If you talk about Malaysia, I think Sabah is the most beautiful. I agreed that Perlis is one of the most beautiful in peninsular Malaysia. I also love to see the green scenery in Perlis. If you go to Kuala Perlis, you can eat seafood.
Ken - "Perlis is the most beautiful state in Malaysia" Steve and Ivana - "one of the top three" Perlisians will be very proud and grateful to you guys for that great comment. I too agreed with you guys that Perlis is indeed beautiful after watching all those amazing vlogs. Thanks for sharing !! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Ken and also all viewers here.
I am Malaysian from neighboring Kedah though I now reside in KL. I am from Alor Star, only 30 minutes from Perlis. I've always thought Perlis as a very beautiful state though I am not sure if it is the MOST beautiful state. I am enchanted by Perlis's greenery ringed and dotted by hills and mountains- the wide expanses of rice fields, the hills and mountains, the limestone hills dotting the flat landscapes of the rice fields, the beautiful country roads in Perlis running through the landscape, the beautiful Timah Tasoh Reservoir, the Malay kampongs/villages dotting the landscape. All very picturesque to me. I never get tired of Perlis, I have many relatives there too, my female cousins married to Perlis men. But every state is beautiful in its own ways. My home state of Kedah is definitely beautiful too from Kubang Pasu district up north to Bandar Baharu district down south, from Kota Star district (my home district where I was raised) on the coast in the east to mountainous green Padang Terap & Sik (my birth district) district bordering Thailand. And Langkawi, Kedah's insular/island district comprising 99 islands big and small, enchantingly scattered like pearls in the ocean.. Selangor where I have been living, working and raising family most of my adult life is also beautiful. Go to Tanjung Karang, Sabak Bernam, Sekinchan on the coast, or Kuala Kubu Baru or the mountainous borders with Pahang or the wetlands in Dengkil, Selangor is truly beautiful too..
the facts: the wang kelian border just now was very popular as same as padang besar in for long time years ago, it was a free business zone between malaysians and thailands on sunday. they freely walks accross the border without passprt legally around 500m, the zone was closed after implementation of GST (VAT) in malaysia few years ago
