    The wool ease yarn works up beautifully for these baskets . I made 7 baskets for xmas to fill with goodies . I used 2 complementary yarns and made the top one color and the bottom another. If I could figure out how to include a picture..I would. Thank you for sharing this fabulous pattern!!💕

    Your circle is vastly different from anything that I have ever seen! I think I might try this method, as it seems a lot easier. Most baskets require two strands of yarn per stitch. Yours is the only one that I have ever seen use one ball of yarn, which I prefer. Thank you so much!

    We recently moved and I’ve been shopping for hand made baskets. They are absolutely ridiculously expensive to buy. I will be doing this for myself and a few for Christmas gifts as well. Thank you for your video. It was great to hear how you make these for your Valentine baby and other girls too. God bless.

    Thank you so much for this tutorial! I'm a beginner at crocheting but picking it up quickly. I almost gave up on this basket. I don't know how many times I ripped it out and started over. I was going for almost perfection because I'd like to sell these. Finally I got the basket I wanted! I added another embellishment...a brown wooden button offset on the front at the top. So so cute! Wish I could show you here. Thanks for giving me a boost of confidence!

    I have FINALLY found the basket pattern I was looking for! Thank you ! Your video is very easy to follow and delivered an awesome product! I actually used an ivory bernat blanket yarn which still resulted in a pretty sturdy basket given how soft that yarn can be. Great work!

    I love this pattern! It took me awhile to figure out where rounds end, so I always marked first st of each round with stitch marker before continuing with each new round. The st into center of post was a bit tricky, but I got it.

    Excellent tutorial - clear instructions and easy to follow - easy listening - I like how you noted the number of stitches at the end of the increase - I’ve messed up and this really helped. I used the exact yarn you suggested - I ordered it from bluprint and it arrived very quickly. My project turned out so cute. Thanks:)

    Hi MJ don’t worry about my last comment. I tried and tried so hard over the past few days and I have a basket 😱😱😱😂😂😂 I’m not sure if it is exactly the same as yours my slip stitch down the back shows where as yours doesn’t but I kept my count and marked the slip stitch so as I knew not to work into it. Thank you so much, I love your tutorial, I love the basket and I love you xxx 🧡💚🧡😊🌸

    Vraiment génial et vous avez une voix très agréable.

    What a great project! I will be making this pattern. 😀👍🏻💜 thank you! Actually, i am working on it now and am almost finished. Your instructions are excellent in this video. I modified by crocheting handles into the basket. I have only been crocheting for about three weeks and find this project to be easy and fun to make!

    Hi hun, that's a beautiful basket. By the way, reverse single crochet is called crab stitch. I love this stitch and have used it on several projects over the years including the edge of baby blankets and dish clothes.

    • @neverfae442
      @neverfae442 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you're left handed try typing "left hand crochet" and you should find some beginning tutorials just for people who crochet left handed! I think also there is a video or two about how to convert right handed patterns.
      If thats a lot of work you might want to try knitting, at least if Im right in assuming you're new to the whole thing. It uses both hands more prominently and there seems to be a lot more left handed knitters than crocheters

    Hello....I love this video. You explained everything in so much detail. Especially, the magic knot. I have been crocheting for a very long time, but never got the hang of the magic knot...no matter how many times I tried it...hahaha! So, I would make a whatever number chain I needed and slip stitch to join and make a loop to work in a circle that way. You just made it so much easier the way you explained the magic knot. Thank you hum 🤗😍

    Enjoyed this project and you were so clear with instructions 👍🏼 one problem I had was knowing when I got back to join up couldn’t see where I started so ended up with too many stitches 😯 still carried on until it looked even and measured across 🤔 so halfway thru think it’s ok x however I think I should have used plain wool my tweedy mix didn’t help! Also idea to put a marker so you know when to join back with slipstitch as mine wasn’t as obvious as yours looked 😕 sorry it’s a long comment but thought it might help others x thanks x Wendy x

    I noticed that each or your first throws are actually a yarn under and after you pull up your loops, it is a yarn over. Not sure is that makes a difference or just your preference.
