed your video! Well yeah, enjoy your journey in Malaysia!
Aggressive market 🤣🤣🤦♀️ I cannot 🤣 Can't believe Steve outdid Ken for the fried chicken this time 😂 The kampung vibes are really nice in Perlis. Love the wide expanse of green fields and the feels of the slow and calm life there. You guys definitely convinced me to make a visit to Perlis hahahahah. Please wash the fruits though 😂
Very interesting! Mighty White....Steve's nickname in high school...lol! Ken seems to be always fascinated by those stalls at the roadside. The fried chicken sure look better than kfc. Kfc is the last place I ever want to eat. No fan of kfc. I prefer kunyit ayam bakar /goreng anytime. Ivana , I never thought ciku taste like cinnamon but now that you describe it...yes, it does have a touch of it.
Agrobazar - local product market especially agriculture local products. For the agro terms they used the term from the word agriculture. Ken should get the small oranges. It is sweet hehe... That one is jambu air means there is water. Another type of jambu is jambu batu which is hard.
ciku and mangosteen are the best fruits. the taste is exotic. 😘. what is the dear fruit name of mango from perlis? oh Harum Manis. as expensive as high class durian by weight...
That fruit that tastes like apple is called as Jambu Air or Rose Apple in English. Nice to eat with asam boi powder, soy sauce or rojak paste. I think in Malaysia, besides importing fruits from Thailand, some states like Perak, Pahang, Penang, Perlis produce good quality of fruits like jambu air, ciku, oranges, durian, mango .etc. Anyway, nice to see you guys enjoying foods and places in Perlis! Thank you for the great videos.
The fruits are really fresh and cheap. Lol! Ivana says the chiku taste like cinnamon. No..😆it got a taste of its own ( can't describe it) I love it. It's sweet when it's ripe and soft.
Hi Ken, in Perlis the best fruit there is buah harum manis. Its a type of manggo and really sweet and fragrant. Even us as Malaysian also hard to purchase that fruit due to higher demand. Hope u can try it and give review.. 😁
Chiku a.k.a. Zapota does not taste anywhere close to cinnamon. It has a grainy texture and taste more like well ripened pear. It has a ton of health benefits and can be found in many parts of Asia, Caribbean, Central America and South Mexico.
It's really my kampung at titi tinggi but over than 1 years i never go back to my home town since too busy with my job at Penang and the pandemic attack us too.
hello hai guys...Yes Perlis does not really have much tourist attractions..its a small state...village vibes...have a good day guys glad you liked Perlis... @kenAbroad

Hai bro @KenAbroad, I from Perlis. I like 2 welcome you to our state. Should u visit perlis next time, you should try our lovely & delicious food. Such as ikan bakar (grilled fish), pulut mangga (sticky rice with mango), laksa (rice noodle with fish gravy), nasi ulam (a special rice with alot of herbs, and only available on Ramadhan). Looking forward for your next visit.😊😊😊😊
Woohoo....you guys are just great, eating RM1 chicken and fruit by the roadside... Very cheeky of Steve to leave only a piece for Ivana. Poor girl !!! 😂
Before testing give me ....One..... After testing ..... Ok.. give me three.....LOL..Ken was devouring the fried chicken.....Guess the chicken was really awesome until Ken ordered 3 pieces.... LOL.. Cinnamon fruit!!? Hmm.. This is really in the middle of nowhere.... Not many foreigners so locals are a little intrigued...Stay safe, happy exploring..
That bananas looks good too. Do you know we have a lot of type of bananas? Different bananas have different taste too. I like pisang emas the most. Also that 'agro'- is the shortform slang from 'agriculture'.

The chiken chunks are quite large even at the prise of one ringgit. If in Kuala Lumpur, the chicken chunks for one rinngit are quite small. One more thing, why this stall did not provide chili sauce to be eaten with fried chicken....

There's one brand namely Perlis Fried Chicken, the taste much better than KFC or McDonald's. One piece RM2. I found one stall in the small city of Simpang Empat, Perlis.

As long as it's chicken, Ken will love it.
