The wonderful thing about Malaysian street food is most of the hawkers can converse in English and they are clean and hygenic. Most of them use rubber gloves or plastic gloves. The food is also delicious.

For those who are wondering, the 3 months lockdown in Malaysia has caused hotel businesses to suffer and, as result, a lot of hotels had to close down business or went through retrenchment. I believe the chef was the victim of this tragedy. Do visit his stall to show some support if you are nearby. His food looks amazing.
Maybe he can predit the impact of incoming covid in China would separate into Malaysia and effects our economic. Then he decided to resigned and plan his own business i guess.
You should visit my restaurant too, that guy name is Wan. He is my best friend and we always have discussion for our business menu together. The tricycle he using is also mine which I used to sell coffee and I gave him to use it since he wanted to start street stall. Thanks for supporting us Malaysian stall

When i heard he stopped working in a hotel, i knew the food would confirm be great 😂 most hoteliers and chefs that used to work in hotels are great cooks or bakers. Chefs in hotels know how to plate their food really well which is why it looks like a bomb 😍 and of course as a hotelier myself, hygiene and cleanliness are our top priority. We are trained to have a clean setup and everything which is why everything is so clean in his stall
U know when a pasta properly packed per portion and well organised kitchen cart, the chef definetly have experince working before in industry kitchen/hotels.
For everyone wondering the excat location of this Its in Penang batu frengghi. Just keep driving till u see a petrol station called petronas. Park there and its right opposite. Hope that helps u guys!!
This is why I envy people involved in culinary, they can feed themselves with great food, they can go into food business, they can also make a teaching class of their own, props to these guys and all the people in culinary field out there
im from Paris, and what i can say is Malaysia is a fantastic country i ever went! most of malaysians also can speak English fluently and a lots of yummy foods there! im decided to live in JB and im so comfortable here! i hope this country get a lot of recognition from people around the globe cause this country deserves it! go Malaysia! 🇲🇾

Definitely in Georgetown! Thai Street food is always a decent option too. If you go to Indonesia then definitely try daging Rendang, the best I ever had was in Jakarta

Ken!!! This is a super brilliant find! I hope that guy get to have his own restaurant/kopitiam. Would love to find that stall next time if we happens to be in Penang. Chinese kopitiam has duck dishes. You should try it if you come across it next time. They sometimes sell duck meat in chicken rice stalls too. Look it up.

It's a new stall, last I stayed in that area was in late 2019, it wasn't there before because I regularly eat at that particular area when in feringghi. Thanks for the video, maybe I can try it if I'm going there soon. Anyway, anything with duck, especially smoked duck is definitely more expensive than chicken or beef even for street food standard.

If it was in a 5star hotel with Aircon and fancy interior design that would easily be RM 70.80 - RM85.80. I think you should do this as a side mission where ever you go. Try to find 5star chef in the street. . I know there is a lot of chef have open small street stall and give us 5star delicious and fancy food with street prices. The only problem is that they don't put their title on the board (5star hotel chef)

When you eat there you really feel like you are eating your neighbors/friend who is a chef cooks for you and you are 1 with the community....

Education is free for 11 years, books are loan free of charge, and English is a compulsory subject for all the 11 years.

Have you tried passembor yet Ken? whenever I go to Penang, I used to eat passembor at PADANG KOTA LAMA Food Court, strolling by the fort, where the FORT CORNWALLIS & HERITAGE BUILDING,PENANG TOWN HALL is nearby.

It's a new stall, last I stayed in that area was in late 2019, it wasn't there before because I regularly eat at that particular area when in feringghi. Thanks for the video, maybe I can try it if I'm going there soon.
Anyway, anything with duck, especially smoked duck is definitely more expensive than chicken or beef even for street food standard.

I've travelled all over the globe, Malaysia is one of the best & cheapest.......
If it was in a 5star hotel with Aircon and fancy interior design that would easily be RM 70.80 - RM85.80.
I think you should do this as a side mission where ever you go. Try to find 5star chef in the street. . I know there is a lot of chef have open small street stall and give us 5star delicious and fancy food with street prices. The only problem is that they don't put their title on the board (5star hotel chef)

@@KenAbroad here in ampang I can show you 4 retired/fired chef cook in the grand hotel has open their kitchen Infront of theirs house in the middle of the housing area. When you eat there you really feel like you are eating your
neighbors/friend who is a chef cooks for you and you are 1 with the community....
